The grounds are awesome and the area is beautiful. Close to many great vineyards and restaurants. The latest upgrade we noticed was top quality bedding that made sleeping in this romantic getaway a treat! The bocci ball, outdoor kitchen and refreshing pool are always highlights of our time spent here. If you are coming to Sonoma - I highly recommend staying here.

It is where my anniversaries are spent if possible. As this cottage is becoming more well known, the bookings are becoming more difficult. The cottage is perfectly sized, well appointed (and tastefully done), and truly truly truly an incredible respite for our hectic lives. Love the home, the location and atmosphere with the Adobe creek babbling across the back area, and the spa to relax in. The owners are very nice and accomodating. This is one of the few places on this planet where I can actually turn off the brain, and relax for real. In our house we just have to say "let's go to the cottage" and we know exactly where we are talking about.

At the end of the exercise, I had only one word written - "nothing". If it is possible to think of everything, Bev and Jerry Stemach have done it. It is a beautiful, restful space in a lovely setting. And don't miss that amazing, ancient oak that absolutely fills the picture window of the cottage. It will stop you in your tracks. From check in to check out the staff and grounds were impeccable! Lim the manager is so kind and she makes sure you have a great experience. All the staff works hard, and goes over and beyond to exceed with thought. Our room was beautiful and the scenery was the prettiest ever! The heated pool was so much fun! And we were able to meet new people and make friends. The fresh cookies baked were a plus, we loved the espresso machine and water taps all over the property. Between 5-6pm There is a wine hour! With a free tasting and snacks. You really do not need to go anywhere, there are restaurants in 2-10 minutes with an uber drive. I absolutely love this place so much. I want to come back soon.

The room was so lovely. Bed was huge and comfortable. I loved the automatic fireplace! The shower had a rainfall and handheld. The grounds are so gorgeous, it's like you're in Italy or something like it as I've never been to Italy! The large pool is heated and the warming pool is just so relaxing. Breakfast options are plentiful and delicious. Yogurt, granola, pastries, bagels and smoked salmon were always offered with one hot rotational item, quiche and a casserole dish were the items available on our two night stay along with mimosas!! They also have a 24 hour coffee and water station and complimentary cookies. They offer wine and nuts at 5pm to 6pm. There was no charcuterie when we visited in July. There is no restaurant on site. Exceeded my expectations.

Even though the weather in San Francisco was cold and rainy, Warm Springs more than lived up to it's name. We loved the breakfast offered by the small local restaurant within close walking distance. We also enjoyed taking our 10 year old son to the Safari Game Reserve. It is not to be missed. We did visit quite a few wineries during our first stay. Our favorite was Chateau St. Jacques. We hope to visit again the next time our travels take us to Northern California. The vacation home is kept impeccably clean. During our first visit, there were three couple and two teens staying over with room to spare. The shopping in downtown Sonoma was delightful and I loved the gourmet selections available at the local market.

While we have used different outfits lately - we had a great experience with Russian River Adventures a few years back, so we came in excited to return. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing, mainly due to poor planning by the staff. We booked for four people on a Thursday - my wife, myself, and our two teens (14 and 16)--with the expectation that we'd have two boats, which is standard for this group size. However, the team miscounted the boats that morning. When we pointed this out, instead of fixing the mistake, they pulled us aside and crammed all four of us into a boat intended for three, squeezing in an extra seat to make it "fit." Visibly frustrated, the team promised to speak with the owner and make it right (it was two high schoolers running it that day). I didn't argue and wanted to at least try to have a good time and not be that Dad. The result on the boat? A very cramped and uncomfortable setup that made the inflatable much harder to steer and navigate--especially on a 9-mile river trip. This wasn't the experience we paid for or expected based on our prior trips. The staff seemed more focused on moving us along rather than making it right. Still haven't heard from the owner. We'll likely explore other options next time around. Disappointed to see the service slip like this.
