Well, I think I'm the only person who has had an OK experience here. I purchased a 2001 Jetta in January and despite all the negative reviews my car was quickly deteriorating and I needed something ASAP. Also, I'm a sucker for VW's... having my guard up I almost didn't go through with the sale as not being able to take the car to a mechanic pre-sale is a HUGE red flag, but I am young and stubborn so I took my chance. The owner did the whole car salesman thing where they say someone else is willing to pay 500 more than you and I'm not a complete idiot, I've heard that many times before and people don't take a 400.00 hit out of kindness and I don't know many people who offer more than the asking price in the first place. The car was cute, but not thaaaat cute. The next day, the check engine comes on and all the bad reviews came back to me and I was so prepared for the worst, that I was sick to my stomach. Was put in contact with his younger brother George and after checking the code it was my Cat Converter and my power steering fluid was leaking. Had the power steering fixed that weekend and waited for the cat converter. and waited. and waited. By the time I called I was beyond the 30 days and asked if the part had come in and of course, it had. Went in to get it fixed and fully expected to be charged since it was now after 30 days and I was not! Just to be sure that the light hadn't simply been reset, I took it to my regular mechanic and the Cat Converter had been replaced with a new one, it wasn't a VW one, but a universal one, which my mechanic said is OK. While this wasn't perfect and smooth, my car checked out, is driving wonderfully and hasn't given me any problems since. If it does, I'll be sure to update my review!!!! Also, everyone, even if your contract says you have no warranty, every dealership has to give a minimum of 30 day warranty in RI :) **Update, was told my timing belt was replaced, when I took it to Han's in North Kingstown (BEST place), they showed me that it was loose and the original timing belt. Called up George and it is getting fixed in three days for me with no hassle or attitude! If you have a problem with a car bought from Sandy lane, talk to George directly if possible. So just read and reveal before you bash this company: While their demeanor is "rough edged" it's not without noting; they are a large producer of vehicles; they often have their lots full; and that's both sales and service. So for all these 1 star reviews; I think they are inadequate. They are customers who were expecting a Balise, Grieco, Flood dealership; not real understanding the current supply and demands. I recently purchased the Taurus PI on Monday 2/28/22. Sod I have possession yet... no, fortunately the inherent risk of faults in a used vehicle was identified prior to my vehicle leaving the lot. And they are willingly and without obligation fixing the vehicle. So will it take a few days; yeah, it's a timing chain (a known ford weakness). Now for people to bash this company is unfair; they aren't thief's or crooks; they are trying to mass sell lots of cars. Every used car has its prior quirks; may contain an issue or two. And for people to expect that they be selling cars with 100% no issues is unreliable to trust in. I bought a Jeep Patriot from Prestige Auto; and it had a bad CV... guess what; not Prestige's fault; it's an underlying risk of buying a used vehicle. MultiPoint Inspections mainly seek out immediate drivability and service issues (low oil, not the leak causing it, tire wear- replace if needed, legal levels of brake pads.) no used car dealer is gonna strip down and check every last inch of the vehicle from actuators to xeon headlamps. As a purchaser of a used car; it's is the Customers responsibility to know and understand what work may be needed to look for; their capacity to have it done; and the capacity of if it's worth adding the expense. Every car has a chance for failure; I've seen 2022 vehicles with dead batteries and pcms. I've seen 2002 vehicles running on original parts; it's not a story of its the dealers problem; it's a story of you're accepting the ownership and responsibility of a vehicle in used condition. You chose Sandy lane; not any of the dozens of other dealers; so stop blaming them; you had options and choices; so you made the conscious decision; no one else. As for their behavior; I'd be pissy too if I was fixing all the underlying issues customers demand. Again it's NOT Sandy Lanes fault; wholesale used car lots are littered with issues; but they're trying their best, for the most part at no cost to the customer. So they are very nice to your face. I was fooled. my car kept having the engine light go on. They'd fix it, days later the light would go back on. Taking me past the required 30 day implied warranty, seems they only "cleared the code". I returned after a visit to another mechanic, and a second opinion... I have to put a new engine in my car. I went to the dealer and found they no longer have a mechanic. Wouldn't have mattered since I was past the 30 days. I now have to spend $3500 on a car that cost $6500 for a new (USED) engine. I'm a retired Army NURSE who risked my life going around the world saving locals and babies and crap. Disabled now, little money and the last mechanic stated that because the car had new gaskets, that there was no way these dealers didn't know the engine was bad. I'm left in financial trouble and disgrace because of their selfishness. They never even called me back. read more

I read the other reviews on this place and thought maybe I'd have good luck even though most of the reviews were bad. DON'T BUY HERE. I bought a truck here and got it checked out by my own mechanic. Come to find out They replaced the motor and didn't tell me. I call Jacob and we get into this argument and he tells me to "shut the F up". He seemed very sketchy from the beginning. When you sit in his office you can't see his face, he throws in BS fees and numbers that you have no clue what they're for. The customer service is awful. They'll screw your anyway they can. Jacob left us waiting for 3 hours. He has his mother on the phone with us telling us "2 more minutes" the whole time while they have customers were here to see a vehicle. The Vehicle wouldn't start, battery was dead, starter was dead, exhaust is shot, 10 codes on inspector machine. The starter needed to be replaced right on the spot to even show the vehicle. JACOB wouldn't take a deposit instead of full price while repairs are being done (a lot of issues with their vehicles, i brought my inspector) they wanted half the price for down payment while fixing vehicle repairs to make it pass inspection (it was not going to pass inspection in RI) with no guarantee we would get our deposit back. Jacob Said it has a 30 day warranty and it would take a few weeks to fix in that time. No guarantee they would fix everything and would leave us with only a week left of warranty... terrible service. Take your business elsewhere! You've been warned! Believed Jacob to be fair and upfront. Truck was in fair condition, but price seemed mostly reasonable for an older model. So I elected for an outside vendor's extended warranty. Warranty company was legit, so I made the purchase, cash. Year later, major repair required, under warranty. Call the warranty company to ensure it will be covered, and then the floor drops under me. Warranty company tried collecting my payment from Jacob, never received it. So after months of collection efforts, they dropped my warranty. Worse, I was never notified. Worse still, I looked back at my paperwork and it was written up in a way to disclose the warranty separately from the official bill of sale. My lesson, never buying used from a small business again, and even if it's a legitimate warranty, as shady guys like Jacob will find a way to extort the money. It's a shame because guys like Jacob actually hurt small business in the end. I'm currently pursuing legal action to reclaim my losses, as well as reporting Sandy Lane auto to BBB. Leather seats, navigation system when they aren't any in the car. He lies on financing applications and loan documents, fakes customer signatures. This place is the very definition of a very very low end used car dealership. Unfortunately he perpetuates every negative car salesman stereotype out there. He should be used as a training model of how to be a sleazy used car salesman. We wanted a very specific make and model of car, that lead us, unfortunately, to needing to buy a car from Sandy Lane Auto. Not to be confused with Sandy Auto, which is an error that we made. We made the mistake of researching the car we wanted thoroughly, but skimped on researching the actual place we were buying it from. The moment we drove the car off the lot the check engine light came on. It took them two weeks to fix, only after a lot of nagging and badgering. Because of the COVID situation at the DMV we took them up on their offer to get the registration and plates from the DMV, thinking it would be easier. I am willing to pay a fair price for services offered, but asking them to get the plates from the DMV cost us an additional 15% of the car value. He couldn't explain how he came up with the actual number. When I asked for a written itemized list of charges he wasn't able to provide us with one. We were told his brother would call us back in two days with an itemized list. When I persisted in my request for a written receipt for charges I was roundly abused and called names and my boyfriend was berated for putting up with me. Overall a rude and unpleasant human being who made the car buying experience a lot worse than it is. We have filed an official complaint with BBB. I strongly recommended avoiding this place if you can. I do understand that there may be life circumstances that necessitate having to deal with this type of place. Unfortunately they are not trustworthy. So if you absolutely can't avoid dealing with them then please ask for everything in writing before you leave and take photos of everything. Jacob attempted to steal almost 5,000 dollars and apparently after reading these reviews he does this quite often. He used numbers on our loan application that were false A.K.A. Fraudulent. I signed the papers and later caught on after he spoke so quickly to try and dumb us down from understanding. This man and establishment are an embarrassment to car dealers and the reason for the stereotype. This man has absolutely no respect for woman he yelled in my face while pointing, lies and said I jumped on his desk and then threatened to call the police on ME. Sold me a 2004 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo full-time four wheel drive. we agreed to an alignment, a mirror needed to be replaced, a window needed to be fixed and a fog light was out. He replaced the mirror and made the window roll down. After I left the lot he dodged my calls. Never did the alignment and never replaced the fog light. Then I find out while replacing my "new" warped brake rotors, that I have a full time 4 wheel drive jeep with no front drive shaft. He stated that I was crazy for being mad, refused to make it right and blocked my phone number. I am contacting a lawyer, the inspections licensing board, the Better Business Bureau and the bank that my loan is through. I would advise anyone not to deal with this scam artist. read more

I purchased my SUV from Jacob in Feb. of 2017. when I first arrived to test drive vehicle's I was greeted with a lot of respect everybody was extremely friendly. I fell in love with the SUV that I did purchase from him being that that just so happened to be the 1st SUV that I drove. when test driving the SUV a I smelled an exhaust order inside of the car Jacob informed me that the car had been sitting for awhile without being started but I no better the smell was as if there was a problem some where, due to that answer to my concern I proceeded to leave the car lot even though I expressed a strong liking for the vehicle. Jacob contacted me by telephone a couple of days later he had the car checked over and found out that there was a broken hose on it an had it replaced as well as other issues I didn't no existed that weren't major repairs at all. I do want to add I am a female but I went with a friend to the dealership that was also a female and when we both test drove the vehicle we drove the hell out of it to check for noticeable problems. Also we stopped at a mechanics shop and had the car inspected for any major damage and nothing was found. The reason I'm saying this is I've read through other reviews on here with ppl having so many bad experience's because they were not mechanic and purchased vehicle that had major problems and honestly I don't no what to believe because who in this world is dump enough to buy an unsafe vehicle and stick there kids in it by only taking the persons advice that is selling it to them that the vehicle is a safe vehicle, I believe in a situation like that u get what u deserve. To get back to topic I returned back to the dealership to purchase the vehicle and it was the most easiest buying experience of a life time Jacobs receptionist told me ways to use the vehicle financing to help build my credit considering that was what I wanted to do it the 1st place. I bought a vehicle from them, my warning should have been the owner telling me a lady was crazy coming in with her engine light always on every day and wanted it fixed, it got to the point where she had to bring her father in. They do not have sales people to assist in giving you the information of a vehicle(s) you are interested in, a young receptionist comes out, who does not know a thing. I bought a vehicle that I thought was reliable but had to bring it back a few times after driving it on the highway before the lemon law expired. The door handle broke off several times while opening the door and the automatic window buttons kept falling through the door plus other issues. The owner was not nice about it and I had to remind him of the 'lemon law'. The second time I walked in as when I hit a bump the car jumped three lanes over on the highway and the young receptionist yelled down the hall, "hey, your favorite customer is here". I made them take it for a drive as it was not driving right, so they had the mechanic come out (his young brother), took it for a ride, acknowledge the issues to me but didn't want to acknowledge it was bad enough and basically did tell me b/c he didn't want the owner (his brother) to think he wasn't doing his job. They also did not register my car after giving them a check to do so (as I purchased the car in cash) and my temp plate had expired. They kept me hanging on for two weeks before they did. I went in and let them know as I had to drive to NY for work and was first told in one sentence, they sent the girl to the registry and she only got one car registered out of six, which I know when a car dealership registers your car, DMV will not only take one purchase and register it, when I voiced my opinion the story changed to "what do you want me to do" my runner is on vacation. So what is the real story - Ummmm, don't know how to run a business would be my guess. The owners mouth was not acceptable either (sailors mouth) and then offered me another car but with the condition he would give me half my money back, the other half would go on a loan they push you to take out AND stated if I wanted the car I HAD to purchase the warranty (so basically saying, tired of dealing with the crap car I sold so if I had a warranty, they wouldn't have to pay themselves to fix it). VERY VERY unprofessional and ALL their cars are just the best deal they will tell you, even to the extent where they have friends hanging outside there on their phones texting and laughing (this was summer time) and they will walk over and tell you, "this car is perfect, you would look good in it. They band-aided my car and the issues came back. So know I am with a very reliable mechanic. I understand I wasn't getting a car that would drive like it was a 2014 brand new car but I thought they would take into consideration the safety of their vehicles. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone unless they take classes on how to run a car dealership and run it to the proper procedure, get qualified sales people who can answer your questions with knowledge or cars. BEWARE THIS DEALER IS A SCAM ARTIST!!!!!! I Purchased a 2003 Acura 3.2 TL from this joke of a dealership for my mother, BIG MISTAKE!! This car has had nothing but issues from day one and after bringing it to Acura of Warwick for a full safety inspection I was flawed at what this dealer had pulled. The sub frame was rotted, The radiator was leaking, front and side motor mounts were broken, broken rear sway bar links, a bad battery and alternator leaving her stuck on the side of the road, oil leaks at the oil pan and oil pump behind the timing housing, four blown wheel bearings, and rotted fuel as well as break lines. The dealer Jacob is a complete crook and his brother who "Safety Inspects" or lack thereof the vehicles sold at this dealership at RI Inspection Station #453, Stop and Gas 929 Providence street West Warwick RI 02893 merely slaps stickers on junk vehicles that would otherwise NEVER pass Inspection. When my mother picked up the vehicle the emergency brake wasn't working, one day later the Check Engine light came on due to the rotted fuel lines. Only one headlight was working due to an electrical issue which was supposed to be fixed prior to inspection as well as melted wires going to the blower under the dashboard resulting in complete failure of the Air Condition and Heat system which had I not been mechanically inclined enough to figure out would've resulted in the car catching fire. Furthermore she was mislead in being told when signing the sales contract that the vehicle would covered under a 30 day warranty and that the mechanical issues would be fixed before the Inspection was performed, however this was not the case at all. Jacob also defrauded the finance company by stating on the sales contract that the Acura TL we purchased was a type S with Navigation which was a lie considering this TL was the base model not the top of the line S model he listed to the finance company, he did so in order to gain more funding as the value of the model he lied about is much higher than the base model we had purchased. The lies and fraud didn't stop there! He was given two checks to hold the Acura in lieu of cash until the next day when he was given the $1,200 cash as requested for the deposit on the vehicle. Jacob then only returned one of the checks for $700.00 and stated that the other $500.00 check would be returned when he registered the Acura. Instead when my mothers temporary plate expired Jacob refused to furnish the registration and plates and stated that he was owed the money he lost because my mother informed the finance company that he had lied about the Model of Acura she had purchased costing him $400.00 in loss. The $1,200 cash deposit on the Acura that was told to both my mother and I was being applied to the principle of the loan in order to gain financing for said vehicle was actually another tactic of Jacobs in order to sneakily jack up the profit and sale price of the Acura. The Warwick Police were then notified and a formal complaint has been filed with the Rhode Island Dealers Commission. Jacob presented said $500.00 check to the RI DMV in attempt to keep the cash he was given for himself resulting in a bounced check and suspension notice ordered from RI Operator control. I had to essentially pay $525.00 to the DMV for his little fraudulent escapade in order to save my mother who is disabled mind you, from loosing her drivers license and registration. Jacob and his dealership are now under investigation with the RI Dealers Commission and I strongly urge anyone who has fell victim to his lies and deception to file a formal complaint as well at the RI DMV Dealers licensing and Enforcement Division nearest you! read more

We brought the car back to Sandy Lane Auto and Repair they couldn't fix it, they caused more problems and then blamed us for damage to pistons and rocker arms which their own mechanic said was not possible. Then after the mechanic stated the owner was wrong the owner would not stand behind the vehicle we bought from them. I would never recommend Sandy Lane Auto and Repair to anyone. Beware**Worst experience I ever had purchasing a car. In September I purchased an SUV was quoted one price with a 30day warranty and he changed the price and then lied said he never gave me a warranty. My drivers side mirror was broken and CD player and some heat vents... He promised to fix those issues but would take a few days. Well... I only had car 3 days and when letting up on gas the vehicle pulled to the left then I could not straighten steering wheel and there was a very loud humming when we went on the highway. He took the car for 3 days to fix all 6 problems. His hack brother only fixed 3 they glued a mirror over the cracked one and gouged the dash getting CD player out. All driving and safety issues never fixed. I drove right back. Jacob screams at me it's not his f'ing problem go see town fair tire. So I do and they never even looked at my car. Jacob but 3 different tires on my SUV and said I didnt need matching tires. While he was fixing my car he gave me a loaner nasty disgusting car loaded with so much dog hair my kids were crying and almost getting sick. I got a complete inspection at Acura and they found seven safety issues wrong with my car still within thirty days of purchase but Jacob said not his problem my problem all while swearing saying I don't know who you think your dealing with your F'ing husband. I filed a complaint with Dealer Commission at dmv then had to bring my car to Safety Emmision in Providence. The car was so bad they were going to revoke my registration if not fixed in five days. He was forced to buy the unsafe car back. One week before bringing it back cadyltic converter broke. Then the day I took to dealer my bearings went in back. My break lines and body frame were so rotted. I was told by everyone.... Acura.. Town Fair tire.. My mechanic.. DMV that this vehicle should never ever have been on the road. I have 2 small children and we could of died. His hack brother who owns stop and gas in West Warwick was the one who put the inspection sticker on in July 2014. Well now he has his unsafe piece of crap car I got my money back refund..... But wait I'm not done..... I still can't get another car right now because he is stalling taking his time paying off loan with bank. His brother Joseph grabbed me and pushed me also one day in the office. He also tried keeping my old plates to my trade in which he was supposed to transfer over. I had to make a police report on them. Police and I only could recover one plate from him. He still has one of my plates. I did cancel them too though. Oh and it took him two months to give me my registration and plates for new car. I bought a bmw from this dealership. The day after I bought it the car started smoking. I took it to my mechanic it had several problems. One of the oil leaks was dangerously close to causing a fire. I immediately brought the car back to Jacob so he could fix it. He started screaming and swearing at me. I told him there was no need to treat me in that manner. He then started to threaten me. He told me that he was doing nothing and to fight him in court. I went to the dealers commission the following day. No surprise they knew him and his dealership by name. I had to obtain a lawyer and bring the car to the state emission board. Only to find out that he did several illegal things and is about to lose his dealers license. He had his brother at stop and gas in West Warwick illegal inspect the bmw. He also uses out of state finance companies ( state line auto) and ( gateway one lending) he is rude does not care about his customers and physically threatens them. My lawyer and the dealers commission had to force him to fix the safety issues on my car. Please be careful even thinking about going there her will screw you and put you in a unsafe vehicle. I recently financed a vehicle from them about 6 months ago! It's a complete POS. The day I left the lot with it I went straight to work. When I left work the check engine light came on, I immediately went back there and Jacob told me it was because of my gas cap (bullshit). I went to AutoZone and plug it in, the code came back it was the catalytic converter. I then called and let them know and he told me he couldn't fix it for a few weeks. 3 weeks later after continuously calling once a week he finally took it in. It then took him OVER A MONTH to get my truck fixed all the while I'm driving around in yet another POS loaner car he had given me with 199,xxx miles no paperwork and then plates off my truck...smh. When I finally picked up my truck I pulled off the lot and two minutes down the road the f*ckin check engine light came back on! I once again turned around and brought it back only to have to sit there with my two young children for over an hour for them to "fix" the problem! Oh and on top of that he screwed the warranty company... 3 months later the end of my exhaust pipe was so rusted that it broke. Now I can smell the exhaust fumes inside the truck. Again I go to the lot and talked to Jacob, he tells me he can't do anything right now I have to wait, but it's safe to drive! Uhm....no sorry, it's not at all safe for my 3 and 4year old to be in a vehicle with exhaust fumes pouring in it as I drive. None the less after harassing him for 3 days he finally tells me to take it to his brothers shop and of course the hackers just weld the rusted pipe back on! Now five months later theres an antifreeze leak and it's pretty bad but he's refusing to fix it! The pr*ck flat out told me he doesn't give a fuxk it's my problem now the bank paid him so if I don't pay for it the bank will just come get it. I do not recommend anyone go to this place! WORST PLACE EVER DONT EVEN BOTHER !! I have been dealing with this place for a month now trying to get my money back on a refund. The owner Jacob is RUDE IGNORANT & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. He claims that money should be in my account because it got taken out of his... but its not the receipts he provides me with clearly state that their EFT machine is OFFLINE. Every time I try to resolve this problem there is a story. The guy Fred is nice he tried to help but this other man Jacob gets on the phone and screams at me for no reason telling me to be patient. after reading the reviews, i find that some people are honest and other people i think have their own motives, good and bad..not all but some. i can only tell you about my own experience at sandy lane auto. Jacob. in my opinion is a regular guy trying to make a living..hes a used car salesman..thats his job. to me, he was honest and straight up. i needed tires, although he wouldnt give them away, he found a dealer, set up an appointment and got me a better deal than if i went myself being from massachusetts, our times always didnt always " jive" but he met at my convience. i got there early and met his mother while i was waiting. a nice woman, after speaking with her i realized she had the " old fashion" values. she had no idea who i was or why i was there. jacob even called me a week later to see if i had any problems after waiting a month to post this, to make sure i had no problems, i wanted to give my opinion. i would personally recomend this place to anyone without hesitation. i have not been asked to write this nor do i have anything to gain from this. i have no horse in this race just being honest...Romeo read more

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. I started out purchasing the car and not being able to receive it for 2 to 3 weeks! after getting the runaround telling me the engine had a problem and he was fixing it and giving me every excuse in the book what ended up happening was the engine was shot! he lied to me told me I was irritating for calling him up asking where my car was and definitely did not care about any of my concerns! after I did receive the car finally it had many issues check engine light came on, extreme oil leak, he was telling me he replace the engine and would not give me any confirmation on how many miles were on the new engine. promised me many things to fix on the exterior never fix them at all. Trying to get the oil leak fixed and the check engine light fixed which is an evap code for the gas tank, I am right to voicemail every single time cannot get through to them no matter how many times I call! so now I am forced to go to the Rhode Island DMV and file a complaint. the guy was very rude his name is Jacob , Fred who is a salesman is a very nice guy I don't think he has much control on what goes on there he does his best I think. so if anybody is considering buying a car here thank you again buyer beware this is a terrible place he will take your money very fast, stay away if at all possible do not even walk on the lot. if anybody ever has any questions I'll be more than happy to help. read more

Terrible experience! We agreed on a price then they said the bank just wanted me to put down an extra couple hundred dollars. I said fine but when the finance paperwork came in it was for the orignal amount i said i wanted to put down. I just figured it was not needed then when they got the truck regestered they said i owed an extra $700 and when i refused to pay it Jacob threw a fit like a 2 year old and stormed out refusing to give me the paperwork for the car. Everything that came out of their mouths was a lie and the amount of what we agreed on plus the extra comes out to the orignal price of the vehicle. I purchased a truck here at Sandy Lane Auto. Buying the truck was painless and easy. He gave me the deal I asked for and the truck was inspected and ready the next day. Then things went bad. After about 5 days the check engine light started to blink and the engine ran very rough. I took it back to Sandy Lane since I had a 30 day warranty on the engine and transmission. He told me to take it to his brothers gas station in West Warwick so I did. It sat there for several days until I called and he said it was an ignition coil. Then after a few more days of hearing nothing I called back and was told it was a bad computer and would cost between 300 and 500 dollars but it would have a lifetime warranty. Even though its under warranty its not considered part of the engine so I would have to pay but the labor would be taken care of. Turns out he was having the old computer refurbished because when he got it back it still did not work so he got a rebuilt one. I looked it up and they go for 2-3 hundred dollars online so I didn't expect it to be more than that. After 3 WEEKS he finally said it would be ready. I picked it up and he charged me over $500.00 for a part I could have got for $200 or $300. All he gave me was a cash register receipt. No slip saying what he did or anything. If the computer fails where and I supposed to get this lifetime warranty from? So for the 30 days it was under warranty I had the car less than a week and they had it for 3 weeks. Now the killer. After 3 days of being fixed the check engine light comes on with 2 codes. If you buy a car here say a prayer and hope you never need to have them fix it. read more

Please avoid this place at all cost. I purchased an SUV from this dealer in February 2015. A few days later I heard a grinding sound coming from my rear tires while I was driving. I called the owner and he told me he would have it fixed. I brought the vehicle to the lot and he said it would be ready in three hours. That was fine. Nine hours later I still hadn't heard from them so I gave them a call. No it still wasn't ready. Once again no problem. Two days later I take a drive down there to see if they were done yet, the owner apologized for not calling me, he had been very busy. He told me it wasn't the rear wheel bearings like I had thought but that his mechanics had cleaned them. He said the vehicle was fine. I thanked him and left, seeing as arguing with him was going to get me nowhere. Sure enough the grinding was still there as I drove away. I made an appointment at my mechanic for them to look at it and I need to have both rear wheel bears replaced. So long story short im out $780. I really wish I had read the review here before I had bought it because the other girl is right, after looking at my paperwork I noticed that he never gave me a warranty after I had specificly asked about it and he assured me there was one. read more

The worse experience in my life. I bought a car from this joint. The car was delivered to me by a person who doesn't work for the dealership. Upon delivery of this car the engine light was on and the car was not running right .. skipping and sputtering all over the place. I immediately called Jacob the salesman, He was very rude from the very beginning. He finally told me to bring it to a nearby shop and he would pay to the repair. I went outside to start the vehicle to bring it to the shop and it would not start.. Jacob myself and the repair shop knew at that point it was a secondary issue to the original problem. I called AAA and they towed it to the shop. Jacob and the shop were in contact. Jacob became belligerent to the shop own owner and asked him to keep the car for 2 weeks.. Obviously Jacob was trying to let any mandated warrantee by the state to expire. The repair shop denied his request and fixed the starter but wanted no part of diagnosing any other issue due to Jacobs attitude. I recently went to have the car inspected for the sticker and it was rejected. Every time I attempted to reach Jacob he would yell and swear and not allow me to talk to the Owner. Jacob finally blocked my calls and any other number I would call from. I had to write to the DMV Dealer Licensing board and the BBB I also have to file a complaint in the WARWICK RI Police Department. Jacob has threatened me numerous times. The issue is not yet resolved but I will update the outcome upon the results of the DMV Licensing board and the police department as well.m read more

This Dealer and associated repair shop in West Warwick (stop & Go) should be shut down! First they were on West Shore Rd, in Warwick where we purchased a car. The vehicle didn't come with ANY kind of warranty, None. The salesman told us that for the price, no one would give a warranty. Fine. We purchased the car as a run around the area car. No long trips. The car was a literal piece of junk and a hazard. It had to go back to the repair shop 6 times within 4 months for one reason or another. Because there was no warranty, we paid half of the repairs but that was only because my husband was ready to postal. We gave them a second chance when they offered to refund our money in exchange for a different vehicle. The second vehicle cost more but they refunded us the price of the first one so we thought they were at least making a fair effort. The second vehicle was slightly better than the first only in that it came with a warranty. George is just plain rude. He promises the car for one day and 3 days later it's a song and a dance about why the car isn't ready. He would rather you keep the crap car than fix it under warranty because he isn't getting paid right away with warranty vehicles. Rude, ignorant, obnoxious and arrogant!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never go back there and i caution ANYone else about purchasing a vehicle from them! They are nothing but trouble.
