Steak Frites & Chicken Pot Pie
    Gabby G.

Been coming here for some years now, always enjoy the food (can you tell what I like). Steak frites & chicken parm are always my go to, their sausage bread & caesar salad are also some of my favorites, you really can't go wrong with anything. Would also recommend coming earlier to grab a booth & some food & drinks to hangout the rest of the night, it can get pretty busy some nights. Summer made me a bomb michi & I also love their palomas!

It was a pleasant surprise to see the changes made at Sandrini's. The last time I had been here was 12 years ago during my wild 20s when the thing to do was bar hop. We gathered here for a friends birthday dinner and we were immediately greeted by our Server Damian who went above and beyond to help us put a couple tables together for what we expected to be a large group. Though not everyone showed up, Damian was patient thru ought the night, checking in on us, getting our drink orders first and then our food. We each chose something different off the Menu. A variety of wings, cheese curds, garlic parm fries and chorizo sliders. Everything was so delicious! Perfect way to get these near 40yr. Olds started for a relived night out on the town! I will definitely be coming back to to try their other dishes and enjoy this place a bit more at a slower pace.

It's downstairs area which I think is really cool! It can get really loud if you're looking for that type of vibe. It wasn't too overwhelming if you're there a bit earlier. My waitress kept checking up on us, recommended drinks and cleaning up our table. The drinks are pretty strong The mashed potatoes were so good, had so much flavor. My chicken tikka was okay, it wasn't super spicy (just like she told me it wouldn't be) but it was a great version of it, I would've preferred more bread over rice.

Bomb Italian sausage bread must try

We used to come here a lot many years ago. It's We recently went there after a night of drinking to soak up some alcohol and heard the food was great. Let me tell you their food now is amazing. Specially after a night of drinking, it was a little awkward being in my 40s and in a place full of 20 somethings but it was just nice to see everybody having a good time no drama but if you want some good late night eats definitely come check this place out. Definitely try the Italian sausage bread so good.

Service was okay. I can admit i was in the wrong for reaching over and grabbing a lime but the bartender (bald asian dude, he's pretty cool) reached over and squeezed my arm really hard and said "don't ever do that again!" and i said "okay i'm sorry i won't do it again" (with a smile on my face trying to show im sincere because i was) and he continued to grab my arm really hard. it left a mark. i can see where i did wrong but dude you're a man, im a girl- u are way more stronger than i :(

This time we tried the croissant sandwich, the sunshine breakfast plate, and the French toast combo. When the French toast came out I was worried at first. It didn't look like it was cooked well enough but I was so wrong...it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I was most excited about being able to order turkey bacon though. My daughter said her sandwich was good and my husband said his pancakes, bacon, sausage, ham, eggs and potatoes were great. The eggs were well poached, nice and runny yolk. The meat portion was good, it was a touch salty. Muffin was toasted well and the hash browns were good. The hollandaise sauce was a touch heavy on the lemon but I still enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly when I entered as well so the service was good. The setback for me was the price tag, it was almost $18 for just the benedict with hash brown, no drink or anything else. It's a bit high, I think for the quality and taste if it were a few bucks cheaper I'd give pretty high praise. Still, it was a pretty good experience and I'll probably give it another shot down the road.

My only gripe is the parking or lack there of. Very tight and small in the designated parking on the west side of the restaurant and we've found it difficult to find parking on 18th street. The vibes in the new space are absolutely immaculate. There is so much more energy here, and the decorations are incredibly cute. It's the perfect backdrop for a killer meal. The Main Event: This time around, I went with the En Fuego Burger. This beast is loaded with a chile-spiced beef patty, pepperjack, sharp cheddar, thick-cut bacon, chipotle mayo, pepper relish, pickled jalapeños, and a mountain of fried jalapeños + onion strings. The Flavor Profile: This burger delivers on every level, but those fried onion strings were to die for. For the side, I got the sweet potato fries, which are served as big, thick-cut wedges. They come paired with a duo of spicy ketchup and a marshmallow dipping sauce. Switching between the two was amazing, the marshmallow sauce actually makes the fries feel like a dessert. The Drink: To wash it all down, I ordered the basil lemonade, and omg, I need to figure out how to recreate this at home. It's exactly what it sounds like, crisp, refreshing lemonade with a perfect herbal basil finish. The Verdict: If you loved their old spot, the new location takes everything to the next level. Between the upgraded atmosphere, the dessert-like fries, and that refreshing lemonade, I will absolutely be coming back here again and again.

SMITTENS STAPLE IS THEIR ABILITY TO MISS THE FLAVOR IN EVER SINGLE DISH…read more Update: coming back after some palate development... smitten is one of the most tasteless restaurants in town. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
