Bought a car that had the coolant flange replaced by this place the year before I bought it. Got a coolant leak. Saw The flange has had the bolts replaced with non oem bolts, but that's not as big of a deal as the black rtv covering the sealing surface around the flange. Theres no good reason to have done this other than the repair being done poorly or trying to reuse an already leaking flange. Not very happy to have to deal with this level of work. read more

Santos is a very high quality shop that correctly diagnoses and repairs the problem correctly the first time. I have been taking our cars to them for over 30 years and highly recommend their services. While they can appear expensive, I have found them to be competitive with several other shops nearby. Fixing the car correctly the first time also saves money by avoiding repeat repairs. They also do a great job of explaining and teaching. Just got back from picking up my car. Can't believe I have not written a yelp review before since I have been to Santo's several times. Had an unusual problem which they did a great job fixing. Pricing was reasonable / competitive. Here is why I give them 5 stars, besides doing a great job fixing the problem: - When you walk in the door you are usually met by Rob. He is polite, friendly and asks several questions so he can fully understand your problem and sort out the fix. - They always seem to have a lot of cars in their lot, however don't get scared off. They can usually fit you in, however it may be a day or two. Conversely you can call up and get an appointment - While the work is progress they take the time to keep you advised of the progress and when the work will be done - In summary, they are professional, do quality work and treat the Customers very well. Makes the entire experience of taking your car in for repairs easy and comfortable. read more

Not sure why Santo's does not have more reviews, but locals will tell you this is the place to go in the Wyoming area for automotive repair. They provide fair and reasonable prices, great service and friendly customer handling. I've taken two vehicles here for a variety of repairs and have walked away satisfied every time. Diagnostic/analysis is a tad more than a few other shops in the area, but its also not the most expensive. Reasons I go back... On one occasion they helped me fix a problem as they were closing for the weekend, for free. On another they gave me a quick and very reasonable price quote over the phone and even agreed since I was broken down that overall it was cheaper to go somewhere else (due to towing costs). I always find that they are busy but find a way to work you into their service schedule in a day or two. It's a good sign to be busy. Locals recommend them and they have many return customers. Overall... Location, parking and service get 4.5 stars Price of diagnostic/analysis and availability gets 3.5 read more

Santos is the finest repair shop I have ever encountered. They have been repairing my cars for years, and have always done so in the most economical way possible. All of the work has been superb, and the customer service has been second to none. I recently bought a new Lexus. The car died on the street, and I asked Santos to repair it. They had it towed in by a contractor. The contractor scratched my car, and then lied about it and said that he had not. Because he had hired the contractor, Mr. Santos paid for the scratch to be repaired at the best body shop in town. Obviously, that is superb customer service. Most of my friends take their cars to Santos, and all are very happy with the service and the quality of repairs. I see a couple of negative reviews on this site, which seems very odd to me. I have never heard of anyone having any kind of problem at Santos. read more

Thanks for the comment Jim, and that all sounds great, but it doesn't change the frightening lack of satisfactory service I received. I went back to have them re-fix my window within a year, did not get any word about any sort of warranty and they charged me yet again for the exact same repair, which promptly broke- again- a week later. Also, yes I know no one can actually see the timing belt, no one did. I knew it needed replacing because of the horrible condition of the external belts, which would mimic the timing belt's condition. I saw the part once it was removed and verified the wear on it myself. I wrote the review because I am just so disappointed that somewhere I trusted would let me drive around with a dangerous problem like that, when I specifically ask for a full report every time I go. Sorry, but Hyundai has my business now. read more
