Tim and his crew are very good at fixing cars. And their prices are fair. I had a Volkswagen Jetta that nobody could fix. He would drive it for a while park and it wouldn't start till it cooled off. Nobody could find out what it was. But Tim kept looking into it looking into it finally figured out that Jetta is have a problem when the wires get old and hot they don't hold enough of a jolt to start the engine. I guess you were over there. He is the one who stated he could get my air running for 300.00. My friend also heard it. He also said that he would have time for repair of my truck the next day. Also, my Rotors were in perfect condition and my bearings were not loose as you stated on your trumped up estimate. I left you the email thru your website. I'm happy to remove my review with a refund because I think it's the right thing to do. I s/w the bearded office guy the day prior. He told me all about his neighbor and how you tried to hire their one good mechanic 3 times. How he has known him for years. Tim, I've never had an issue with the shop next door. They had no mechanics. You did not take me in nor did you listen to who did check me in. lol you obviously did not realize I had an appt and you had a lack of work, I ended up giving you a shot. Instead I took one. Also yes you did quote me 3500 to 4000 which is out of line but how do you not know what all is needed yet still charge me labor for an estimate? Wow. I'm happy to show you the work done on my truck and how my rotors are perfectly fine as well as my bearings untouched as your estimate says the bearings are loose and rotors need turning. I liked that they were honest, forthright and detailed in explaining what needed to be repaired as well as the cost of repair. I was not thrilled with the actual cost estimate, it was pricey and outside the range I found for that type of repair. Deducting one star because the estimator was mildly condescending and somewhat flippant about current protocols. That's not to say I wouldn't go there again; they seem very knowledgeable and conscientious about the repairs they complete. read more

AAA towed me there for a fuel pump replacement. They were slammed before Labor Day Weekend, but they got the car to me next day. Super impressed. However, a clip broke while I was driving, apparently a cheap plastic part. Coudn't get gas to pump, resulting in another tow on Monday. I get a call before 10am this morning that the issue was resolved, they took complete responsibility, no change, and even filled up the gas that I lost - a half a tank which isn't quite cheap today. Grateful they can be trusted. They are honest and have integrity. Mistakes happen, plastic things break. They took care of me without any hassle and taking full responsibility, very apologetic. Seven days ago, driving my 2015 Nissan Van to South Bay, Hot AF outside and the A/C gives up the ghost. Do some of my own simple troubleshooting and OBD diagnostic and determine the job is out of my scope of ability. I am thinking its a bad compressor. I research some of the local car repair shops , they can't give me a price or a date to bring in until almost a week later. I yelp DCT and see some good reviews and their site has a coupon for A/C check that is my "Cross your fingers hope that is all that is wrong" issue. I was able to drop off that Monday not having to wait until Thursday. Ryan and his team spoke to me with respect and I truly believe honesty. They didn't try to sugar coat it and let me know how they were going to attack the problem and diagnose the issue. I even stopped by mid-repair to see the progress of the repair and they took the time to show me the work they've done and also listen to my, I'm sure boring stories of my own car repairs. A friend recommended Dublin Car Tek several years ago and so I took my vehicle of same make/model to them. My husband also does now too that are cats are out of warranty. They provide good service and I feel like they know what they're doing. And I don't feel like they're trying to sneak something past. In fact for big services, they inspect and replace what is needed rather than having to replace everything whether it's needed or not.., the price e can be pretty significant from a dealer when they just replace everything. I especially enjoyed bringing my identical 2 Ford Tempos in, to try to challenge their mechanics. I was never able to baffle them, but I tried. They always get the problem fixed the first time. Well, okay, not 100%, but about 98%. So, I have to admit they are not actually perfect--they are human. The only time they ever made a mistake, they fixed it right away at no charge.
