I went in on my lunch time and Sona threaded my face. I was nervous because I only trust one place with my eyebrow. Sona took me to her chair and made me feel at ease immediately. Came here with high expectations because of the yelp reviews. When I showed up the place was packed with people. I wrote down that I only wanted my eyebrows done. Idk who it was because they don't wear name tags but the lady who did my brows was really quick with her service. I hate it when the ladies try to pressure you to do other services. I told her maybe 3 times that I didn't want to do anything else. I tried to use the yelp check-in deal and when I showed her on my phone that I had checked in she closed it and then she didn't want to honor it because she couldn't see it. What I loved was that the lady who did my eyebrows was so attentive, she listened to what I had to say. Yesterday was my first visit with Sandy. I am very particular about the thickness and shape of my eyebrows. Sandy immediately identified that one of my eyebrows was slightly thinner than the other. I absolutely LOVE this place; I've been a regular for about 7 years and this review is long overdue. I haven't even lived in Tustin for the past 5 years, but I make it a point to stop here whenever I'm in town. I simply haven't found a better threading place and don't trust anyone else with my brows. Everyone that works here is so kind and very skilled at what they do. And they throw in a mini facial massage at the end of each session that alleviates any sort of pain or sting that accompanies threading. I walked in at lunch time today and she welcomed me with a big, warm smile. Asked me how I heard about the place and I stuttered that one of my friends told me about it and said for every 3 friends I bring in, I get one free service, which (I'm not sure about which type specifically). So since I heard about her place from Yelp, I will pick one person at random and tell her the next time I'm there. She threads my brows to a natural shape that isn't too thin and I totally love it. I'm one that goes every 8-10 weeks, which is way too long, in my opinion. Now that I've found a place much closer to home than Riverside, I'll be sure to go here more often to keep my brows in check, haha! After the threading, she'll also clip some long brow hairs and then use lotion to massage your eyebrows and give you a sample of her scalp treatment. I was very loyal to a place in Costa Mesa before, but they kept raising the prices and the last 3 times I went, they really messed up my brows. I let my brows grow out for about 3 months and decided to try this place. Everybody is very nice, and when I first sat down, the lady helping me gave me a mirror and talked me through some options we could do for my brows. She could tell how the other place had messed up my right brow, so she was really nice about telling me what she can do to fix it. When she started working on my brows, I was so surprised at how gentle she was. It really made the experience more bearable!! And once she was done, she gave me a mirror to ask for any changes before she started trimming. I asked her to leave my brows thicker for me to fill in myself, and she did exactly what I asked. So I just wanted to give a little update since it has been a while since the initial review (a year already!). I upped my rating to five stars since it seems that most of the kinks have been ironed out and that "awkwardness" that I spoke of previously no longer seems to be present...at least in my experience. I highly recommend going here. The wait is always really short (although I usually go on weekday afternoons). Another thing that is great about Sandy's is the little brow and temple massage at the end. Her work is really good. I have trouble trusting anyone else with my brows! Sandy's threading has been my DAY 1. My first time doing my eyebrows I waxed them at a nail salon, then got introduced to Sandy's Threading through a friend that spoke very highly about the place. I have been going to them for YEARS and they have yet to disappoint with quality and service. I always go to my girl Rey who pays close attention to detail and even goes back to get that one little hair that others might ignore. If she's not there my 2nd go to is Sandy, which is also great. I alternate with them 2 because I don't trust any other place with my eyebrows (I'm sure the other ladies here are good too!). I've been threading my eyebrows for over 10 years. My skin is super sensitive, so I usually get red and swollen for an hour after threading. I found Sandy's on Yelp. The staff were really friendly and nice. I was seen immediately even as a walk-in. Rey checked to make sure I was happy with one side before continue. After finishing, Rey gave me an awesome brow massage with aloe gel. For the first time ever, I didn't swell up and turn red! I'm guessing it was a combo of the aloe gel and massage. Just had an amazing experience! I have been to so many threading places but apparently I was missing out a lot! I passed by the store and went in after their business hours, but they took me in generously. I wasn't expecting them taking me in because it was after hours, but they were so kind and friendly to give me the threading session. When I was sitting down the lady wiped down the seat with water and picked up a USED piece of paper towel and STILL put the paper aside to reuse in the future. DISGUSTING AND FOUL knowing we are in a pandemic and she's reusing paper towels. Aside from them being dirty they permit people to get service with no mask they are face over the customers theirs no way their risking catching COVID And spreading it around. read more

I've been coming for a while and I've never gotten a great eyebrow threading, but never gotten a bad threading until now. This is the worst I've ever gotten at any shop. I asked for high arch, and the person asked if I wanted a Hide Arch, I was like no no no. I had to explain high arch. The right brow doesn't look like the left brow either. The left literally has a hook in the shape. What the hell. After she was done too, she proceeded to give a scalp massage messing up my just styled hair from an hour before. These ladies are now open! I've been going here since i was old enough to get my brows done. They are amazing! They're polite, respectful, and gentle. I recently have been getting waxed and facials here too. I go to ashu for everything. She's super gentle and takes really good care of me. They do have good prices as well. As far as safety, they use their necks instead of their mouths. They wear gloves, masks and gowns and also have a sink to wash your hands and hand sanitizer. Overall they are a good business.
