Unfortunately, the impact did penetrate through some parts of the PPF and left residual scratch marks, however had I not had the PPF the damage would have been much worse and cost a lot more to fix. Leo, Allen, and Dom were so kind to help me clean up and fix the area and make it look as new as possible. UPDATE: Updating my review since the business owner…read moreobviously likes to respond to all his negative reviews to try and control the narrative - saying customers are lying, leaving false reviews, or weren't even customers to begin with. To start, the business owner is saying I lied about my experience and I was "belligerent" over them being late. He edited his response to me four different times (see emails). To address his original comments: 1.) "you provided two different numbers" -- this information is correct, however, the business owner ONLY used the primary one (just for clarification) and never contacted the other number throughout this experience. 2.) "over an hour before arrival, we informed you our technician would be running late" -- I wasn't contacted by anyone from this company until *I* reached out first, by this time, the technician was already late by 10 minutes. 3.) "we completed your full service including the engine bay detail, which we have clear photo evidence of" -- business owner offered free wash, wax, and engine bay cleaning due to being late - the wax was not done, or done poorly, and the engine bay was not cleaned, we were picking leaves out of it and its dusty, as you can see in the picture. 4.) "after the job was finished, we spoke directly" -- no? We didn't speak directly. I spoke to your technician and thanked him for his work and tipped him - but since he showed up late, we were pressed on time and needed to be on our way and didn't check the car throughly. 5.) "I still gave you a courtesy discount due to the delay" -- for clarification, no discount was given on the initial cost of the Interior Only detail. Only the offer of free services that were not completed, other than the wash. 6.) "you were belligerent over us arriving 30 minutes late, even though we had already let you know in advance that we were running behind and confirmed before booking that you had the entire day open." -- apparently, a customer being short and annoyed that your technician was running late with no notice isn't allowed lmao. If a woman says "hi." or "no, I don't want to cancel" is considered "belligerent", I suppose that's a whole other issue you have. Again, I wasn't told in advance that your technician would be late, and I never once said I had the entire day open. 7.) "Throughout the entire process, your behavior toward our team was distasteful and confrontational." -- when your technician arrived, I said hello, and politely asked him to move his car from blocking the driveway. That was the only interaction I had with him, aside from tipping him. We let him do his work and we sat in front of the house in the sun for about 20 minutes, on our property, several feet away from him. Overall, this company lacks professionalism and can't admit to being wrong. Cya

They were also able to fit me in much sooner than I expected. When I arrived I was impressed by the shop. It's much larger than I thought. Very clean, organized and professional. Luis handled the consultation and estimate walked me through everything and made the process simple with no pressure. I had the rear chrome delete done on my Mercedes GLE 53 and the quality of the work was outstanding. What surprised me most was the pricing it was more competitive than several other shops I looked into especially considering the quality of the finished product. I'll definitely be back to have the rest of the chrome trim done and will be using them for detailing as well. If you're looking for a trustworthy shop in Huntington Beach for chrome deletes, wraps, or detailing, I highly recommend Rhino Film & Detail. My previous go-to mechanic tripped me with a quote of $575 for the valve gasket cover replacement (I assumed they meant the entire thing, not the rubber seal). So I went to this place due to reasonable prices. Their labor prices are also more competitive. The only downsize is that they don't do appointment. Otherwise; so far so good.

They quoted me way under anyone else that I had called prior to going with them. I will recommend A-1 Muffler Express to all of my friends and family. They all make you feel that you're part of the family. They offered me coffee and cold water while I waited for my car to be done. One thing to remember, they are experts in mufflers, exhaust systems, and not any other type of work. But it never hurts to ask if they can do it for you!

This place is the greatest body shop I've ever encountered; have you ever had a car in the shop,when you show up; you get the feeling they kinda wish you weren't there? Makes you feel like they really don't want you to see how your car is being repaired? I NEVER felt that way at Santini's. I was called or emailed on a regular basis by Nic; informing me on insurance, and repair status, I never felt out of touch. The repairs were made on my car, I am so pleased; I don't have words to describe it. The work done was extensive, I expected to have a rattle, squeak or, some residual reminder that the car was damaged. I haven't experienced any of that at all; believe me I'm very particular about my car. When the time comes and paint or body work is in your current events from a door ding to frame-up restoration use these guys they know what they are doing no BS just real honest integrity; NOT an easy find these days. About 13 years ago my 1961 MGA was rear ended by an SUV. Hagerty Insurance referred me to Santini Paint and Body as one of their premier shops. After speaking with the owner, my decision was made to use them. The single stage paint on my car is a custom color that was put on years before the accident. The shop did a beautiful job and matched the color perfectly. And I am very particular about non matching paint and bad body work on cars. Being a long time judge for the San Marino Classic as well as other shows, you get to see plenty of the good, bad and ugly over the years. Fast forward to August 1st 2025, I get rear ended again by an SUV. Both times I was at a stop light waiting for the light to change green, crazy! In the time between accidents Satini's paint and body work had held up. No paint fade, cracking etc. So without hesitation I brought the car back to them for repair. And once again the shop did a beautiful job on my car. If you are particular about your hobby car, this is the place for you. One last thing, they are nice guys and easy to work with. read more

My wife and I can't thank Pete and his staff enough. We brought a 1987 Chevrolet IROC to the shop which had been in storage for almost 30 years. It had a couple of paint chips and scratches as a result of storage through the years. After having spent my career in the body shop industry, I knew the difficulties involved in attempting to match the original vehicle color, and the difficulty in matching the unique multi-colored striping that needed attention. Not only were they very fair in their pricing, the quality of the efforts conducted was absolutely amazing. They were able to seamlessly integrate the 30-year-old refinishing of the front bumper cover, and lower valance, to the original color and custom striping. Should we ever have an occasion to need a Custom Body Shop or Collision Repair Facility they are the only folks that we would allow to touch our vehicles. Mr. santini is incredible. I stopped by his shop today to get an estimate for repairing some scratches on my car and getting a paint job. Without even asking for any money, he got some stuff from the shop and scrubbed my door until (most) of the scratches were buffed out for free so that I don't have to pay for a full paint job. He informed me that the scratches were so minor that I didn't need to get my car painted even though multiple other shops in the neighborhood took a look at my car and offered to paint it for more than $800. Unbelievably wonderful people. I got tapped in the rear bumper and already had estimates of $900ish from two shops for repaint work. I was driving by and stopped at Santini's for a third look on a whim. They told me might buff out can we try first and then write estimate if not? In less than 10 minutes my car was fixed and they did it for free. Said "write a Yelp review" is all they ask. DONE! They were happy to help and respectful of my regular person car that is not a fancy hotrod or collector car. These are true car people while the other shops are parts replacement machines. I purchased a 1957 Chevrolet convertible from California (I live in Maryland) that was painted 7 years ago by Pete Santini. The paint job is absolutely incredible. I just had it crystal coated which brought out the original luster of the high quality paint job. It is superb and would highly recommend anyone wanting a perfect paint job, have it painted by Pete Santini. The gentleman that did the crystal coating said he has never seen a paint job of that quality and he does Bentley, Aston Martin, and other high end vehicles. Pete is the most honest painer I have ever delt with and there has been a lot. When he tells you he will do something it gets done and on time. He is one of only a hand full of true custom painters left today. And as far as the guy and his buddies that are bad mouthing I bet your car looked better than when it came in. And the issue you claim with clear peeling the paint manufactures have had problems with their products so it is not the painters fault. I will recomend Santini's to everyone. read more

I have a 65 Corvette that need to match some very expensive platinum paint on the driver's fender. Was told it could not be blended in and the whole car would have to be repainted. I'm not sure how to put it in words well, but the bottom line is that I immediately felt I was dealing with an HONEST, and Considerate person who genuinely wished to help me and not find ways to gouge me in price nor the 'con' job of what needed to be done. In fact, he showed me how some of the body defects were in fact something that could be buffed out easily. All the other seven body shops had just tallied that area of concern as requiring well over a thousand dollars to 'repair' - when in fact, it was a simple buff and polish and gone, at well, well less that the thousands all the other shops had told me it would cost. What I've learned out of all these shops I had gone to, is that they will attempt to make you believe you need to pay thousands when often some of the 'defects' could be done at a huge fraction of the price. Could Steve had done what all these other body shops had? And got me for much more than what they all knew could be done for less?? But he didn't. That is HONESTY. That is INTEGRITY. That is a GOOD and FAIR businessman!!! He's ONE man that I would trust anytime to repair my vehicle, and would come back again and again. And, anyone that values honesty and integrity, coupled with excellent work and service, would never go anywhere else!

They estimated the repair would take one week, and they delivered my Tesla exactly on schedule. They used genuine Tesla parts, kept me updated throughout the repair process, even returned my car freshly washed. I had my car fixed about two years ago here and the work done was great, 10/10 , but the customer service that Angie gives is beyond disappointing. Unfortunately I got rear ended recently & my attorney referred me here again & me having forgot that I had to deal with Angie for the whole process I agreed. Once again my car came out great aside from some issues that had to be fixed the service on the car was really good, but Angie's customer service , -10/10 . It's unfortunate she's still employed with the way she acts. My car was in this shop for a little over a month and so I would call here and there just to get a quick update. The phone calls were draining & the responses I would get from her were either excuses or just plain sarcastic responses. I would ask for the owners number because I I reached a point where I just did not want to have to deal with her disrespect & she always had excuses or would just tell me she couldn't provide it. I finally was told my car was ready so I came to pick it up , mind you it was a 30minute drive, all for my car to have to stay again because of an issue that had to be fixed. When I was here she was yelling at me, talking to the mechanic about me in a very disrespectful manner, she was laughing, and honestly acting like a complete child. As I first arrived there was an older lady in there as well asking for an estimate & she even noticed how rude Angie was being. She even went ahead and called enterprise and demanded they pick up my rental immediately when my car wasn't even fully ready. Enterprise then called me and I explained the situation & they even acknowledged Angie is difficult and unprofessional. Finally after making a whole scene for no reason, she finally gave me Pablo's number which is the owner, he was professional and apologized and I explained the situation to him and assured me he spoke to her. I returned again today, this time with my mom, to finally pick up my car , and she was still snappy but nothing compared to 2days ago. It does surprise me how she's able to treat customers like this and still get away with it. The work that is done here does take a bit longer but it is really good . Although, I do feel the need to give one star because unfortunately you have to deal with Angie through the whole process and it is the most exhausting situation to be in when you already have to deal with an accident situation. I hope Angie can find it in her to do better and at least look a little happier because she gives off very negative energy. At the end of the day I'm just happy to have my car back & not have to deal with Angie any longer . After today, I will no longer be giving this place any of my energy .
