Very good place to stop in everyday of the week and you won't rest the same thing (unless it's your favorite). The quality of the foodbis beyond exceptional and the service is great as well, they help me navigate thru the menu items and offer suggestions to. Been here at lest 7btimes and each time has something new and exciting for me to try. The atmosphere is casual and family style dining that makes you feel at home or my Abeluo or Tia is cooking. If you have not been please make sure to come out and support, you won't be disappointed!!!!

My personal opinion is that I did not like the roasted chicken due to the seasoning. I am a picky eater.. I would prefer a roasted chicken from Costco. I did have a chicken fajita plate. That was really good. Service was OK. Environment is great.

Wow. This place the chicken was so tender and juicy. It was absolutely delicious on its own - plus they gave me a verde sauce (tasted like cilantro lime salad dressing with pepper) that was wonderful. Green beans with onions. A salad with their own brand dressing. Plus charred mixed vegetables- onion, tomato, squash, bell peppers - this was great too! They have a do it yourself soda machine. A couple types of pepper sauce on the table (in addition to the dipping packages of the verde salsa they gave me). A variety of ice cream and other frozen items.

Best charbroiled chicken! This Peruvian chicken is by far my favorite place for chicken. The marinated chicken has great flavor and the price is very reasonable. I first tried it outside U of Maryland campus after my daughter's Badminton Tournament. Most of its chain stores are in Maryland. Hagerstown is the second store I stopped by in MD. Just found out they have one in Philly by City Avenue area. Definitely will stop by there when I am close by.

The food is amazing, every time. My favorite is the half chicken white meat. Props to the carne asada. That char broiled flavor is the best.

Oh my gosh this place was soooooo good. So good my son covered himself in their pasta…read more We are visiting from out of town and this place caught our eye. If we loved here im sure we'd be regulars. My mother-in-law and I had the kebab (chicken and steak) and I forgot what the men had... the plantains were amazing, the chicken was SO tender and the Brussels sprouts were amazing. I had the house marg and it was 1/2 off, so of course I and to get two... The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the fried corn, it was kind of like the puffed up popcorn rhay doesn't pop all the way. It wasn't bad, but I think they had other better options.

It all started with an empty restaurant. Then the server's uninspired approach to our table…read more Drinks were good and came out in a reasonable amount of time. Ordered the Empanada tasting which is one steak, chicken and sausage. A few minutes later the u inspired server brings 2 of the same flavor when there should have been 3 different flavors. The manager corrected the issue and we started tasting and sampling and quickly realized that there wasn't much flavor to any of them and the sauce tasted like it had sat open in the refrigerator for weeks. One bite of each was enough to stop eating them! Then along came dinner..... Lomo Saltado and it was more disappointing than the appetizers! The steak chunks were not seasoned, the dish was very dry and the fries and vegetables were not seasoned. This meal doesn't even rate 1 star and they should be ashamed of their service and products!! Overall my review says don't eat at Mayta's!! It was a complete waste of money and time!! Horrible service and food!!

Love this place! I could eat here every day! The young people who always wait on me are always…read moresmiling and friendly! And the food so many good choices-biggest problem is what do I wanna eat today. Diffent 5star!

I wanna start by saying I did NOT get food poisoning...but if I did get food poisoning from this…read morerestaurants food I would still come back for more. I have genuinely never had a better experience at any food establishment than I did at Rocoto. My husband and I ordered the chicken and beef empanadas to start and the smell of the crust alone was enough to brighten our day but the whole of it altogether was an ethereal experience. Perfect combination of a delicious crunchy, flaky crust with a beautiful combination of flavors waiting inside. We would have been delighted to leave it at the empenadas, that alone would have been enough for a 5 (10 if I could) star review but we also ordered the birria tacos and the beef bistec a lo pobre which easily brings us up to a 30 star review. The tacos has a perfect balance of Oaxaca cheese and tender meat with a beautiful flavor and plenty of onion and cilantro and the perfect dipping broth to kick the flavor to the best birria tacos I've ever had. And the bistec a lo pobre with a side of fried plantains? Quoted directly from my husband, "I've never seen you have a slow blink because you've like a food this much." The plantains had such a beautiful flavor (that's the 3rd and probably not the last use of the word beautiful I've used in this review), the meat in and of itself was perfectly cooked and beautifully (see?) flavorful. I could have eaten that all alone but a big bite with the egg, plantains, meat and rice (which again, somehow could have been a perfect meal all on it's own. I can't imagine how someone makes rice taste soooo good but they've done it) was almost an exact reenactment of the scene from Rattatouille when he eats that piece of cheese with a strawberry and the scene shows fireworks and swirls as he discovered a newfound love of the new flavor combo. It almost feels like I've never had food before today it's thay good. You will almost never catch me wanting dessert at a restaurant but after what had been the best eating experience we've ever had we decided we had to stay a little bit longer, have some delicious chocolate cake and fried ice cream while we waited for our to-go order of empanadas to take home to enjoy later. The server was a very attentive lovely young woman who we sent to send our compliments to the owner (something we've never done) who was so kind to come over and chat with us for a minute. The restaurant was very calm, quiet and clean which is very refreshing for two people who are very tired of glaringly loud restaurants. The only noise we could hear between the two of us was laughter, joy and excitement over how good this food was. If you know the Lord you'll feel how blessed this food is....we walked into this restaurant after a deep heartfelt conversation about the sad things in our lives, shedding tears right outside in the car. From the moment we stepped in all the way up to writing this review 2 hours later we've experienced a joy like no other meal has ever brought us before. We can not wait to go back and bring everyone we know with us for as long as they'll let us in the building. If you've been thinking about trying this place out I say RUN, GO NOW! You do not know what you're missing.
