We stumbled upon the Dalya Estate in the town of Sebastopol. Not knowing much about the area, we took a chance and booked our stay and we are SO glad we did! From the stunning home to the absolutely breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards, we couldn't have landed in a better spot. While we ventured off site for a dinner and wine tastings, we truly never needed to leave the house. The pool was the perfect way to spend the warm Sonoma days and the house allowed us to put the kids to bed while still enjoying each others company in other areas of the home. When we did venture out, we were pleasantly surprised by the access we had to vineyards nearby and the short drive to surrounding towns - St. Helena, Yontville, etc. If you have a large group and are looking for a perfect Napa getaway, look no further than the Dalya Estate...truly felt like a Tuscan getaway and we cannot wait to return!

The interior is modernized design, it is an open concept that has a queen size bed also a pull out sofa bed in the living area, TV Blu-ray player, a small kitchen, private deck overlooking the bay, bathroom showers, and a shared yard with propane barbecue. is a quaint little spot for two people, and I love that they are dog friendly here they have stuff for dogs to use just in case you forgot your stuff. They have utensils, cups plates, spices, and some teas in their cupboards. In 2017 we use the same company to rent a house property on Gull Dr. That home was a very spacious home. We had our kids with us so it was nice to share it with other people plenty of space, open concept and they also had. It was a four bedroom house and it also had a washer and there were two spaces for parking and they also had a gaming area in the garage. For our 10 year wedding anniversary hubby decided to come back to the place we met and fell in love. But this time around he rented Albatramonto property that's up stairs from the original Tramonto property that we stayed at 11 years ago. This one it was almost identical to the original location we stayed at, but this one had a breakfast nook and two split patios. One patio facing the ocean and the other patio facing the tides wharf. The company was really wonderful. They made us a little heart towel and gave us a bottle of sparkling rose for our anniversary. Just be wary of ants, especially during the winter season just don't keep food out in the open or unsealed. If your ant problem gets really bad, then call the company up and they'll come out and spray. The only complaint we really had was the heater they had didn't warm the place enough and it was really cold. luckily, they had layers of blankets on the bed to keep us warm. The sunset are still amazing to watch from the patio. Parking is a little tight for this property. Brianna was the person we had dealt with, and she had simply been nothing but helpful with the bookings. The nice part about this company is everything is done online via email and to check into your property. You never have to go to the office. You can just show up at the actual vacation home and the key is in the lock box. every time you call them, there's always someone there to pick up the phone and answer any questions that you have. we will definitely be back here again in the near future you can never go wrong with any of the properties. The view is just superb for sunsets.

When asked if we could leave and be refunded, customer service said no and told us there was "a bunch of information" on the listing about the construction nearby, but all this info conveniently left out the location of the new house and its impact on the views of this property. They also said they wouldn't be posting new photos of this property until construction finished, so they can keep gauging people like myself! What a special anniversary trip... People and companies like this are truly despicable. Cannot discourage people enough from staying in any of their properties and supporting this fraud.

The "Hi House" is absolutely gorgeous, starting with the panoramic view of the sky and trees all around you when you wake up in the morning. There are decks all around the place for just sitting and taking in the scenery, and I bet if you brought that certain someone, you might not leave the place for days. This little house is made for two, with one central room made entirely of glass, a tiny kitchen and even tinier bathroom. There is a Jetson-esque tram that actually takes you from your car up the hill to the house, so you really do feel like you're in a tree house, far up from the world down below. Antlers and succulents and 1960s furniture are the backdrop. Between the hiking trails and the oysters, the ocean and the Scotland highland-ish surroundings, there's tons to do and explore. Just one rule... no rocks! You are in a glass house after all.

Each house is uniquely dreamy, nestled in the picturesque town of Occidental. Barbara is truly the most wonderful, kind, and welcoming host. She attended to every single detail to ensure that our wedding day was perfect (even down to wiping off benches after the beautiful morning mist cleared). She is a dear friend and really makes every visit extraordinary. We know we will continue visiting for years to come. While you stay in Occidental, you MUST get food from the Union Hotel. Between visits, my husband and I dream about Garlic Gold pizza, carrot cake, and the best minestrone around. The pizza crust is to die for- fluffy and just the right balance of perfectly browned. The slice of carrot cake is literally larger than my hand and maybe even forearm! Super rich and velvety cream cheese frosting- amazing! We have visited Occidental once during COVID and the Union has an excellent picnic style menu. The food is ordered outside and nicely packaged for take-out or eating at a table in their distanced outdoor area. As someone who has strictly adhered to distancing and other protocols, I felt safe and comfortable! Highest praise for the Occidental Guesthouses and Union Hotel!
