I would not recommend this shop. I brought my BMW in for a cooling system flush and a transmission flush. I was quoted one price, but when I dropped off the car, I was told the transmission service would cost more than double. When I picked it up, the cooling system flush had also doubled in price because they said my car required "special fluid." They later called to ask if I was satisfied. I explained that I was not and pointed out that the work order simply listed a green-fluid flush. They said they would call me back, but several weeks have passed with no follow-up. After checking the car, I found milky green coolant and the reservoir was not even filled to the proper level. My BMW requires red, pink, or orange coolant. Based on what I observed, I was charged for specialized service that does not appear to have been performed correctly. Disappointing communication, unexpected price increases, and serious concerns about the quality of the work. read more

My key is locked in a lock box over the weekend and I had to go all the way back to my home to get it because they recommended it would be the easiest thing. Wyoming Automotive: HOME OF THE $154 DOLLAR GAS CAP! Brought my Rock Auto A/C system parts to WA in June, 2021, after getting an $850 estimate for install, on my '05 Saturn VUE. (I've BABIED this SUV since '08: I got it off a lease return @ my job). It was a 17 y/old car w/only 132k miles, going INTO Wyoming Automotive: HOME OF THE $154 DOLLAR GAS CAP 8am drop-off, w/guarantee 5PM finish. "Service SCAMMER Keith" (SSK) came IN the office after berating a mechanic, saying: "You just CAN'T Find good help anymore .." Turns out THAT mechanic was GOING to do a VERY complex job, on MY car. By 5:25, I called & SSK told me "they ran into problems" & said it'll be ready by 1pm NEXT day. I'd already TOLD "SSK" I had 1pm doctor appt. ACROSS town the day before. SSK said he'd PUSH them to get it ready, so I could make my appt. The tech who "did the dirty deed" picked me up around 12:50, so I have to drop him @ the shop, PAY for the late job & scurry across town. I called my doctor & got slammed w/a co-pay for AND a NO-SHOW. En route to drop off the grease-monkey newbie, who LITERALLY had grease marks all over his forehead & cheeks, I heard a CACOPHONY of new rumbles, metal-thunks & transmission chatters. By next week, I realized the transmission was "shuttering"/ hesitating to shift UP gears. At idle, the engine RUMBLED like an F-350 diesel next-lane, with windows down. (This is a GM SUV w/a Honda VTEC V-6 & to ACCESS the A/C Compressor, you must LOOSEN ALL 5 motor mounts, SUPPORT the engine w/a jack & lower the front cradle 1" to get a wrench on the bolts.) The VTEC was a home-run for Saturn, but a headache for mechanics, because of the TIGHT FIT into a GM chassis. My invoice gave a 12-M/12K mile warranty ON the labor, but NOT the A/C parts, since I bought them elsewhere. NO issue. I returned to W.A. a week later by appt., to address the noises & tranny shifting issues. They "didn't hear/SEE" anything wrong. The tranny issues got WORSE & constant, as the weather got colder, I made a 3rd appt. to get it checked out, early Nov. 2021. After 90 minutes, the LEAD mechanic said he DID hear the tranny noises & engine rumbling loose, but they REFUSED to address any of the issues, SUGGESTING I'd BROUGHT these noises TO their shop, BEFORE the A/C job. But then WHY would NOT the tech have MENTIONED this, after dropping me at home? I finally contacted a former co-worker from the Automall. HE replaced all 4 motor mounts (2 were CRACKED) & RE-ALIGNED the ENGINE, since it was NOT AT THE CORRECT ANGLE FOR THE DRIVE AXLES TO TURN THE WHEELS FREELY!! He charged me only $760 for the job @ $80/hour labor, I JUST got an estimate from a Chevy Dealer=$1,563 BEFORE tax & shop fees! I TOOK the old mounts & receipt BACK to WA, SSK dallied w/the mounts, SAID they all looked fine, suggested they didn't need replacement & WENT ON to say I was trying to GOUGE THEM, because I'm disabled!! Nice guy, HUH?? I INSISTED on FULL $760 refund, for the EFFED-UP job WA did. I told SSK: "I'm NOT trying to take any $$ from the shop, but rather THEY pay me out & COLLECT the $760 from the tech who EFFED my car up!!" I've texted to WA several X now SINCE my last visit, SS Keith keeps saying he will call my co-worker & then the owner. DON'T waste your time expecting the "owner" to get back to you, it appears he died in 2016, so WA is operating under an ALIAS Owner. JUST SHOWS what a SHADY operation they are. ;) ;) 2 days later, he hasn't called my co-worker. SS Keith is a LOUSY, STONE-COLD, PATHOLOGICAL LIAR, he CANNOT keep his BS str8, & keeps "shooting himself in the foot" as he LIES more & more. SUMMARY?? UNLESS YOU ARE FAMILY OR CLOSE FRIENDS: AVOID THIS SHOP AT YOUR OWN PERIL!!! THIS SHOP TOOK A CHECK-ENGINE LIGHT, GOT CC# OVER PHONE FROM CLIENT, QUOTED $31 FOR A GAS CAP, THE OWNER GOT HIS CAR AFTER-HOURS. SSK CHARGED HIM $154.00 FOR A GAS CAP!! AND THE CHECK-ENGINE LIGHT WAS STILL ON! WYOMING AUTOMOTIVE GIVES REAL MECHANICS A BAD NAME. HOME OF THE: $154.00 DOLLAR GAS CAP!! read more

I am from Dallas, TX traveling to Detroit with my wife and four children when my Expedition started shaking and acting funny near downtown Cincinnati. Unfamiliar with the area, my wife quickly got online and saw that Wyoming Automotive had great reviews. In our desperation, that was great to see. After explaining my situation to Mark, within minutes he was clearing out one of his full bays in order to start looking at mine. Mark himself dove right into mine while the pleasant office staff entertained all 6 of us (including very impatient toddlers). Eventually, it came time to close at 5:30 but Mark and Sally both stayed until 7:00 in order to get me back on the road to Detroit. They represent what customer service is all about. Great business! I had them fix my air conditioning this week, and then today, I had an issue with something unrelated. It resulted in my car having to be towed. I had it taken to them, and they had it fixed within an hour. It ended up being a very minor issue, but they definitely saved the day for me. They have earned me as a customer for life. read more
