I wanna say this has always been my favorite restaurant. They have the best seafood, but recently, someone else is taking it Uber and I'm telling you, she doesn't care about anything, I wanted to talk with her about a problem I had and she asked to come back and get me to go in the kitchen. And I work in a restaurant, and I found out that she was doing 2 to go orders, and then she was up front. It showed that she didn't care so I would say not frequent this place.It will close soon read more

Food was ok. Small portions. Place was a little dirty. The wall next to our booth had something funky splattered on it.

Consistent decent food in the Fe. It can be hit or miss but if you order the right things, you'll get a decent dinner. Fried Shrimp, oysters, fries are all good as is the okra and baked potatoes. They have a good hamburger as well as a hamburger steak that smothered in a really good gravy. Pretty decent, fast and local. We're long-time customers. read more

Solid restaurant. Easy to call for pickup and be in and out in an instant. Hamburgers are better than average. They sub mixed veggies for the fries and it's a good portion with good flavor. Have never had anything bad here; a good quality choice for seafood or grill. read more

Went on a Friday at lunch. We were seated immediately. There was only one other table at the time. We ordered chicken gumbo to share with the eggrolls. Odd combo but both were good! I got a seafood platter with catfish, shrimp and crawfish. Came with fries and coleslaw. It was all very good! Not greasy or fishy, plenty of food. Prices are largely reasonable. My brother ordered the chicken fried steak lunch but said the meat was very tough to chew. The batter looked good and it came with fries and gravy. So our only feedback would be to tenderize that steak. Our waitress was very good. Prompt and responsive! We had my autistic niece with us and asked for the wifi code to keep her distracted. Waitress happily shared the code and checked on her to see if she needed anything. Restroom was clean as were the tables and area so overall not a bad option if you are in the area. The menu is large and has everything from typical grill and fried options like chicken tenders, pork chops, burgers to seafood and chinese! We will go again. read more

Terrible Experience. Gumbo was look warm and pasty when rice was added. Was told it was potion was changed to 1 scoop. Not sure why that eliminated the juice. KIM, Waitress, was HORRID. Justified poor meal, never apologized. Then came to cashier, put my plate in front of her, and said "it couldn't have been that bad, she ate it. " RUDE. RUDE. Great service, as entering in the restaurant we were greeted and welcomed. The shrimp with the butter lemon sauce on top was delicious.

I'd give 0 stars if it were allowed. Terrible service. The waitress clearly isn't a fan of toddlers. So if you are thinking of taking your kids here I wouldn't. The waitress got really pressed over the the toddler bending a straw and us asking for another, she said "I already gave y'all 4 straws" (we had 4 drinks) then threw 2 straws down and walk off after we told her we were ready to order read more

Food was really good, and our server was very attentive. I had catfish and the spouse had the fisherman's platter. I was ready to eat, so I forgot to take food pix. The menu is varied and extensive...even some Chinese food choices. Their specials sounded great. Steaks, burgers, seafood, crawfish...we will be back to try some other foods in the future. read more

It's a hit or miss place! Sometimes the food is good, sometimes it can be better but still gonna go everytime!

The food was great, I go here quite often and even tho sometimes they mess up they always fix the mistakes.

Ordered frog legs onion rings menu said 6legs 1099 got it went home 20$less and 4 legs. NEVER GOING AGAIN

I've been ordering from here for over 4 years now. Within the last month or two the food has really gone down hill. The buns taste plain, the hamburger meat has a funny taste to it, and they give you 1/2 the serving of fries that we used to get before. The fish is dry along with having some soggy fries. Yummy !! We were first timers here , but totally loved it !! I had the stuffed shrimp and it was delicious and very filling ( had to take some home ) My husband had grilled snapper and he said it was great also !! Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted sooo good ! Our waitress , Sharon was very attentive & so kind , she made our first trip here great and we intend to come back many more times !! We have been eating there a long time. Food is always great. Fried Shrimp is wonderful. However I have not oredered Gumbo in a while but needed something soft as I had some dental work done. I got my order and it was super salty..I did tell the wairtress to no avail. I didnt expect anything from it. Got to the front to pay and told lady that it was super salty--she had the nerve to tell me that my taste buds changed! Cook has been making it that way for 13 years...Never going to order that again!! read more

Cant say the food was the best but that's not what this review is about. Mediocre food, but service was god awful. We waited over a hour for our food in a relatively unbusy restaurant. When we brought it up, the server told us flat out that she had forgotten to put our order in. I asked for the manager and was told by the server that she wouldnt do anything, she was right. The manager tried every which way to make it our problem and then told us that we could not tip our server and that would solve it. We told her that in our experience, when your food takes over a hour, you should at least be comp'd something (our bill was $90+, so even the app would have been fine). She said no and that she couldnt do anything because the owners would "be upset at her." I'm sorry but in my experience, when the customer is unhappy you typically try and fix it. Especially since we wont return due to this interaction. read more

Found this restaurant on the way back from a fishing trip in Galveston. Friends and I ordered the fried shrimp, fried catfish, stuffed flounder, and a huge order of snow crab legs in a special garlic butter sauce. Portions are very big and the food was great! Restaurant is clean and service was great!! Will definitely be making the 1 hour drive back here more often to eat. read more

My husband and I used to live in Santa Fe and would order to-go all the time. Food is always good, hot, friendly service, and priced well. The bacon cheeseburgers are really good and we'll sometimes go out of our way to get one for dinner. I took away a star because the new counter staff drinks beer behind the register during business hours, and in plane view of the customers, it's unprofessional. read more

I found this place randomly after a long day at the Tanger Outlets, i am from Houston so us houstians love seafood to the fullest! So we tried this place mind you we never found any good quality seafood near Galveston. When I tell you have to try this place, give it a shot !!!! I loved their grilled boudin stuffed salmon , my parents tried the snow crabs & steaks....these were the best !!! This no frills seafood buffet was almost a joke. Showing up at 1pm, I'd expect a full buffet of items to choose from but instead we got about half of the items and at temperatures that were just not hot enough. The buffet line consisted of half seafood (mainly fried) and half Chinese dishes. The chicken strips were fried with tempura batter and the catfish was fried in chicken strip batter. Doubt I will be coming back but at least it was paid for by someone else. read more
