You are greeted by a very nice receptionist who seems like she never has a bad day! Backtracking slightly, this is part of a chain so you go through a system to get your appointment. The app is a little clumsy to use in the beginning. Like most healthcare these days you feel like a number. But once you get in the very capable hands of your physical therapist (mine was Norma) you're given a great assessment. In fact Norma really impressed me as she paid great attention to detail, was on top of everything going on around her and balanced multiple clients along with her technician. She never missed a beat! She even brings the fun with themed activities. It seems like a tight knit family. I have a feeling the technician who worked with me after Norma may have been in training as the same attention to detail was not quite maintained. The great news is I recovered quickly from my injury and didn't need to use all the visits I was eligible for. Happy to be back on my feet and pain free.

From Reception to the PTAs to the PTs, all services were the best one could expect. The receptionist team of Vanessa, Morgan, Gabby, and others were always all smiles when you come in. The professional knowledge and expertise of Samantha, Steve, Charlie, and Erwin were evident in the care I received. Mostly DIY reception with iPads and a kiosk that is clearly an offsite answering service, therapists will be juggling 2-3 patients at a time with interns filling in the gaps, etc-- the whole operation reeks of massive cost cutting for profit. It's a 24 hour policy, which I understand, but if you are a minute late, they will not honor your cancellation. This is what I was told by the person that works the front desk on my first visit. For instance, if your appointment is for 12:15 on Tuesday and you call at 12:16 on Monday to cancel, I was told you would still be liable for the $50 fee. You can't be a minute late? You can't even be two hours late? Things come up. There has to be some flexibility in this day and age instead of everything being black-and-white. I would encourage the business to have a little more flexibility so customers feel a little more at ease

To add insult to injury, months later I'm receiving bills from their Carlsbad office, but when I call in, the person working billing is never in. I've left 6 voicemails and received one call back. And unfortunately I was unavailable the one time they called so now I have to keep calling who knows how many times so that they don't send me to collections over a bogus bill. This place is awful. The 'physical therapists' seem annoyed to even be working on you. Go somewhere else if you actually need treatment. This place isn't it.
