We ordered the Chorizo Mac & Cheese and the tzatziki, baba ganoush, beluga lentils, and pita, and everything was delicious. But the true star of the evening was our waiter, Spencer. This man has PERSONALITY. He was warm, attentive, hilarious, charismatic, and somehow made us feel like we were hanging out with an old friend instead of meeting him for the first time. I'm also ridiculously picky about beer. I gave Spencer my very specific list of beer requirements (which usually leaves people staring at me like I've asked them to solve a complex math equation) and he instantly knew exactly what to bring me. He nailed it on the first try. Honestly, impressive. Spencer, if you see this: please never change! You turned a casual dinner into one of those unexpectedly fun visits you continue talking about afterward. We'll absolutely be back to see our new friend again.
