Sandwich Club is a small walk-in/take out spot in the "downtown" of Langhorne Borough. I found parking behind the building in a small parking lot. On-street parking can be challenging at times. When you walk in there is usually about a half dozen staff manning every area of the operation. Everyone was very kind and patient, especially the guy I'm assuming is the owner. Menu wise you can get just about everything a pizza shop would have minus the pizza. The man who took my phone order suggested a Boom Boom Chicken Wrap which he said was a top seller. I also put in orders for fries an Italian hoagie and a 4 pc Rice Cini combo and a plain old ham and cheese on a hoagie roll. My son enjoyed his plain ham & cheese hoagie, my buddy said the same for his Italian hoagie (ham, salami, spicy ham & provolone), the Rice Cini's were very greasy and bland. I don't think they are made in house. (My mother makes authentic arancini so we are spoiled) Onto the Boom Boom Chicken Wrap - fried chicken breast tenders, house spicy sauce, shredded mozzarella, lettuce tomato. For a signature offering it could've been better! It was drippy, very loose and plain old fell apart. The ingredients were doused in sauce and slid when you applied any pressure to hold the wrap together. I will say their chicken tenders are legit. The owner threw in some for my youngest son to try. He tore them up. They are hand cut and breaded in house. Points for that. Second visit was all about that wing special they post everywhere. 25 wings for $19.99. I ordered hot and mild (they allow a split of sauces for the order). The hot was Crystals hot sauce and the mild was an odd mix of Crystals and BBQ sauce. They were medium sized, fresh and tasty. I love my jumbo wings from my normal spot, but these were good/average. I wish they had a premium Italian hoagie offering with prosciutto/capicola/sharp provolone and a seeded roll option. Maybe in the future I'll try their cheesesteak. I feel like the food was 3.5 and the service/kindness of the owner and staff gave them an extra .5 to give them the full four. I once worked up the street from Sandwich Club in Langhorne, PA, and was a regular customer. Our office sent them large lunch orders at least once a week. Back then, I loved their hot and cold sandwiches and homemade soup, and ultimately settled in on the Chicken Florentine Sandwich as the best of the menu. Eventually, I moved on to other employment, and left the Club behind. Still, I never forgot those garlicky spinach, chicken and provolone creations hot off their grill and melted in their oven. I was nearby recently and had the urge to return and eat another of those wonderful sandwiches. I parked right in front around 3 in the afternoon. The tiny storefront looked the same and emitted a glorious aroma of an Italian kitchen. I spoke with an owner, who was friendly and desiring to help. I ordered, and waited the ten minutes until the completed stuffed long roll was out of the oven after melting all the cheese. The shop only does takeout, so I drove to my office with that terrific drooling smell filling the cabin of my car. Expectations grew as I sat at my desk and opened the styro container (wish they were more environmentally aware). The sammy looked great and I took a snapshot for Yelp and posterity. First bite I realized that the chicken was dry and clearly had been sitting around for a while in cut up pieces. The reheating in the stovetop and baking in the oven had left it lifeless and begging for mercy. Disappointing, to say the least. They should have started from scratch with a whole breast and grilled it as they sliced it and mixed in the other ingredients. That was what I remembered from years before. Using left over already cooked chicken in my sandwich was a recipe for failure. I ate everything feeling somewhat dejected, but at least the sautéed spinach and garlic infused roll were good and reminded of better days. I imagine that if you are there for earlier lunch when everything is fresh, a much better product can be delivered. I am just sad that I didn't get to enjoy that delicious memory in the present. read more

We stopped by the sandwich club today to grab lunch before heading to the park. My wife has been there prior but today was my first time. This joint is strictly takeout and they offer no seating. The counter girl was nice and pleasant. We ordered the grilled chicken veggie wrap and an Italian hoagie. The wrap was delicious. All of the veggies were cooked well and the chicken was flavored nicely. The wraps come with chips and a pickle. The hoagie on the other hand wasn't great. The roll was nice and fresh, the tomato and lettuce were also nice and fresh. The hoagie looks nice and had a great presentation, it just lacked the flavor. There was no seasoning at all! No salt, pepper, oregano, oil, nothing. The sharp provolone was a nice touch. It was just boring and unforgettable. It's also weird that a sandwich shop only offers one flavor of potato chips. I have been going to Sandwich club for years, they are the best around, from the food to the staff to the delivery people. However, the last 4 times i have gotten the broccoli and cheddar soup, it has been unedible. the salt content in it ruins the entire batch. Service was really nice. The counter girl took the time to explain the menu items to us. Random place we stopped in while in the area, so I probably wouldn't return. Our takeout order was kind of big but not huge, but it still took awhile to make. We waited outside approximately 30 minutes. Kind of long. Food was a little greasy, but portions are massive. The BLT had tons of bacon strips. I had a chicken florentine sub that was grilled chicken. A nice surprise, but not enough cheese. Wings were flavorful. This place is the best sandwich shop in bucks county. I've been going here for almost 10 years and the quality has been consistently great. My favorite thing to get is a Donnas Favorite, which is a fried chicken and fries combo. The portion sizing is really generous as well. They also have great sandwiches and cheese steaks too. i Work about a mile from this place and just happened to stop in one day looking for some quick lunch. I ordered a boom boom wrap Because I was in a hurry and it was literally first thing that stood out on the menu . When I got back to my office to eat it i Was very surprised that it was so good. Just moved to the area from NYC where we are used to food done right. Many places around here have messed up our food, been chinsey and cheap and bad quality. I was skeptical. The food was amazing! My fiancé got his beloved sausage and peppers sand and I a cheesesteak. My daughter got fried chicken. Everything was made perfectly. High quality ingredients. Hot and fresh with amazingly reasonable prices. This will be our new spot when we are craving yummy city food!! Food is generally good, I ordered today and wasn't too thrilled. My salad was watery and my poppers were ice cold inside, fries were hard as a rock. The shocker was I specified something with my salad, they called me to confirm and still got it wrong. About a year ago food was great, my last 3 orders were mediocre at best. Have been wanting to try this spot for decades it seems. Always smells delicious when I pass by and I've heard very good things about them. Sorry to give them only three stars from my visit 2 days ago as the food was quite tasty, however the Cheesesteak was quite on the small side and literally by the time I cross the street the french fries were only so-so on the warm side even though I had asked for them well done. We love Sandwich Club! The Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich is the best and you can never go wrong with the bacon, cheese fries. The buffalo chicken salad is amazing because they use sharp cheese in it which most places don't do. So we usually order all of those things. Panini is soggy and overly salty (and I like salt), salad is sub par. First, the delivery man dropped it off at the wrong location (God help you if you're bleeding out and can't read the large red sign that says EMERGENCY in big capital letters). After traversing the hospital to go pick up the food which was delivered thereon location, I discovered that not only is the food crap, but they screwed up the order.
