    Shrimp Japanese Fried Rice
    Tony W.

Carry out or eat in. Ordering was quick and easy. Food is cooked to order. We tried the Japanese fried rice with shrimp. You can see them preparing your meal. Only took a couple of minutes. Meal consisted of four shrimp and fried rice with egg, carrots, onions. Stirred fried together. No ambience. But place is clean. Good for carry out or quickie lunch.

This place is a great little hidden gem! Across the street from Kroger is not to hard to locate. I had the steak and shrimp hibachi with fried rice and it was great! Next time I'll try an appetizer as well.

Filet was delicious. Perfect portions and very quick! Cannot wait to go back and try something new.

The girl in the front was friendly and welcomed us. The decor inside is nice, may be a bit older, but I think that is what gives it some charm. They have a couple tea rooms, which is nice, also a sushi bar, a large regular bar and then of course their hibachi grills which is the main event. Did not try sushi, so cannot give an opinion on that. But I did enjoy the food very much, it is on the more expensive side per person, but you know what you are getting here, it is the atmosphere, the show and the food all together to get the full experience for the price. I myself chose the filet mignon with scallops. Filet medium rare, it was cooked just the way I liked it, it was tender and flavorful and not over done. Scallops also were on point, the chef did a good job. I think he may have been newer as he did not do some of the tricks I am used to in a place like this. But he did a good job and was friendly. Our server was friendly, the only complaint is when we went to pay, he said we could not do individual payments and we had to do it in blocks of 4, which did not work for us. We asked to speak to the Manager and then we suddenly all had our bills split properly how we needed since we were a mixed group, so I thank them for doing that. We brought a cake as well and we were able to cut it up at the table and enjoy it there as well, so I cannot give them anything but 5 stars. Friendly, good food, entertainment and accommodating to our requests. Good experience all around. Enjoy!

Love to sit near the coy pound. Could use better lighting tho. Unfortunately, the last time I ate lunch there, it's been over a year, I had the worst attack to my digestive system, that I've ever experienced. After we had lunch, we drove over to Kohl's, which is within a couple of minutes. As soon as we walked in, we both developed the old bubble guts. Barely made it to the restroom. I will spare you the details. Ruined it for me. No more sushi for me.

They offer to-go bowl, plates, and a bag to put all your stuff in. The service was quick and the workers were so diligent. When you walk into the restaurant there's music playing in the background, which isn't loud enough to disturb anyone. It's cool inside with plenty of room, from the booths to the walkways. The bathroom is kept clean and very pretty looking. I enjoyed my experience :)

The waitress sat us quickly, since there seemed to only be one or two other parties in the store. Overall we were pleased with the experience. I loved that they had a skewer menu, something I have not seen in the ramen shops I visited. The waitress was not terribly familar with some of the items, but was more than happy to find the answers. I was disappointed that my bamboo shoots were absent in my ramen bowl, I had the spicy tonkatsu. My daughter loved the fried agashi tofu and my husband enjoyed his spicy miso. We both agreed the noodles were quite nice, little snap to them and not too soft. Double check your bill - we had to ask for a removal of an item that never made it.

I specifically ordered well drinks, but I was charged for top-shelf liquor instead. On top of that, the drinks tasted extremely weak, as if they barely contained any alcohol. My adult sister and I were both properly ID'd and legally drinking. At one point, we exchanged drinks so we could each taste what the other had ordered. The server then approached the table in a rude manner, asking who was "passing drinks around" because the bartender had seen it. What bothered me most was that he did not address the people actually involved. Instead, he confronted other members of our party. The way the situation was handled felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and embarrassing. The food was decent but overpriced for what it was. What really crossed the line, however, was the server's behavior after I left. I left a cash tip, yet the server reportedly complained to the rest of my party and claimed that I hadn't tipped at all. That was both inaccurate and highly unprofessional. For the amount of money spent, I expected much better service, better communication, and a more professional attitude. Spending over $100 for one person should come with a much better experience than this. Unfortunately, this visit was not worth the price, and I would think twice before returning. also, I forgot to add that we had reservations for 7 PM and we did not get chefs until 9 PM and we finally were able to leave around 10 to 10:30 PM.
