I've eaten here many times, officially this is the best ever. Mid October the restaurant curiously empty we enjoy appealing metro service all to ourselves. The falafel is warm and yummy. I am a small child falafel in hand running in the sunshine. OMG! The lamb. Sweet and flavorful it melts in our mouths. Light crunchy coating over tender meat. Why can't goat be this good? PS. Everything was on point and the Cook celebrated. We will be back to hold every meal henceforth to these high standards. read more

Nothing bad to say here! My husband and I both got lamb gyros and some fries on the side. The price is totally reasonable and the food is good. The lamb itself was very tasty and you can taste the different spices they use. The environment is peaceful, relaxing, ultra clean (which I love) and the wait staff is very helpful and polite. My husband and I make Santorini a weekly day trip. Their hummus is delicious, would recommend getting it with the lamb mixed in. Small is plenty large for 2 people. We also regularly get the lamb gyro and the lamb kabob platter. My preference is the lamb kabob - both juicy and well seasoned, but both options are delicious. Santorini offers excellent quality and tasty food! Their hummus is smooth and creamy with a lot of tahini in it, the baba ganoush is flavorful and plentiful. Sandwiches are loaded with meat and veg and they always give you enough bread. Takeout is packaged well. Definitely have enjoyed eating here over the years. read more

I was excited to try this place when it moved in across from the University, and it doesn't disappoint. Solid Greek fare, which is hard to find here in Cruces, with some particularly delicious offerings. Some of my favorites are the gyro sandwiches, the Chicken Taouk, and the garlicky Lentil Soup. I was especially surprised by the Baba Ghanoush, because I'm usually not a fan of eggplant, but now I always am sure to get some when I go. The atmosphere is clean and modern, and the service is good. Haven't been disappointed yet, and I've eaten there dozens of times. I had never been in here and after going for the first time I was not impressed. I ordered for myself and a friend and the waitress was great friendly and professional she made sure all was great but when I got it to the office it was another story. The vegetarian sampler had hair in it and so did the lamb it was gross. We tried to switch to the cashew baklava but the dried out cake also had hair in it. Very disappointed with the food. When I attempted to fix it the manager on the phone had a horrid attitude and was very rude. She was not helpful or willing to attempt to replace or refund anything. We stopped here for lunch on a day trip to Mesilla. We have the Lamb and Chicken Gyros with a side of hummus with vegs and fries. It all tasted fresh and delicious and the restaurant was clean and took precautions against the coravirus by spreading out their tables and limited their staff. The staff was great and our food came out very quickly. They also had hand sanitizer on the wall by the bathrooms for extra precaution. We would definitely eat here again. read more

My boyfriend and I prioritize coming and eating here when we visit town. We have tried and failed throughout our journey across NM to find a gyro place as good as Santorini. What we usually get is the hummus plate (large) and a bunch of extra pitas. The hummus here is amazing. It comes with olives, cucumbers, and tomatoes, but my favorite thing about it is the oil thrown on top which mixes in with the hummus and tastes just... so good. We get the gyros or the mashowi (spelling?) plate for the main course. The lamb gyro is always freshly carved off the spit with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. You can get it with a side and I highly recommend fries to dip in the tzatziki or the greek salad. Both are amazing. The Greek mashowi plate has ~12oz of various meats; everything on this plate is amazing. When I do keto, I get this and just eat a greek salad on the side. My only complaint is that you can't substitute anything and I would so much rather have hummus than a pile of rice, but I usually just give that to my boyfriend. 10/10, would give it an 11 if numbers worked that way. read more

Probably my favorite in town, the Lamb Kebob plate is to die for. Simple and so tasty, cooked to perfect medium like requested! Not to mention the Hummus, pita and rice bring it all together so perfectly. Cant wait for Covid to end to sit in and dine. read more

I would definitely drive from El Paso for this. It's great food and I haven't read any of the other reviews but to me it's about as close as ur gonna get to actually being in, let's say, Kuwait or Qatar. I was happy my friends and I found this place. Been here for 7 years (man that's too long) and it's better than the El Paso norm. It's great to have something different. During the height of covid where everyone requires masks, none of the chefs were wearing masks as they prepared my food. The bathrooms were also extremely dirty. There aren't many great options in this town, and this is the only decent Lebanese restaurant, so we hit it a few times each year. Last night was the third time they've been out of falafel. Since they were out of the dish we had gone there to eat, we decided in the moment to order double babagnoush and spanakopita for the veg sampler, but they denied our request to double an item. They showed no flexibility with their menu (hummus is way too strong on garlic, and the grape leave wraps are underseasoned in our opinion, so we didn't have much to go with...) Overall, I rate their customer service as poor. Not only are you out of a staple item, but you are unwilling to bend to accommodate customers who were planning on ordering that item? You are in the food and customer service industry: if you don't have the food step up the customer service! read more

The restaurant was crowded and so, apparently, many people like Santorini's. I am not one of them. I'll stick to facts here and withhold my opinions. Between waiting for a menu, waiting to get served, and waiting for the check, our wait was nearly an hour. My husband finally had to ask for the check as the server(s) passed by our table numerous times taking no note of the fact that our meal was finished. We had our 7 year old granddaughter with us, and I asked about a children's menu. No such thing. Then I inquired as to whether we could order from the students' menu, assuming the portions were smaller. No, they said, you have to be a student with a valid ID. The students' menu exists to give students a break. It is what it is. Now finally, food (the opinion part). Meals were inexpensive, but portions (not appetizers) were small. My granddaughter got a sandwich with French fries on pita with lettuce. They had run out of falafel (!). I had the grape leaves, which were ok but certainly not a meal. Ok, just ok. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little worried about this place - but after eating here I realized: OH YEAH! Most yelp reviewers have no qualifications whatsoever! The food here was delicious - the baba ganoush was smokey and tasty - dolmas were nice and tangy - and the falafel had great flavor and texture. AND - the service was amazing. The price was absolutely reasonable too. All around great experience. The bad reviewers probably base their reviews off Denny's or something equally as bad. read more

Please make your hours accurate before ruining someone else's birthday. One thing is refusing to let people dine in an hour before closing (still rude) another is not taking take out orders 45 minutes before closing. If you want to stop cooking that early, change your hours. read more

I love this place! The food here is beyond delicious. Everytime I eat here, I leave very full and very happy. I always get the hummus and the Falafel plate (to die for). Their chicken, beef and pork dishes are perfectly grilled and come with a generous side salad, pita, wonderfully delicious rice (amazingly prepared with a gentle amount of fragrant spices). Everything is outstanding, and comes to the table fresh and quick. You can tell that they use only the freshest meats and produce in their entrees. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. My only gripe is that most of their tables are a little wobbly/wonky, but it's worth it for the food. read more
