One day, I just happened to look at the tailgate and saw that it was dented up pretty badly. I had no idea when or where it happened. I had purchased dent or ding insurance, but they denied my claim on a technicality. I wanted Matt to do the repairs because he had done such a stellar job on my cars before. I protested the disallowance of my claim, and Matt worked with the insurance company to get an $800 settlement. It was easy to get an appointment to get my truck fixed at Prostar, and the repairs were done in a little more than one day. Matt's work is flawless; you can't tell where the dents were. The tailgate looks like it did the day it came off the assembly line, and the truck was freshly washed when I picked it up. It's a sign of the confidence that I have in Matt Finney that I left my "toy car" with him today when I picked up the truck. My toy is a 2018 Mustang 5.0 premium GT coupe, and it had a couple of dings and some curb rash on one of the wheels. I have peace of mind in knowing that the car will be stored inside his secure shop. I didn't even ask Matt for an estimate for the work on my Mustang, because I trust him to do the work right and at a fair price. Notice that I said a "fair" price, not the cheapest price. You get what you pay for, and at Prostar, you're paying for the best. Matt is knowledgeable and professional, and he is seriously conscientious. He wants your car to look the best it can look, and he wants you to be enthusiastic about what he does. This kind of commitment to quality is very rare these days. Huge lack of communication with parts vendors(I personally validated) . No sense of urgency at all! Lead times were all over the place. 3 different completions dates given. When I was finally given the call 22 days later that it was done. I went to pick up. I inspected the work... opened back door to notice they broke a trim piece, tried to glue it back, never mentioned this to me... HUGE integrity issue there! Again excuses were made , I told them to call me when it's fixed, beyond frustrated at this point. I get a call from insurance company the next day to ask me how the vehicle is... the insurance company called to validate completion, Redfields said that the customer took possession of the vehicle and everything is fine. OBVIOUSLY not true! There is a huge lack of processes that are not being adhered to. No inspection process to ensure the vehicle is done. Not a single time was I ever apologized to by ANYONE for taking so long or for lying to me. Will never use Redfields again! Nor will any of my friends or family or network of insurance companies I work with. Beware! I suggest Sapaugh! They are by far more professional!

Honestly had new issues with communication that came up that added to my above frustrations. BUT: my tech was great in recovering my experience, hence the updated rating. He went over and above to try and correct the communication issues, to the point only he would call me and only he would help me. So while I'll still only go back from warranty things. I will give kudos to my tech for being attentive, aware, and acknowledged the missteps in communication to me. Mistakes happen, so as a customer I can appreciate the effort and awareness my tech gave me.
