I have worked with them before... but trust-- I don't lie about food. Let's start with the restaurant first. They've got a dark, moody vibe yet still cozy. Plenty of available seating. The ratio of rice and avocado, plus the other condiments came together well. This was accompanied with some teriyaki sauce you pour over your teriyaki bowl and some wasabi sauce to add to your sushi if you wished to do so. The service itself was not rude, but also not the best. With everything put together, I'm pretty disappointed in my returning experience here. It was such a good place from what I remember. I'm not sure if it's new ownership or leadership since I was last here, but it is definitely not the same quality that made me want to keep coming back before.
