After one too many items got ruined, I'm done. Clothes wear out and I was very forgiving with not placing blame. However, when an item was destroyed and Sang Q didn't tell me (it was obvious, my dress was completely shredded). AND, there was no responsibility on their part, nor apology. The worse place to get your clothes washed and pressed. Especially if you ask for the SAME DAY SERVICE, which they offer. They don't wash your clothes, they just iron it. & the lady who is there in the afternoon has such an attitude and is never happy. She always has a bitter and sour face. Worse place EVER! FELL IN LOVE THIS PLACE! I would go to them and say "Sang Q so much!" Hahaha just kidding. But seriously though. I went to get a maxi skirt altered so that it would be 25". Mine was even more work. Instead of cutting from the bottom, I requested for it to be cut from the top and move the elastic garter lower. I was a little nervous for the results.. But THEY NAILED IT! Very disappointing. I only write reviews on stores that I am: a) very happy with or b) very disappointed in. Unfortunately, this review is not going to compliment Sang-Q Cleaners. First of all, the customer service wasn't so great. When I asked exactly what natural cleaning was, I was replied "old machines are harmful to clothes" or something like that. When I asked for more detail, I was answered that she wasn't too sure. That's fine. I gave her the clothes. This is were it gets on my nerve. Fine, you claim that it's all natural dry cleaning, that it is somehow more superior. I buy that. What I don't get is if you don't actually clean the clothes and leave a stain on my wife's Banana Republic coat, what difference does all natural dry cleaning make? Is it all natural because YOU DON'T CLEAN THEM?! Finally, as I am generous. One star for getting all my clothes back. Period. read more

I would love to select 2.5 stars. I have never done a review and called out someone by name. The quality of the cleaning is just fine. The place is close to my home. The staff in the evening is top notch. If you plan to drop by on a weekday morning, please arrive at 7:10-7:15am. Fabiola has arrived after me on 2 (two) occasions in just the last 2 weeks. Another occasion, she arrived at the same time as me. I assumed there was already another staff member at the desk. She still needs to turn on the computer before she inputs your information. We previously took our clothes to the "green" cleaner over by I luv sushi in Lakewood. After they ruined several items within months we switched over to Sang Q. Have been a customer now for over six years. My husband drops there at least once a week and we have always had a good experience with them. The one time a shirt did get ruined there they showed it to us upon pick up and offered us credit for the shirt without us asking. Always fixes buttons if broken. Haven't done any alterations here so can't speak to that but the front desk female is super pleasant, knows us by face and just gets things going before I'm even in the door if she sees me picking up, which is impressive to me as I don't pick up nearly as often as my husband and she still remembers who I am. read more

This amateur cleaner has ruined my clothing for the last time. If you want your dry cleaning items washed in the laundry and permanently shrunk and damaged, soiled clothing pressed but not cleaned, buttons cracked and broken and collars pressed incorrectly then by all means go to this substandard establishment. When questioned about the damages the owner was argumentative, rude and annoying. I will never return and caution anyone who does. read more

This use to be may go to dry cleaners. My wife and I have been long time customers since they opened. I have give this place 5 stars in the past. We are customers that typically spend over 100 bucks on dry cleaning at Sang Q each month. The service at Sang Q has gone south. They have had lots of turn over and there is no customer service I hope the owners read this as you are loosing good customers Today was the final straw went in to pick up cloths and the girl behind the counter could care less. I could hardly hear over the LOUD Ranchero music blasting in the store. Had to tell the girl 4 times what my telephone number was. I told my wife we will be looking for a new dry cleaner. All I can say to anyone going to the place is to AVOID AVOID AVOID there are too many dry cleaners in the LBC that's I am sure treats their customers with a friendly smile and a Thank you for your business. What I like about this place that they always try to accommodate you! If I need my clothes to be cleaned in a short time, they never say no! Wish I could give zero stars. This place is the worst. In the past 3 months I've been given other people's clothes 4 times and have been shorted my clothes as well. Their process is not good and they have a whole row of people's clothes they have misplaced. I've accidentally left money in my pants pockets twice (my fault I know) and of course despite calling right away each time the money has disappeared. These people run a poor operation and they are thieves. The girl told me the regularly lose clothes (really?) but that it general doesn't happen to the same person more than a couple of times. I' ve been faithful to this cleaners since it's opening, but the other day I had a disappointing experience and now I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I came in slightly after closing because the lights were still on and the door was open. I asked to pick up a tuxedo shirt that was to be worn that evening, but the owner told me to come back the next day. I told him that I would pay cash for the shirt and that he could keep the leftover change. He told me he couldn't help me because it would take him seven minutes to restart his register. I begged him to let me have the shirt because it was for a formal party that evening. He told me that I had to come back tomorrow. I was very disappointed that he was unable to help me. As the owner, couldn't you have made some sort of exception? Would it really have been a big deal to put the transaction on the side and just ring it into the register the next day when you reopened your register? I am so sick of this cleaners and the unprofessional people that work there. They do not even greet you and expect you to spend your money. The one girl that started working there is so lame omg she asked me what do your clothes look like? Get this, she had my ticket number in her hand! This place use to be great but since they hired those two unprofessional girls I am looking for another cleaners. I read all the reviews on how they ruined your clothes well they ruined 2 of my expensive blouses. When I complained about the unprofessional girls that working there the manager did nothing. I asked for the owner's email or phone number and she said he does not want to be called, and have no idea when he will be in. Do not use this cleaners. They change their prices when you go to pick up your cleaning. They have a sign in their lobby stating prices for laundering men's dress shirts at $1.25/shirt. I recently took in 13 shirts to be laundered which were all ordinary button down dress shirts, all cotton, two had short sleeves. When I went to pick them up, the price was over $23 for the shirts. I asked how the total came to that when it should have been $16.25 plus tax. They said the short-sleeve shirts did not qualify as dress shirts. I pointed out that they should cost less as they are easier to clean. They responded that did not matter. I asked about the other shirts and they said only 5 were dress shirts and the rest were not. I asked why and they said dress shirts must have a "number". After Imuch confusion, they finally explained that only shirts that have "numbered" sizes such as 16 - 34 qualified as dress shirts whereas shirts with sizes expressed with letters such as "L" or "M" did not qualify. I explained I had never encountered such a distinction at any other cleaners and asked them to adjust their pricing in accordance with their sign. They rudely refused. I asked to speak with the manager/owner. They said he was not there. I had no alternative but to pay for my shirts at their inflated price and leave. They clearly do not feel the customer is right nor care about customer reactions to their conduct. Do not go there! read more
