They show me some oil outside of the valve cover gasket. But no active leak. An excessive leak would mean that oil is actively leaking. So I should have seen oil on my garage floor or smoke coming from the engine but neither are the case. And honestly I'm sure these are common tactics that plenty of mechanics use but don't make it like my cars breaking down when I know it isn't. I just bought it a few months ago and had it looked at. I'm also a fireman so I've seen plenty of broken down and leaking cars. Now I will wipe the outside of the valve cover gasket clean and we'll see if there's even a slight leak let alone an "excessive leak"

Within a couple of minutes, the horn was working, but they explained to me that a new one was still needed as there was an internal problem with the component and so, although it was currently working, it would most likely stop working again soon. They made some phone calls to see if they could get the part, but they couldn't. They advised me to get the part from Ford and bring it to them so they could instal it. Best of all, they didn't charge me anything for getting it to work. I know that's a small thing because, realistically, they really didn't do much, but it's that kind of honesty and integrity that I appreciate. For that reason I'll definitely be coming back in the future.

I went in for an oil change and my dealer told me that my brakes are due for a change. Went to Nick's and asked for the oil change and new brakes. The mechanic (I believe it's Ming) told me that they still had another half year to a year left on them considering that this is my daily driver. He told me just check it again next time I'm in for an oil change. Most recently, I went in for an oil change and had him check my brake fluid because it was within the timeframe of replacement. Ming turned down the work again because the brake fluid was still clean. If you know what you need, this is exactly the place to go for honest work.

I called to ask if they had a tire in stock that needed replacing. It's not easy to get as it's a Pirelli Scorpion 275/40 R22 and they were on a National back order. I spoke with John several times and he was able to locate one in Connecticut and had it shipped to him for the next day. I called to confirm it was received and I drove right over. The whole process took about 90 minutes. John was on point and kept me informed throughout the process. They were fairly busy, had return customers mixed with new, and people I know that live in the area said they have a good reputation. This did not cost me anything although their posted prices for inspection, estimates, tire rotation, a/c service all seemed fair. They appear to have a good selection of tires and informed and showed everyone what was needed if a repair or replacement was required. I would recommend them based on my experience. Not sure why their rating is low on Yelp.
