I've only eaten here once. The food wasn't bad, I'd say it was about average. My real problem comes from 2 things. 1. No credit cards. Sorry, but in this day and age I don't often carry cash. You don't take cc I'm not eating there. 2. The counter was plastered with "do not" do this or that signs. I mean, sure customers can be inconsiderate jerks but in a service business to be willing to do that, I felt downright unwelcome in the place. I LOVE this place!! I moved about 8 years ago from Lakehurst, NJ to Florence, NJ and I completely MISS this place. It felt like home. The food is okay, have been there several times for breakfast, always busy. the parking lot is always full. What I don't like are the many knick knacks hanging from the walls and the ceiling, "dust catchers". If not for that. would probably go more often for breakfast, also the staff is overly "familiar" with the patrons, but in fairness they serve a large population of senior citizens and seniors tend to like being doted over. By "familiar" I mean that on a few occasions, the servers will come over and start a conversation or keep and eye on how much or how little you are eating and remarking on it. whether they know you or not ! Sandy's cozy corner is the perfect name for this great little restaraunt. I have eaten here numerous times and it is by far, my top choice among any diner or big name breakfast spot near ot far. Im so happy that its in my town! What a great spot to come after church on Sunday or any day for that matter to enjoy the company of family and friends in a literrally, cozy environment that has amazing service and food. Breakfast is my favorite thing to get here but the menu is extremely diverse. They have it all and it's ALL AWESOME. I love this place. The food is homemade and delicious, the atmosphere is cozy & comfortable and the staff is friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. My wife and I both had "Sandy's Favorite Salad" (spinach, mandarin orange slices, walnuts and cranberries with a lime dressing! Her's was topped with fried chicken pieces, mine with jumbo (and man were they ever) shrimp. We topped it off with a cup of cream of potato and bacon soup for the perfect light lunch. We've also been there for breakfast and it's always been delightful. Sunday mornings are tricky as the after-church crowd loves it there too so timing your arrival is helpful although we've never had to wait more than a few minutes at most for a table. For the musically inclined Sandy's also offers karaoke and entertainment on the weekends. If you're in the area I highly recommend checking it out. You won't be disappointed! read more

Just got back from lunch with wife and neighbor. Sandy's Cozy Corner is terrific. The food was fresh and plentiful. The service was great! It's been quite a while since I've had a Bison Burger, and I was not disappointed. Extremely succulent and sweet. I put their side slaw on the burger with the tomato. It didn't need anything else! Tasty! My wife has the Turkey Club. Loved it, and had to bring half of it home. My neighbor has the Turkey sandwich on toasted rye bread, and gobbled it down (sorry for the pun ... LOL). Everyone there was so friendly. The decore was unique and interesting. They created some kind of tree in the midst of everything that adds ambiance to the place. Very nice! I would certainly recommend this place to anyone. Sunday to Thursday they are open till 3pm. Fri, Sat, Sun they are 7pm. Well worth it! read more

Cozy is the best adjective for this hole-in-the-wall neighborhood cafe. Very friendly staff; food is ok; prices are reasonable. The hours of operation are confusing- they're mostly open for breakfast and lunch. I think they're only open for dinner on thursday through Sunday. They have "entertainment" some nights. I've been going there 2-3 times a week for the past six months; I feel like family. Note: if you ask for a toasted muffin, expect it to be cut wrong!?! read more
