    Lunch bowl with falafel
    Rajeev L.

Very stylish place in Westport with a bright, clean look and music blaring. The food is very good, but a bit pricey. I guess that what you have to expect in Westport. I had the lunch bowl with falafel and it was quite tasty. The Israeli salad was very well seasoned and the falafel wasn't bad, although I'd expect more flavor for the $10 charge to add it to the bowl. The service was good and food came out quickly and was very fresh.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. We sat outside on a beautiful heated patio space. Indoors very colorful and fun. The food was AMAZING and the service was just as wonderful. The owner/ manager helped my friend who is gluten and dairy free find lots of options on the menu for her. Incredibly creative sandwiches and salads/ bowls.

An interesting experience. We visited restaurant for dinner. The restaurant serves Israeli food, and we can probably call it "tapas style" - good selection of shareable small dishes. My problem is that we had hummus, baba ganoush, cabbage salad, eggplant "chips" - and most of the dishes were rather bland. The only dish which was a standout was fried cauliflower- it was absolutely delicious. My wife had chicken schnitzel and that was seasoned reasonably well. Whole fried red snapper was amazing in the presentation, but again, lacked flavor. I had lamb/beef burger, and it was not bad, but very tough. Cabbage salad was a part of the burger, and the liquid from the salad was dripping all over. French fries were definitely the best part of the dish. Not bad overall, but if you are looking for a pop of flavor, not sure this is the right place. Or maybe we just were not so lucky. Friendly, prompt service.

STAY AWAY: An Insult to Israeli Cuisine and Common Sense Rating: 0/5 Stars As an Executive Chef and an Israeli citizen, I am rarely speechless, but "Blondit" managed to achieve a level of stupidity beyond comprehension. Let's start with the name. In Hebrew, blondinit is often used as a derogatory shorthand for a shallow, vacuous, or "clueless" woman. It is incredibly fitting that the owners chose this name, as it perfectly reflects the restaurant's operational philosophy: total, unadulterated ignorance. The entire experience was an exercise in deception. This isn't just a bad kitchen; it's a "fake" restaurant. They have no understanding of the ingredients they are handling or the culture they claim to represent. The menu is a work of fiction. What you order is never what arrives because the kitchen staff clearly doesn't know what they are making or selling. The "Food": A Culinary Disaster * The "Cigars": The menu promised delicate Moroccan cigars in crisp phyllo dough. What arrived were heavy, leaden, grease-soaked eggrolls. * The Lamb Burger: This was a masterclass in how not to cook. The meat was over-processed to the point of having the texture of "guppy poop" and was salted so heavily it was borderline toxic. * The Halloumi Fiasco: They topped the burger with Halloumi--a squeaky, salty cheese that does not melt. Placing a cold, rubbery slab of salt on top of an already oversalted, mushy patty shows a fundamental lack of basic culinary knowledge. The Environment: A Health Hazard If the food wasn't insulting enough, the atmosphere was stomach-turning. While I was attempting to navigate the inedible mess on my plate, there were kids vomiting in the dining area. Multiple children were getting sick, and the staff acted as if it were a routine occurrence. No one cared, no one rushed to clean it properly, and no one seemed concerned about the obvious health risks. I should have taken the vomiting children as a warning sign. I left the restaurant feeling ill and ended up getting violently sick from the few bites I actually managed to swallow. This place is an embarrassment to Israeli hospitality. It is fake food run by people with zero understanding of cooking. Save your money, save your stomach, and stay far away from this disaster. I will never return.

Recently had dinner at Blondinit and everything was AMAZING! The service was friendly, accommodating, and attentive, making our evening special. We enjoyed a variety of dishes: kefta, Moroccan cigars, Babaganoush, perigot chicken, and a kids' burger plate. Each dish was flavorful and simply but beautifully presented. For dessert, they brought out a slice of pistachio cake for my birthday...and it was exceptional - the perfect end to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this restaurant for an outstanding dining experience! Will be back!

This was one of my most unenjoyable meals in years. Every other single patron is seemingly being greeted or welcomed or catered to by the owner but not me. It feels like it's because I'm the only gentile and non Jew here that I've been ignored. One would expect some sort of hello, welcome for coming, how's everything tasting from a brand new owner after 4 days of being open. But nope, nothing, crickets.....all the while I see her catering to two other women at the bar she just met for the first time. The bartender has been beyond friendly and accommodating - he's great and I over tipped him accordingly. The wine list is great and they also have Israeli wines, which I love seeing. Perusing the menu prior to coming, I hoped for an Abbale TLV experience like the wonderful Israeli restaurant in Miami - savoring a variety of delicious Middle Eastern dishes wanting you craving for more visits. The samplers I had were fine. I love baba ghanoush but wouldn't reorder it. The warm mini pitas are a very nice touch. Too bad they didn't have any eggplant mezze items. I wish them well - they are still only catering to their friends and family obviously like our first visit. To not be welcomed and embraced a second time doesn't make for an experience where we'd want to return and support this new restaurant, which is a shame.

Large bar area, a larger dining room great for private events (which they do a lot of) per our attentive waiter and a smaller dining area near the front window. My friend and I had 3 of their specialty cocktails while there which we enjoyed very much. We had the octopus with fingerling potatoes which was delicious; the octopus was very tender. We also had the mussels in a white wine broth, it was great. It was a good sized portion for two, but we almost ordered another as it was so delicious. It came with bread to soak up the yummy sauce. My friend had a decaf cappucino and the goat cheese flan since she didn't want anything too sweet. It was also great, the tangy cheese wasn't noticeable in it and kept the flan from being too sweet (personal preference). They had other flans and Dulce de Leche as well.
