I was on a business trip and I came upon this place. Wonderful vibe and the food that exceeded my expectations. Wonderful value and a great way to meet Bakersfield.

Been coming here for some years now, always enjoy the food (can you tell what I like). Steak frites & chicken parm are always my go to, their sausage bread & caesar salad are also some of my favorites, you really can't go wrong with anything. Would also recommend coming earlier to grab a booth & some food & drinks to hangout the rest of the night, it can get pretty busy some nights. Summer made me a bomb michi & I also love their palomas!

It was a pleasant surprise to see the changes made at Sandrini's. The last time I had been here was 12 years ago during my wild 20s when the thing to do was bar hop. We gathered here for a friends birthday dinner and we were immediately greeted by our Server Damian who went above and beyond to help us put a couple tables together for what we expected to be a large group. Though not everyone showed up, Damian was patient thru ought the night, checking in on us, getting our drink orders first and then our food. We each chose something different off the Menu. A variety of wings, cheese curds, garlic parm fries and chorizo sliders. Everything was so delicious! Perfect way to get these near 40yr. Olds started for a relived night out on the town! I will definitely be coming back to to try their other dishes and enjoy this place a bit more at a slower pace.

It's downstairs area which I think is really cool! It can get really loud if you're looking for that type of vibe. It wasn't too overwhelming if you're there a bit earlier. My waitress kept checking up on us, recommended drinks and cleaning up our table. The drinks are pretty strong The mashed potatoes were so good, had so much flavor. My chicken tikka was okay, it wasn't super spicy (just like she told me it wouldn't be) but it was a great version of it, I would've preferred more bread over rice.

Bomb Italian sausage bread must try

We used to come here a lot many years ago. It's We recently went there after a night of drinking to soak up some alcohol and heard the food was great. Let me tell you their food now is amazing. Specially after a night of drinking, it was a little awkward being in my 40s and in a place full of 20 somethings but it was just nice to see everybody having a good time no drama but if you want some good late night eats definitely come check this place out. Definitely try the Italian sausage bread so good.

Service was okay. I can admit i was in the wrong for reaching over and grabbing a lime but the bartender (bald asian dude, he's pretty cool) reached over and squeezed my arm really hard and said "don't ever do that again!" and i said "okay i'm sorry i won't do it again" (with a smile on my face trying to show im sincere because i was) and he continued to grab my arm really hard. it left a mark. i can see where i did wrong but dude you're a man, im a girl- u are way more stronger than i :(

First time coming here and will be coming back! Everything was very good. The flavors were definitely coming through for all dishes and I throughly enjoyed it. The brownie cake was divine, the warmth of the cake and the richness of the vanilla complimented each other extremely well. The vibes of the place were also so freaking cool. Totally forgot I was in Bakersfield for a second. I know there are a few days where they have live music but I'm not sure when their are exactly. I hope to come back then for the full experience.

Little hidden gems. Lighting is dark with bits color and neon popping through. The Bar Top curves around the bar- there are two booths that seat 5-6 and two short tables next to them- one seats 4- the other will comfortably seat two. There are a few bench style seating areas at the front with some short coffee tables. Think- skater tiki bar. The drinks were good- small menu if you're not sure what you want or are new to tiki. Both sides of the menu are the same menu. There are some nice mocktail options as well- you don't see that often. The service for me is mixed- it wasn't busy- steady but not busy- 1/4 full. I ordered two drinks to start for our table- (no cocktail servers here/not unusual for a small Tiki bar) I asked for a soda water- the bartender looked at me without a word- popped open a can of soda water and walked away. When he walked back by, I asked for a glass of ice- he said nothing and I got an eye-roll huff. I almost left. I don't think providing a glass with ice to pour your canned room temp soda water in, is too wacky an idea to be perturbed by the request. The female who took the order was friendly, smiled and was professional. We got a third cocktail- the Mai Tai. The grumpy bartender was friendlier this time. So, that helped. Maybe he felt overwhelmed and I threw off his groove by asking for water- then a glass... either way- being annoyed wasn't cool. The music.... Wasn't Tiki- it threw off the "Tiki Vibe" and made it feel typical small local bar that serves only Tiki drinks with some Tiki decor. It didn't take you to the land of Tiki- disappointed. Drinks were good.

It is a long and narrow establishment with a trendy vibe. Decorated with wine barrels and bottles which give it an industrial feel. We were greeted by a server immediately upon entering but he wasn't very friendly. I placed an order for a Tito's press for my first round and the hubs ordered a Tito's and tonic. For our next round I ordered a Tito's and tonic and was given another vodka press. After scanning the QR code and checking out the menu, we decided on the shrimp ceviche as an appetizer with the shrimp tacos and a chicken taco salad. The menu is soooo small! I came in with an appetite and there wasn't much to choose from. The hubs said the ceviche was too salty but the shrimp tacos were good. I thought the taco salad was delicious and I finished it all. My friend ordered the garlic shrimp and also said they were salty and at $24.99 for just 6 shrimp, she would not order them again. The weirdest part was there was a big labradoodle inside the restaurant! I thought it crazy at first since there is a patio that is just fine for dogs. Look, I'm a dog lover, but inside of a restaurant is crazy to me! What if people are allergic? What if the dog jumps on the table? This dog was roaming all over the place...it was under our table looking for scraps and I even seen it sniffing a patrons legs at one of the high top tables. Anyway, this place is decorated super cute, the food was okay and the dog seems to be one of the owners so it seems it's going to be there indefinitely.
