I came in here to fix struts on a 2009 Camry. I told them the wrong specs but I was able to update the specs prior to dropping my car off. It ended up saving me some money. I explained to the mechanic that I also had issues with TPMS. The mechanic looked at it and gave me honest advice on how to proceed without trying to sell me on anything. I appreciate that he was trying to have a conversation with me to educate rather than trying to get extra work done. Lastly I appreciate that they stayed open for me to pick up the car past closing. Highly recommend this local shop! My car Nissan Altima 2015 was acting up and I searched advice at many mechanics! No one was able to recognize the issue. I called Santa Rita Auto and Jose picked up the phone. He patiently listened to my explanation of the problem and he asked me to come for a diagnostic the early morning next day. He checked my car with no charge! He corrected the battery placement that someone else did poorly previously! I didn't know what the issue was with my car, so I decided to come here. It was my boyfriend's suggestion, and I'm glad I went. The mechanic here is so personable, efficient, genuine and honest. I enjoyed this experience and was glad he was able to fix what was wrong within a couple hours. He kept updating me on progress as time went on. He even asked if I had any time constraints before he went to work on my car, so I thought that was thoughtful. Alright, I have to give credit where credit is due ! I was literally tired of the guys from Dublin Hyundai, where the service advisors don't speak car, there are fresh faces like every 3-4 months. I cannot begin to say the amount of help Jose has given us (my boyfriend and I). We came in with my boyfriends dark grey mustang and it was messed up in the front, bumper was all bad, fenders were bad, splitters were messed up, hood was scratched. Owner took a look, solved the warning light issue, and charged me nothing since I didn't need to replace anything. I have taken 3 different cars here now. So far each experience was very professional as well as honest. As a female it is difficult to find a mechanic not trying to pull one over on you! After being quoted $2,000 for a taillight harness at a different auto place, we took car 1 here. Both my sister and I come in and Jose took a look right away. Turns out it was a very simple fix! Nothing like what they had said to us at the prior auto shop. Car number 2 I was told my head gasket was blown and all sorts of other things, estimate was well over 6,000 to repair. So we called Jose to have him give us a quote. AGAIN not even close to what the other place had told us. At this point car 1 was still doing great! Car 2 gets fixed and is running wonderfully! Just this weekend I took car number 3 in. Car 3 was taken care of very quick, he showed me the old parts with a full visual explanation (love that!) I highly recommend to give this company a chance! I am not 100% sure who serviced my car but thinking it was Jose (it was today, 11/7/2017). My temperature gauge would spike while idling, sometimes driving. An auto parts store directed me to Santa Rita Auto (in a panic that it was worse than it really was - "Nissan's are notorious for major issues" is what they told me). Jose (?) stopped what he was doing to look at my car as he saw I was in a panic. He took a good amount of time looking at coolant, radiator, fan etc - adding fluid, cleaning things out. Simply AMAZING. He explained things to me, what to look for. Bottom line - it appears to be just fine, and I'm ever grateful to him.
