Use to be my favorite places in town. Food is great, but services has gone downhill last few visit. I was excited to take my friend who is from North Daktoa. Family and I got seated quickly. Order drinks and waited close to an hour for a food no big deal we were busy catching up. During the wait we never saw our waitress Liz. Food came out and stuff was missing from kids meal, and 2 adult entries. The waitress that brought it out corrected it. About 4 bites into my food I noticed 2 long white hair immediately got the waitress attention. She looked at me, and finally said she would take it back. Asked if I wanted another order I said no due to the wait. She said nothing! No apologize until my friend said hey we can split my burger! Waitress said okay and my friend asked for another plate that was another 10 minute wait! She came with the plate and offer a side. I said yes for fries. It was another wait. Finally everyone had eaten and we waited about another 15 minutes for our waitress when we spotted our waitress and asked for our check. They did however take off the meal that had the hair in it. Not once did she check on us during the visit. We eat here often and notice the services has been on and off lately and doesn't seem like the cooks are all on the same page on what goes on the meal as well. read more

Service was good and reasonable quick for it being lunch time. Had the Cajun Garlic Blu Burger, soooo good even though my coworker might not of appreciated it afterwards. I'm going to assume management reads the reviews and makes changes because 2 1/2 stars shocks me and I'm glad we took the chance for lunch. I tried to think what improvements could be made if I gave it a four but just couldn't come up with anything so I had to give it a 5! Everything outside caught my eye and made me smile! I knew we had to eat there! Inside was even more fun with so much to look at! We were seated immediately. The menu is fun and amazing. The hostess, server and manager were all super nice! The food came out quick, hot and delicious! Yes, the prices seem high and they are but for the amount of food you get it's spot on! Looking forward to my leftovers for dinner! Unimpressive generic menu and horrible service!!!! The waitress was either painfully hungover or just plain out rude. I'm not sure if the other workers are the same way, but the reviews here seem to suggest that they are. She took forever to seat us being there. (I went in today and it's Tuesday! It was nearly empty when I went it around 1 o'clock) She didn't smile or make eye contact, or greet us when we came in. I can't understand why the restaurant keeps someone who dreads being there that much. When she brought out our waters she had her thumb inside the cup. Then we found a bug swimming in the water. That was it for us. We told the waitress and got the hell out of there. So I don't know if the food is overpriced, but I can tell you that it is expensive. If you don't like being treated like a nuisance and if you don't like questioning the sanitary or service/ food you get, I suggest you go to another restaurant. read more

I left with out eating yet again due to poor service. 11:45 am and the bartender never acknowledged I was there. Just continued to visit with another customer and staff member and watch the football game. At least when I was last there a month ago I managed a drink! The food is great there but the service been so poor the last few times I have been there I likely wont be back.... in the interest of fair disclosure the restaurant tracked me down and apologized and explained circumstances of situation. Was on a shopping trip in Casper. We went a little longer then planned and tried to get a table at 8:00 pm on a weekday. Yes they close at 9, but we only wanted appetizers. The server was ok, even though he did not get all of our orders inputed into the order system. So half of the family got food 20 min before the other half and the burgers were so over cooked they were like eating a boot. Additionally, Wyoming does not have much Covid 19, but if they want to keep it that way, the restaurant staff should practice social distancing, especially since the do not have the staff use any kind of face mask. This place is not only tons of fun, the portions are immense and the servers are the friendliest, most helpful I've ever met. We mentioned we'd never been there before and my husband and I were both going to order salads. The server warned us that they were huge and came out on full cookie sheets so we decided to share just one. They split the salad for us at no extra charge. That was a nice surprise. The salad had all the veggies in the produce drawer! Radishes, cabbage, romaine lettuce, carrots, red and green peppers and even broccoli! Neither of us could finish our half and we had been hungry when we got there. They have a nice selection of local beer and some crazy cool sodas to try. The fried green bean appetizer was to die for and so big it's worth the price. They are totally addicting. Every where you look there's something interesting from cool old cars hanging the rafters to neat old advertising signs. Definitely worth a stop. read more

I've been here twice. The first time the service wasn't great, but I didn't think it was horrible. I got a southern style chicken sandwich which was really good (they serve southern fare here). I also ordered the onion rings, which weren't really rings, but onion fries sort of things. They weren't so good, especially for the amount of fat I am sure I was inhaling. The second time I ordered their southern style chicken ceaser salad. Which I was not impressed with at all. The chicken was super dry and there was barely any dressing. But the service was very good that time. Overall, I'd recommend checking a Sanford's out if you are in the SE corner of Wyoming (they have like 10 locations). Mostly for the 10 foot tall Bugs Bunny and the cool interior decorations. read more

Oh what a kitschy tourist trap. We had a blast wandering around the parking lot taking photos with the kids. Probably should have gotten in the car afterwards and went to eat elsewhere, but we did go in. The server seemed overworked. I guess there was a rodeo in town so it was pretty busy. The server then deemed it appropriate to enlighten us on how he needed to do all these things himself for his guests, including making the dessert we ordered (which was awful). Not sure why he thought we cared about his long story on workload? Perhaps it was an excuse for being inattentive, or perhaps he thought it would nab him a bigger tip if we knew there was ALL this work behind the scenes. Whatever... The menu here is huge with tons of fun things to smile at and drool over the descriptions of. I had a hard time choosing (no surprise... I can barely choose which socks to wear in the morning)... but as usual I likely ordered the wrong thing. Or maybe I didn't, perhaps everything on the menu is just as mediocre. I visited the Sanford's on the east side of Casper with my brother. We ordered the onion rings as a starter - they come out not as rings, but as a loaf of fried breaded onion strips. They are accompanied by a salad dressing that complemented the taste of the strips. When I say loaf, I mean as in a whole loaf of bread. This may be the correct portion for a table of 6, but not for just two diners. I had the chicken Caesar salad, and unlike other reviewers, I felt the chicken was very moist and tasty, not dried out at all. My only criticism was that the Caesar dressing was lathered on pretty heavily. Next time I'd order it on the side so I could control how much was applied. The decor is interesting. All kinds of automotive and aviation artifacts hung from the ceiling, attached to the walls, and partially buried outside. It must have taken months to get all this stuff positioned. I talked with a person at the UPS Store about it, and we agreed that they must spend quite a bit of time keeping all this stuff so clean since you can't find dust anywhere. This is my first time ever coming to this restaurant, and likely my last. My husband is a truck driver and we always love finding new places to try. Since this is next door to the truck stop here in Casper, it's a welcome change from fast food and Denny's. All of the movie props and decor, inside and outside, we're awesome and eclectic, almost reminds me of Quaker Steak and Lube. However, there's a few things that made our experience memorable in a not so good way. We ordered the cajun queso and chips, but when it came out, there was a total of 21 chips on the huge plate they gave us. We told the server and she was so awesome and agreed to take it off of our bill. Honestly, she was the best part about this place. Anyway, we both got sandwiches and fries for our entrees. The cajun fries were crispy and delicious, but the seasoning becomes a bit overpowering after a while. I got a chicken sandwich on giant sourdough bread, but there was twice as much bread as there was chicken, but the flavor was decent. I had rather high hopes for this place not being a huge chain, but sometimes it's better to go with chains since you know what to expect. read more

Kids loved it! I hated it, was very expensive and so-so food. My fried Okra was the best food item. My kids liked the over the top ambiance and road sign size menus, which I hated because it seemed like we almost spilled the water two or three times with them in the way. Went here on a slow early Tuesday evening and it was pretty good! We ordered the calamari and chicken fried steak to share for two and it was so big we had to take a lot of it home to eat the next day! My favorite thing is that they have Shock Top Raspberry on tap and it made the restaurant that much better..... The waitress was okay we didn't see her much but we were taken care of throughout our visit! I've been here about 6 times in the last 3 years, and the food is below average. We keep trying them in hopes it will improve but we've been disappointed. The scenery is fun and entertaining, but the fun stops with the scenery. I've tried several burger options and the steak finger basket. It's hard to mess up a burger but it can be done here. Wow...when we saw the prices, we expected this place to blow our socks off. My husband tried the chicken fried steak and I ordered the "southern fried catfish." Having moved here recently from the south, we probably should have known better than to order "southern" dishes. Well, they don't skimp on portions, that's for sure. The hubby was served TWO entire steaks plus sides...a LOT of food. He said his was okay, but not great. As for my catfish, it was the furthest thing from "southern fried" as you can get! It was battered and fried until chocolate brown rather than cornmeal breaded and golden. Bleh.
