Wow! What a find! This unassuming strip-mall restaurant was amazingly good. Huge menu, great soups and the usual Middle Eastern classic dishes.... Many also sold in Hanna's market next door. Service at our Friday lunch by server Luna was fast and efficient. She was so anxious to please and gracious in her service. We will be back!

Yum! We enjoyed the beautiful Lebanese spread with red wine everything was so complimentary and delicious!! The restaurant was so lovely to sit in relax and enjoy.

Lamb chops with rice. Can also be had with fries.

I feel everytime I come here, I'm dining in someone's home and they're feeding me incredible food. On the weekends, Lena is usually the hostess and she makes you feel right at home. My go to is the lamb chops (pictured). Another of my options is the branzini. My wife will get a vegetarian dish of her choosing, and there have been many over the years. Wrap up your meal with some Lebanese dessert and coffee. There's a reason we've been coming here for 25 years.

I went to Hanna's for the first time last night and had an amazing experience. Lina greeted my party as we walked in and had us sat in seconds. She gave us ample amount of time to peruse the menu before asking if we had questions. She knew it was our first time so she gave recommendations and even showed us the "right" way to eat the falafel appetizer (it was so good I forgot to take a picture and next thing I knew, the food was gone). I got the mixed grill entree and I was extremely impressed! The chicken was juicy, the lamb melted like butter in my mouth, and the spices in the kafta were perfect. If you like garlic, ask for the whipped garlic....my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area and if you're not in the area, it's worth the drive!!

One of our favorite restaurants. Anytime we are driving through Danbury we stop and then stock up on hummus from their store.

The staff is warm, attentive, and makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. We started with the sausage and peppers appetizer, which had just the right amount of spice and paired perfectly with their house-made bread and olive oil -- truly delicious. For my main dish, I ordered the linguine loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp, and even a lobster tail, all served in a slightly toned-down fra diavolo sauce. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. My wife had the pan-seared branzino, made specially gluten-free, and it was perfectly done. What impressed us most is that every dish is made to order and served hot -- nothing feels pre-made here. You can taste the quality and care in each plate. This little restaurant is an incredible find, and we'll definitely be back.

The two times I've been in, they've brought out samples of thier menu items to try. I want to expand and try more things, like the chicken and beef kafta. If you have questions just ask. Certain platters come with different items. Some rice, some salad, etc. Thier pita is fresh and delicious, and comes in different sizes. They have a decent sized dining area for dine-in, and the take-out area is right as you walk in the side door. Here you will also find a grocery area with Lebanese essentials. The selection is sizable, and offers items you won't find in a regular grocery store. I stocked up on spices, and coffee. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. I will return every opportunity I get.

The restaurant is spotless. Not just tidy -- immaculate. The kind of clean that tells you the kitchen runs with discipline and pride. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the family who runs it greets you with genuine hospitality. You can see it in their faces. This is not just a business. This is their culture, their heritage, and their reputation on every plate. Now the food. I ordered the lamb gyro platter, and it was exactly what authentic Greek comfort food should be. The lamb was deeply savory, beautifully seasoned, and sliced generously. Tender, flavorful, and aromatic without being greasy or heavy. Every bite tasted balanced and intentional. This wasn't fast-casual gyro. This was traditional, done right. My wife had the Greek chicken Caesar, and it was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned with that unmistakable Mediterranean brightness. The greens were crisp, the flavors bold but clean. It felt fresh, not weighed down. We shared the falafel appetizer, and it disappeared quickly. Crisp golden exterior, tender and herbaceous inside, properly seasoned with real depth. Not dry. Not bland. Exactly how falafel should taste. Then came dessert. The rice pudding was creamy and comforting, subtly sweet, and clearly house-made. But the orange cake stole the night. Thin, delicate layers of phyllo soaked with honey and bright orange. Simple ingredients, flawless execution. It was light yet rich with citrus aroma, sweet but not overpowering. The kind of dessert that makes you pause mid-bite because it is that good. You do not rush this cake. You savor it. What truly sets The Greek apart is the authenticity of their ingredients. They import nearly everything from Greece -- herbs, spices, oils, vinegars. You can taste the difference immediately. The oregano has more fragrance. The olive oil has more character. The flavors are vibrant, alive, unmistakably Greek. This is not imitation. This is the real thing. And the pride shows. The family running the restaurant clearly cares about every detail, from food quality to customer service. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely appreciative of their guests. It feels personal. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we would order next time. If you are anywhere near Bethel and you love authentic Mediterranean food, do not hesitate. Go to The Greek. Bring an appetite. Order dessert. And prepare to find what is easily the best Greek food in the area. We will absolutely be back.
