Ok last week I ordered 2 pies one a GF pie for the wife and a large pepperoni for myself. I was starving and I could not wait for the food to arrive. I was upset when I saw that it was taking a little longer than expected and 15 minutes later it did arrive. But instead of my 2 pies that I ordered I received 3 pies a cheesecake and a very sincere and unsolicited apology on behalf of his establishment. Who can be mad when someone hands you a free cheesecake? Well the pizza was decent and I was able to satiate my feeding frenzy and my wife enjoyed her gluten free pizza , which was much cheaper than other restaurant's gluten free pizza. Great Vegan Options! Great tasting pizza. You get what you pay for. A Vegan "Chicago Deep Dish Pizza" will run you around $30.00 (12"). We ordered the Florentina deep dish. The crust was awesome. The topping were weak, just lots of sauce. The pizza was tasty. There is VERY limited seating, more of a to-go location with late hours, open until 3:00 am. With a strong-sounding Italian name for a restaurant, and after passing it by on many occasions, I thought, "How bad could it possibly be?" Today, unfortunately, I found out just how bad it could be and I actually had to throw the food out because it tasted so bad it was not even edible -- something that I might do only 1 or 2 times a year, just because I hate to see food go to waste and I usually can stomach even a mediocre plate. They took a long time to fill the order, they messed up the order, which was a simple order off the menu that should be basic fare, the food tasted bad, it looked bad, it was greasy, and it was unappetizing in all material respects. A quick search then revealed the punch line, that this is a small franchise started by a non-Italian named Dmitry and that this location has been owned, managed, and operated by several different people from Belarus. The box said "Authentic Italian recipes," but that inspiration does not play out well here, and you are best off to avoid Sarpino's at all costs!!! read more

Family wanted pizza for dinner and I remembered someone had dropped off a take out menu where I work and a co-worker informed me that this place was good. Looked at their Yelp page and the food looked decent, so we decided to order for delivery and they deliver for free which is a big plus! We ordered an X-Large pepperoni pizza, Medium cheesy bread, Hot N' Spicy Buffalo wings, well done, and a 2 liter Dr. Pepper. So, their pizza wasn't bad. I like how you can choose how many slices you want. The crust is good and the amount of toppings were good as well. Not too much and not too little. I also like how you can choose 1 dipping sauce and they have a good amount of dipping sauce selections. The Cheesy Breadsticks; they were good as well. They serve it with 2 little cups of marinara sauce. Breadsticks weren't too thick or thin, but I think they would be a littler better if the cheese was a little more gooey. And their Hot n' Spicy Buffalo Wings-Well done; ehhh they were ok. Not good enough for the price you pay; $15.99 for 7 wings. I think that's a little pricey just for 7 wings. I was also expecting some kind of spice to the wings, but there were none whats so ever. To be honest, it seemed like I ordered their Plain wings. The only thing they got correct was the well done part. As a govermental institution we eat at a certain time. I ordered a simple deli pizza at 12:20 with a delivery time of 1:58. At 2:20, no pizza after their person, Alex if thats his real name, said it was 10 minutes away at 2:00. For a fast food place, this place is no longer reliable, and I venture to state probably has quality issues. So I'm a little fed up with this restaurant. They have okay vegan pizza, and I appreciate the option, but I'm not a huge fan of their food. However, what I do not appreciate is that on Uber Eats and Postmates, they've used two different names that made it seem like I was ordering from an exclusively vegan restaurant and that I was ordering something new. I stopped going here about a year or so ago when I realized Vegan Osteria (their name at the time on Postmates) was Sarpinos, and I got my food delivered and it was their packaging. I was just annoyed because if I'd known, I would have picked something different because I didn't want to order from this place. Or, I would have gone to Sarpinos in person and explained my allergies and had them make the food in person if that's what I felt like doing. So I felt robbed of that choice. Now they're going under the name The Outside Vegan Diner on Uber and Postmates, and it's not cool. Again, I thought I was ordering from an exclusively vegan restaurant with no contamination or anything to worry about, and I THOUGHT I WAS TRYING SOMETHING NEW. Can you imagine how annoyed you'd be if you thought you were going to try a new restaurant for date night and then your least favorite restaurant shows up at your door and you've paid $62 for food? I was beyond upset. Again, I appreciate the vegan menu. What I do not appreciate is y'all lying on Uber and Postmates. Why don't you just expand your menu under the correct name? I had to look at the take out menu to find prices and they were pretty steep for take out pizza. The sizes are smaller than usual and crust is very thick/doughy if that's what you like (like a Pizza Hut pan pizza). The large (14" I believe) vegetarian pie was over $25. Not worth the money in my opinion and without the gift card, I would have been pretty upset to be charged that much for the pizza size and quality received. I've been craving Sarpinos since someone came around my complex and put the menu in my door. So tonight. I called to place my order while driving so that I can pick it up on my way home from work and I was on hold almost 3 minutes before the lady picked up the phone and told me to hold on without any greeting or anything so at that point I told her that was OK because at this point I'm almost home and she just hung up in my face. The pizza was not good and not worth repeating. The dough is on the thicker side, which I wouldn't have minded if it would've tasted good. The marinara sauce is quite bland. Both pizzas were greasy. Since I've lived in Florida, moving from NY I haven't found a pizza place that could make me want to buy pizza until I discovered Sarpinos. I just had a rough week and I usually go there and grab a couple beers after I order and they are always so sweet. I ordered Uber tonight because I just couldn't get myself to leave my apartment after vet troubles, and I noted that on my order. They sent me more than what my order was and it just made me tear up.
