I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, the service so kind and attentive and the restaurant itself nicely decorated and clean. We were a group of 10 for dinner. First we shared a number of different hot and cold appetizers - every single one was delicious. The calf's liver was some of the best I've ever had at a Turkish restaurant (and we have been to many). We also each ordered a main dish - everyone (including some picky/particular folks in the group) absolutely loved the food. We were so full but couldn't stop eating! The portions are generous, all of the food is so fresh and flavorful. We particularly loved the Adana special and the manti. We had such a lovely time and will definitely be back here! Kind staff, elegant table settings, and flavorful food. We ate here Tuesday night at 6:30 and were the only ones! A shame because this place is delicious! Definitely give them a try. My daughter and SIL had dinner at Sara's Mediterranean Grill the other night and LOVED it. They eat at the best restaurants across the country and in Europe and gave the food a high rating, so I ordered a take out of Lamb Shish Kebab for lunch the other day and was DELIGHTED. Everything was so fresh and expertly prepared. The rice was the fluffiest and best tasting rice I've had in my life. I am not spoiled for rice from anywhere else. This place is our new favorite for Greek food. The atmosphere and decor is very pretty. It's clean and modern. The service was excellent. They are kind and friendly. To top it off we had really tasty appetizers of 3 different dips. One of which is the beet and goat cheese appetizer and the red pepper appetizer with capers that I will be craving for a while. Then for our entrees my teenager really loved his sea food pasta. My husband got the lamb souvlaki and I got the moussaka which was a nice portion and very authentic tasting. Then lastly we ordered the baklava and received this wonderful pouched pear that just sent us to another level of satisfaction. This was probably some of the best Greek food I've had. Don't let the location fool you, once you step through the door its cozy Greek ambience just wraps you up. The owners and servers couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. But the food! Delish! The pitas are yo die for. The hummus is soooo good. The gyro is the best! Chicken kabobs awesome. Just so so. I was excited to try something new but the food was just "meh" but the service was no better. There were two young people serving and they seemed more interested in hanging out behind the counter and chatting than in taking care of our table. We were the only table at the time so it wasn't like they were busy elsewhere. After we finished our meal, we never got a check. We had to go to the counter to ask to be rung up because she hadn't prepared the check yet. It was weird that she didn't realize at the end of the meal she is supposed to bring the check. We were a family of 5 eating at Sara's Mediterranean Grill for the first time on April 24th. This is hands down the best one to date that I have eaten at in Dutchess County. The Owner and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. A truly enjoyable experience. Now for the food, it was absolutely amazing. We had the Lamb Shish Kebab Entrées, the Lamb wraps, Adana grilled ground beef wrap, Lentil soup and the Mediterranean salad. All the food was so fresh and fantastic. At the table we were all saying how amazing the food was up until the last bite. Then came the desert. We ordered Baklava, Kazan Dibi and Sutlac. Once again, it was so fresh and amazingly good.
