My experience with Mr. Sang was phenomenal! He provided services to me and my boyfriend for hair and makeup. He has a very gentle demeanor and was very communicative throughout the whole process. He made sure that we were satisfied with the end result and even provided suggestions on how to improve the look I was going for, so that it matched my face more. He is very attentive detail. My face is not the most symmetrical so my eyebrows aren't exactly the same shape unfortunately. He was able to fix them so that they looked more similar. Not only was he incredibly kind and easy to work with, but his pricing was also transparent and reasonable. It was also a huge plus that he has his own studio and offers on-site travel for brides who need that flexibility. On the day of my wedding dinner party, I visited his studio for my mom's, mother-in-law's, and my own makeup and hair. He made sure to send us all a schedule a few days prior to ensure we were all on the same page and even accommodated any requests we had to switch times. Sang also provided very detailed instructions on where his studio is located and where to park, so we wouldn't be confused on an already busy day. Thank you to Sang Park for giving me a great experience getting my makeup and hair done! I was looking to get professional makeup done for a photoshoot and I was a little lost. So, with very little knowledge, I researched a few MUA and went with Sang. He is super responsive via text. He does get booked up pretty quickly, so I would definitely try to book in advance (I sent one of my friends who was looking for an engagement photo makeup his way and unfortunately he was booked). I also appreciate his flexibility. I actually had another date booked with him last year, but due to rain, I had to cancel last minute and he was very understanding. So, I really, really appreciated the flexibility during a stressful time. If possible and/or needed, I would definitely opt for a trial. I actually went with a trial because I had no idea what I wanted and it was very informative for me. I was able to see how my makeup would settle during the day and make any adjustments for the actual day. I eventually settled for a more natural look, which I really liked. However, if you are looking for a specific look/hair, I would definitely do some research and send it over to him beforehand. On the day of the event, I had a few months to think about it, I made a few adjustment on my hair and I was ready to go. As an added plus, it was HOT the day I was doing the photoshoot and my makeup pretty much stayed in tact all day long, which was good because I forgot to bring my makeup bag for touchup. Let me tell you that it is hard to find someone who can do clean and natural makeup in this city without looking like everybody else! I needed a headshot for my medical residency ERAS application, and as someone who rarely wears makeup and prefers a natural look, I struggled to find a professional photographer.
