I brought some white pants in to get the hem repaired on them because the hem was ripped a little bit. I was told it was gonna be $8.50 no problem. I dropped them off on Friday and I picked them up on Monday! During the pick up this white old man came to greet me and I gave him the ticket, he came with my pants and he wanted to charge me right away, and I asked him if I can check my pants. He said sure already with an attitude! I checked my pants and they stain the inside of my white pants and they did not do a good job with the hem work, the old white man got extremely nasty and rude with me and told me just take the pants. He said "We did not dirty them" even though he wasn't the person who did the intake of the pants. He can't tell me that my pants came in dirty because they would state that on the ticket and he wasn't the one who did the work either. I do not recommend this place. This old white man is nasty. He has no Customer Service experience whatsoever. I would say take your alterations and your cleaning elsewhere. Don't waste your time here such an awful experience and an ugly awful person just because I wanted to check the work and the condition of my pants. read more

I've come here a few times.. This time I dropped off 5 dresses and a pair of trousers that were all used one time at a wedding. When I originally came in to pick up my stuff (the date indicated on the receipt) they said it wasn't ready and they would call when it was. They never called. I eventuality went back and discovered that my moms dress was frayed in so many different places. When I pointed it out to the guy he was just like oh I don't know. I most definitely received the worst service here but I was desperate with time. I was in the country for a week and needed 4 pair of pants hemmed and a lab coat. I paid 12.50 per pants, and 25 for one pair of jeans and 30 for the lab coat. 1. The first person told me that they couldn't give me a price right away so they had to hold my product and then tell me a price a few days later. 2. They didn't even follow the directions and so I can to send it back and wait for 2 additional days 3. Majority of my pants were completed nicely and one had a big bulge of thread out. really don't think I should pay $12.50 where it physically looks like they didn't even look at it. I told him it's messed up and he said it supposed to be like that without even looking. Then he was like I can send it back. I literally spent over $80 dollars on gemming. I expect top notch quality. I can go down to any store and they have someone who does it on site. I'm so sad for the amount I paid and the quality / service I got. Makes you wonder when there are only one star or five star reviews. After many years I have to side with the one star reviews. Multiple shirts of mine have been lost or damaged over the years. Most recently the owner claims the burn marks and/or grease stains on my shirts were preexisting. They weren't. They were damaged by their vendor who does their laundering. I picked up my CK jacket today only to find it in the same dirty condition with none of the stains treated and completely peeling. When I called Ken he basically told me "too bad" and refused to refund me. He said it was my fault and he was sorry I wasn't happy. Damn right I'm not, what kind of cleaner is open for 40 years and this is the best they can do. Currently submitting a case to the better bureau. I went to this business to have a tablecloth hemmed to fit a smaller table. The table cloth had flowers on the edges of the two longest sides. I asked the person who worked there if they could hem the sides of the table cloth on both sides to make sure its even and he said yes they could. I picked up the table cloth and was excited to see it on our table ready for my daughters first birthday and was horrified. Who ever hemmed the table cloth cut all the flowers off one side of the cloth leaving one side with flower. It was absolutely ruined. I called Deli so I could talk to someone to figure out what went wrong and never got a call back. I'm disappointed that this happened and will not be using them again. read more

First of all he charged a lot of money and then the 4 different panels came back different lengths and the black out part of the curtain one of the panels had about an inch gap. Well, I don't know why this place has such horrible reviews! I have taken my uniform here a few times, and not only are they fast, but the cleaning is excellent. Bonus points here, I get a call when my clothes are ready for pick up. I was searching for a reputable leather cleaner and found Deli Cleaners. After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant but took my motorcycle jacket here anyway. I found the owner to be a nice and friendly man. I needed to have a slight mildew odor removed as well as clean all the patches and leather. When I picked it up not only was the odor gone but the jacket actually looked better than when it was new. I'll come back and have. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience from the one and only time I've been here. By the time you find out a cleaner isn't that great, it's often too late. I brought in a grey suit for a simple cleaning and when I received it there were two orange spots on the back of the jacket. A chemical of some sort was left on my jacket and completely discolored the wool. I recommend you take your clothing elsewhere. read more

I don't feel too good about giving a place such low stars, but I am not pleased at all. I was just passing by and decided to get a patch sown on for one of my uniforms. Pretty simple directions... centered & 1 inch from shoulder. I was also told and was written on my receipt that it would be ready by 1 pm 2 full days later. I went an hour early to pick it up, it wasn't ready. I thought that was awfully irresponsible of them to not have it done by now when its just sowing on one patch. I went back home and was called that it wouldn't even be ready by 1 pm like the receipt said. Great. I went back later in the day just to be safe and not make a third trip. Fortunately, it was done this time. I went home and upon inspecting my uniform, I noticed the patch was was ripped on an edge now so it had some stuff sticking out. Additionally, it was not centered and instead slighted slanted towards one side of the sleeve. My supervisor is a bit of a stickler for uniform appearance so now I will probably have to buy a new patch and get it re-done. Now I have to spend more money and waste more time on something that should have been a cakewalk. I will not be coming here again. Complete waste. Can't speak for the dry cleaning aspect, but definitely don't come here for alterations. read more

My brand new blouse (still with tags) came back with the sleeves shorted (which is what I paid for), plus a hole in the sleeve. I hesitate to write this review given how difficult it is to be a small business right now, but if you cherish your items, you may want to consider going to a different business. I have been going here for a few years now and the last time I picked up from this establishment, my vintage dress was completely missing a strap. I distinctly remember handing the dress to the owner with both straps intact with 10000% certainty. When I called about this issue when I got home, he essentially said tough luck and failed to take any responsibility or even apologize. He was certain the dress had only one strap and that this was somehow my fault? Even when my partner called, the owner was so defensive and reluctant to offer a refund for the service or any alternative options besides not taking any responsibility for ruining my dress. If you're a lover of vintage clothing or just really really appreciate your clothing, please find a new place that will take care of your items better than this. read more

Don't go, just not worth it. Needed a suit tailored for a wedding. Upon picking it up, I asked to try it on - the owner refused stating "we did exactly what you asked." I'm sure they did, but I wanted to try it on. When I pushed the issue, he okay'd me to try it on. At that point he had me irritated enough to pay the bill and walk out. This man was more concerned about collecting a meaningless $70 than to make sure they had performed an accurate alteration. The suit may be perfect or it may be ruined, I'll find out later tonight. The ironic part is that I'm 99% sure I paid when I was fitted and so I wasn't even thinking about the money. No matter at this point. I just had my leather jackets cleaned recently at Deli Cleaners. They did an amazing job. My jackets came back looking fresh and new. I love this place. I was very worried at first that my favorite jackets would get ruined but I took my friends recommendations and decided to let them clean my jackets. I'm soo happy I did. My fiancee and I have been patronizing Deli Cleaners due to its proximity, and because we choose to support local small businesses over alternative options whenever possible. The owner has been nothing but pleasant and accommodating each and every time one of us uses his services, and the work performed has always met or exceeded our expectations. On my last visit I needed a handful of items cleaned during graduation/prom week, for a two week trip we were leaving for in just three days. Originally he told me it would take the three days to have everything done due to the high volume of work at the time. I explained our situation and he instantly said he would expedite our order so that it would be available to pick within 48 hours (with no extra charge), as he understood all the errands and details that must be crossed off the checklist before a two week international journey. This type of personalized customer service is lacking in much of today's service industry and when received it is first of all surprising, and second, a breath of fresh air. I would recommend this cleaner to anyone in the Bixby/Knolls area and will continue to rely on the owner and his workers for all my dry cleaning and alteration needs. read more

I have been going there since 1996 and anytime I have needed good dry cleaning this place is spot on! or showed I say spot off!!! Another thing they are especially good at are alterations which are done carefully, properly, and they actually listen!!!! There have been so many times when I have requested alterations done to one of my dresses at other cleaners and not been sure while dropping off my clothes if the person even understood what I had said because there was very little acknowledgment given. Ken the owner is very helpful with any special requests and actually shows the customer he cares about delivering a good quality product and most importantly, actually listen's!. The dry cleaning is sufficient, nothing to write home about. But do not come here for alterations. Check out the other reviews here on alterations--they're just not good at alterations and have no business offering them! They clearly do not have a good working knowledge of fabrics and the general mechanics of clothing. I brought in a sweater with a moth hole in it. I asked the person at the counter whether he could fix it. He was free to simply say "no." Instead he said he could fix it and although it would not look perfect it would come close. He charged me over $5. When I picked it up he placed the sweater on the rack and was calculating my final price when I started to look at the sweater in detail. He looked irritated that I was doing this and just blurted out the price that was due. I thought this was rude since I was clearly looking over the sweater, it was like he was trying to stop me from examining the service that I paid for. Keep in mind the place was empty and no one was behind me, so there is no reason to rush me. So I finish looking at the sweater and the mending of the hole looked very amateurish. It looked like he just quickly went over it several times with a needle and thread and kept on getting the thread caught in the hole and did not bother to straighten out the thread ... there were loops of thread coming out from the mended area! So basically there's this sweater with what looks like a ball of thread in the middle of it with loose loops of thread coming out from the ball. It looked ridiculous. I asked the guy at the counter why there were loops of thread coming out from the mended area. He dead-panned and said: "It's a sweater. You can't re-weave the thread." Yeah, I get that it is a sweater, but there shouldn't be loops of thread coming out from the middle of it! And if his attitude was "It's a sweater, you can't re-weave the thread," then he should have said so when I first brought it in! I asked him if he could at least discount the price, to which he refused. Then I told him I was disappointed in the service and that I could have just done the mending myself given the poor quality. He could have offered to re-do it or at least say he was sorry that I wasn't happy with the service. I am not sure if he will manage to get this review removed. As a long time patron of Deli Cleaners, I find that the owner, Kenneth Haldane, is a shining example of professionalism and customer service. When I first moved to the area, I was still going to another cleaner, purely out of familiarity and comfort. I stumbled upon Deli Cleaners and wanted to give this business a try. Albeit the service was a few dollars more than the other cleaners, what "sold" me was that Ken took the time to know my name and truly appreciated my business, rather than the other establishment that frequently saw me, gladly took my money, but never wished to properly thank me (a paying customer) for my returned patronage. I never even received a smile. However at Deli Cleaners, Ken happily greets me by name upon every visit. I have never once been dissatisfied with anything I've ever received from him.
