I'm sure there's a reason for this, but every time I've been here for breakfast or brunch there's always a bunch of empty tables and people waiting to be seated, but the staff act like it's a full house. When we arrived there was nobody else waiting and yet we had to wait about 5 minutes for the staff to "set a table" for us. When we were seated there were at least six empty tables already set. When we left about 45 minutes later, a lot of previously occupied tables still had dirty dishes on them (but not all of them), and nobody was cleaning them up. Just like when we got here, there were lots of tables ready to go and yet the lobby was full of people waiting to be seated and even more people waiting outside.

We had asked for separate checks but when the server presented our bill it was one check so he had to cancel it and gave us separate checks. A turn off was the check presented on a hand held device and the options for gratuity start at 18% not at 15%. Regarding the server, Matias was good but he failed in the details. When he picked up the order in the kitchen he should have checked that my dish was correctly and not me bringing it to his attention. Also no listing to the separate checks requested. I do NOT like plastic table mats on the tables. They are not sanitized correctly. On a separate note at night time, they are called Gatsbys Bistro with an interesting menu.

Our kids ordered Açaí bowls while I just had a cappuccino. We made our way to the back courtyard, which was wide open and great for two young kids to run about without bothering anyone. The interior is inviting. While I didn't take pictures of the food, it was simply because we dug right in. The presentation of the food was exquisite and the kids barely looked up from their bowls; that's a good sign! We made sure to buy some coffee beans on the way out, which we are now enjoying at home.

I got up to the counter where she continued chatting with the guy eating at the counter. I mentioned that I wanted more coffee, I was told that they had ran out and if I wanted decaf. When I visit I keep looking for a new great breakfast spot with a nice relaxed feel, great service, good food and, of course, a killer green chile sauce! Today I tried Weck's for the first time. I am now whole again. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and seated in the bright and inviting dining room. Our waiter, Cam, was super friendly and helpful. I ordered a breakfast burrito with the green chile sauce on top and my daughter had French toast with eggs and sausage. As I looked around at other patrons around me the food looked and smelled wonderful. Everyone went silent as soon as their food arrived, happily devouring their meals. When our food arrived we had the same experience! I took a little taste and couldn't stop (which is why my photo is of a half eaten burrito! ). My wife had a Christmas (half green chiles half red chiles sauce) Chicken Burrito. I had a Christmas Bean and Cheese Burrito. As part of the special a drink is included so we had their tasty coffee. Zeke was the server and he was excellent, very polite and on time refilling our cups. The food as always is great. The only observation that I don't like is that the server brought us the check without retrieving the dirty dishes from the table. The same thing happened to me last time I was there with a friend. They do have a busser cleaning tables but only after patrons have departed.
