Can't wait for the vines to grow longer.
Julie J.

The sweetest little plant boutique with the most unique selection of plants. The plants were vibrant, beautiful and healthy. This boutique is filled with the happiest plants I've ever encountered. Seems like the plants were dancing with excitement and greeted me hello when I walked in. I was fortunate to meet Sarah the owner. She is knowledgeable, plant passionate and very friendly. I wanted another plant that I saw on past photos, however they were out of stock. Sarah suggested another plant. The plant suggested is actually a better fit for my bookshelf. She advised, the plant is still growing and will start to grow longer vines. The second I unwrapped the plant, I could feel an overwhelming feeling of happiness. This little plant, which I named Patrica compliments the top of my bookshelf well. Can't wait to see her fully grown with long vine draping down. Thank you Sarah! I will return for more of your happy plants. Highly recommended!

Happy, healthy white princess philodendrons

Being in my plant mom era, I'm constantly in search of local plant shops and happened to come across SarahCotta on Yelp. After reading the many positive reviews, I visited their Instagram and lucked out on a weekly restock day when new inventory was posted. I was immediately drawn to a specific white princess philodendron that was featured, so I reached out to request it. Sarah responded and was very accommodating. She sent me photos to confirm it was the correct one and reserved it for me after I placed my order. When I arrived to pick it up, I was impressed with the many types and quality of plants they carried and spent time browsing through their collection. Their prices were very reasonable, so I left with a lingering desire to buy more and ended up returning the following day! While there, I chatted with Kayla, who was so knowledgeable and kind in giving me plant care tips. I also appreciated their rewards system, considering I'm now a social media follower and loyal customer!

"I did not kill this plant, it was sick or something. I gave it everything." - 28 Days (and me, every time one of mine doesn't make it). LOVE SarahCotta! The shop is so charming and delightful! The space is perfect and it's such a pleasant experience to merely walk through the door. Their plant and pot selection is amazing! Everything is so healthy and vibrant. I saw some beautiful specimens here that I've not seen at other nurseries/shops. The staff is welcoming and knowledgable (thank you for making me feel better about my brown thumb). I was told that they are happy to source plants we're looking for, so I will be stopping in soon for that! The prices are stellar for the product quality! Can't wait to buy more!

My second review here this plant nursery never fails to amaze me. They have great plants! Great staff and the best part is the "take one , leave one" prop wall! Their decorative pots are so cute aswell

What a Cute Little Spot. Prices are moderate, I've bought the same plants for a $1 or $2 cheaper elsewhere, but it always feels nice to help small businesses. The girl at the counter was exceptional, she was helping everyone with so much ease and knowledge. I am a happy customer & glad this spot is right around the corner from my home:)

My favorite plant store in the area. Place is small but they have lots of variety and always bring in new and interesting plants. They have common/popular plants mixed in with some unique and rare ones. There's a plant for every budget. All plants are healthy and I love how knowledgeable they are. I think plants make people happy and there are some really happy people working here. Always smiling and friendly and willing to help. I love their propagation wall. I've visited lots of plant shops and this is the only shop I've seen a "trade" wall. Pretty awesome! I've I've been able to add some new plants to my collection. So bring a cutting! ....and big props to the young lady who followed her love and passion and created this incredible shop for others to enjoy....beginners to plant pros. From the name of the shop, to the choices of plants being sold, the people she hires, etc. good job! Highly recommend!

Loved this cute little shop. The branding here is perfect if you are giving someone a plant as a gift. I bought a Campfire Crassula Capitella, a Lavender and a bear paw succulent that had a blooming flower. Overall extremely happy with my purchases. The owner was there and she was kind enough to answer my questions. This place allows only 4 ppl. at a time it is rather small and they don't rush you but its worth it. Mainly house plants here however you can always ask about converting some of them into outdoor they are just mindful of full sun and prefer the shade. This place also has a full wall dedicated to propagating, which I do a lot of. All healthy looking plants. Respectfully Reviewed

A wonderful store. A plethora of unique and beautifully taken care of plants. Sophia was incredibly friendly, helpful, answered all my questions and beyond with awesome depth of insight. I may never go to another plant store again.

Cute little shop by my house I came to recently find out about! Fast and easy service. In and out in about less than 15 minutes. Parking is free on the street. I went on a Wednesday morning and had no trouble finding a spot right in front of the store. Prices are reasonable. All covid guidelines were met: no more than two customers allowed inside at the same time. Sarah, the owner, was wearing her mask all the time. She greeted me with a pleasant attitude & was very attentive all the time. I must say I have found my new plant store right here!

Beautiful little store, off a busy street with lots of hustle and bustle, they've managed to create a very calm and beautiful atmosphere with all their unique plants. The people are very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend to support this small business and get guaranteed well maintained plants from them. I got my friend who doesn't like flowers the cute little cactus with a bright pink flower, she loved it!

Be careful when doing business with The Standard Design Group…read more In 2023, my husband paid The Standard Design Group a $15,000 deposit under a contract for the company to grow 60 ficus hedges for our future landscaping project. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we became unable to move forward with the planting. When I first contacted Chriss, he told me we could use our deposit as store credit toward other materials or installation. After that, however, months of text messages went largely unanswered, and it became nearly impossible to get a response. It wasn't until I reached out through The Standard Design Group's Instagram account that Chriss became "responsiv again, telling us he would discuss the matter with the Board. After that, communication once again came to a standstill. When we ultimately requested a refund, we were told our only option was to pay the remaining balance of the contract and take delivery of hedges we can no longer use. Rather than working with us to find a reasonable solution or putting us in touch with management, we were repeatedly directed to a generic company email address. After reviewing our contract, we have serious concerns about the company's position. The agreement contains a cancellation provision referencing a 15% cancellation/restocking fee, yet the company is attempting to retain our entire $15,000 deposit, claiming that too much time has passed and that they have cared for the trees during that time. While we understand there were costs associated with growing and maintaining the hedges, that is the very business they are in. Larger hedges are substantially more valuable than smaller ones. If these hedges are still in their possession, they are worth significantly more today than they were when we paid our deposit in 2023. If they have already been sold, then they have recovered value from the same inventory while still attempting to retain our entire deposit. Despite this, we have never been provided with any explanation or documentation showing why the company believes it is entitled to keep the full $15,000 despite the cancellation language in its own contract. We have spent months trying to resolve this matter professionally and in good faith but have been met with poor communication, broken promises, and no meaningful effort to reach a fair resolution. As a result, we will be filing formal complaints with the California Attorney General, the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs, the California Contractors State License Board (if applicable), the Federal Trade Commission, and any other appropriate regulatory agencies. We will also be pursuing all legal remedies available to recover our funds. We expected professionalism, transparency, and customer service from a company handling a project of this size. Instead, we've experienced the exact opposite. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend doing business with The Standard Design Group. Before signing a contract or paying a substantial deposit, I strongly encourage prospective customers to read reviews across all platforms. We are not the only customers who have raised concerns about this company's communication and customer service, and Chriss's name appears repeatedly in many of those reviews. Buyer beware.

We tried some espresso tonics, cappuccino, non-caffeinated drinks, and matcha. No complaints from us with what we ordered. They also do some seasonal drinks.
