For starters it took several attempts for the order taker to understand the order. One roast beef sub with lettuce, Swiss and tomatoes. One Italian sub TOASTED. You've probably guessed it...the Italian wasn't toasted. The subs were nothing to write home about. The lettuce had seen better days and the Italian had mortadella only, no cheese! Roast beef was $12.50 and Italian was $11.75 before tax. This place USED to be great, now I file this place under NEVER AGAIN. read more

We love Santoro's pizza and subs! However one of the things we love me was the pizza crust. We were very disappointed to see yesterday that they moved to, what appears to be, a par-baked crust . I'm afraid that will be a deal breaker for us if they stick with it. read more

Ok, I like Santoro. However, got to be honest. The pizza is inconsistent. When it is good, among the best in the area. When it's ok, it's just ok. The ok pizzas tend to be lacking is salt and that herbiness of a long and slow cooked sauce. When it is good, feels like mom made it. Their wings are always excellent, cooked well and have the right amount of sauce. Love you guys, but have to be honest. read more

Talk about a fantastic night!!! I ordered a calzone fron Santoros in Marion. It was absolutely the BEST we have ever had! My husband went to get it and he was SHOCKED when he heard "Thank YOU for your service!" and they presented him with the calzone.... free!! Ordered lunch this afternoon from this fine establishment. Very deserving of the 5 stars. Our order consisted of Falafalel balls with hummus, Ziti with garlic butter sauce, steaks tips (cooked to perfection) and Parmesan cheese, a Greek salad extra feta and grilled chicken with olives and cheese in a tin Everything was absolutely delicious and hot. Called in order 2 pizza and 2 salads. Told 15 - 20mins . Got 20 min later wasnt ready . Waited for 25 more mins. Got order looked in bag 1 salad i paid for 2 . Was told we give your money back . I said i order 2 for a reason . Was told fine we will make it. Waited 15 more mins! I look at prices on board doesnt match from what i paid . Mention this and was told they correct online and puts sticker on bag "go online and look" and then shows me piece of paper on side of register .( which customers cant see). I don't know what's happened over the past year or so with this place but I'm done with them. From pizzas delivered with all the cheese and toppings to one side spilling onto box, to burned pizzas, wilted salads just to name a few. I live less than a mile away and the delivery for a pizza and a salad takes over an hour on multiple occasions. I used to love this place but from now on I'm sticking to rose and Vicki's . I really want to like this place more, but the last few times we have ordered from here - the food has been pretty gross. Last pizza we ordered, we got a mushroom and garlic pizza. The pizza came COVERED (I mean COVERED) in garlic. It was way too much, we couldn't eat it. My husband got a steak and cheese sub and the steak was awful. The steak tasted like frozen steakums, rather than good shaved steak you usually get. I remember the food here being a lot better years ago, but it seems to have just gone downhill. I don't usually do this, but I am f$&@ing FUMING. I just had the worst steak and cheese sub of my entire life. I only have like 5ish steak and cheeses per year, so I'm sure you can understand my heartache and frustration about wasting one of my few allotted indulgences on this shoddily put together disgusting mess of a sub. First off, the sub roll was sogggggg city, and was falling apart due to the heaping amounts of (surprisingly) dry, stringy, gristly, flavorless steak overload. I'm kind of confused about how such dry steak could create such soggy bread. One of life's greatest mysteries. You can't even chalk it up to the whole "Well, I guess it's been sitting in its own filth for a while because we were slow to pick it up," type deal. Naw, we picked it up within 10 minutes of ordering, and it was still a dire scene. Upon opening up my sub to what I expected to be a tightly wrapped masterpiece of warm, cheesy goodness, I almost considered turning my car right back around and suggesting they try again, or else I'm demanding a refund. But I decided on the more (somewhat) respectable, passive-aggressive route and am channelling all of my anger and dismay towards this ranting Yelp review. This place is pretty good. My husband loves their marinated chicken platter it comes with a small but of salad fries and onion rings. I like to mix it up and try different stuff every time. This place is my new go-to place for take out. Got a greek salad and buffalo tenders to share for the game today. Greek salad was fantastic! HUGE portion, good amount of light fluffy feta on top (don't you hate when you get a greek salad and there's just minimal feta sprinkled on top? A greek salad is basically just the vessel for me to eat feta cheese...) Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, olives and a banana pepper which I immediately pick off. Greek dressing is creamy and good. Not the best I've ever had, but good. And they give you a nice big cup of it, too. No need to ask for extra. The buffalo chicken is SO good! Tasty breaded tenders. Not dry at all. Another pet peeve of mine is when you get buffalo tenders and its basically very dry chicken that you need to douse in bleu cheese just to get down - that is not the case here). My only gripe is the bleu cheese. First, this dip does not come with the buffalo tenders, which I think is kind of crap. Who eats buffalo chicken without bleu cheese? That's like not serving dressing with your salad. Second, it's just ok. There are no big chunks of actual bleu cheese in it. Very very tiny specs. Does not cut the heat of the buffalo as much as I'd like. But its good. Not great. Not enough to cut this review down a star. People that worked there were very nice! No complaints on customer service. All in all - super good food! Better than in the area of Wareham I live in. Worth the 15 minute drive to Marion. Stopped in here yesterday. Have never been in Marion it is a pleasant little town. I ordered a toasted Italian sub with the works...it was great. The place was spotless and the employees were nice. The sub was made fast...the only complaint I have is it was hot as heck yesterday and I thought I'd go sit down for a sub in a air conditioned place...it was so hot in the store. Our office staff ordered lunch here and one staff member at the restaurant(an older female) was incredibly rude, both over the phone and in person. We ordered a variety of food: calzones, salads and subs, and none of it was very good. We won't be wasting our money here again. read more

The last 3 times we have ordered from here our entire family has ended up deathly ill. Such a shame it's one of the few places here in town that has food. We try to support local business' but will be sure to visit other places rather then here in the future. I finally had to do it after four bad experiences the first couple of times they got my order wrong then another time I ordered a sub and I felt like they dumped a couple water into it it was completely soggy I could not understand how it even got that wet then I order it again and it was here in the food so I stopped ordering for a while in today I would to order something and they just gave me a bad attitude overall I asked to order a plate of pasta and I wanted to add chicken to it and they told me they could not do any such thing But I noticed the same in particular lady gives me a hard time every time I try to order this dish which I simply want to add chicken nothing fancy I will never order from this place or refer this place I get in my life I would not waste your time spending your money at a place that just simply does not care about the customer they are to be ashamed of themselves and I bet you the owner has no idea what's going on read more
