This is the worst place. No professionalism and incompetency of employees and owner. I ordered a pizza to be delivered. The driver claimed they could not find the place. I gave directions and driver lied and stated they were at the complex and could not find the apartment. We have security and they verified that the driver never came. I sent my daughter to pick up the pizza which they charged me for delivery. i asked for my delivery charge and the tip to be refunded. They advised that they could not refund the charges. I did not get what i ordered and they refused to give me my money back. This is considered theft by taking. The restaurant assistant was filthy and looked like she had not had a bath in months. The restaurant was nasty and roaches crawling around. I just want my money back. You can not keep my money when i did not receive my order. I will also contact the Better Business Bureau. I went in with a group of high school tennis players that were competing next door In a tournament. There was counters and stools for about 6 people. Make sure you check in on yelp to save $2. We ordered two large cheese pizzas, large pepperoni, side salad, 2liter of coke, and garlic sticks. All of this for about $40. The garlic sticks are an order of 6, but the owner said he could come them in half so there would be enough for everyone. They are plenty big even cut in half. They are tipped in garlic oil!!! The pizzas were thin crust and had a good amount of sauce and cheese. The pepperoni was topped nicely too. The owner provided us with plates and cups. This place is meant more for carry out but If you need to eat in you can. There is parking in the attached parking lot. I didn't see a customer bathroom. I was looking for a new pizza place in my neighborhood and was recommended to Jersey John's by one of my neighbors. We ordered via the slice app and it was super easy and they had a 5% discount offer. We ordered cheese pizza and garlic sticks for a family of 4. The slices were a perfect size and had great taste, but it was strong in seasoning. Both kids weren't crazy about it, but my wife and I liked it. Besides the seasoning, the crust was great, and the pizza was on the thicker side. The breadsticks were amazing, I haven't had sticks like that ever. They were perfectly made with the right amount of garlic and Parmesan cheese. We also got an order of cannoli's, it was 3 tiny cannoli's. Thankfully the kids don't like them, so we shared the 3, they were good, but just know that they're tiny. Overall we loved it, but gave it a 4 because I can see how kids or those that are not into seasoning won't like the pizza as much. read more

I'm not sure if they changed owners or recipes, but I've been coming here all my life, and today as soon as I opened the pizza box I knew something wasn't the same...and here I am trying to eat it and it's literally falling apart because whatever cheese is on it seems not as good as before. Again I'm not sure if they changed their recipe or maybe this pizza just wasn't done right, but I'll try this place one more time and if it's not how it has been for 20 years, I'll have to just find a new pizza place, which will be heartbreaking. What an epic fail! After researching and calling around we wanted to stay in today and get good food delivered. They were really friendly and some the pictures looked good - The first guy was really friendly who actually turned out to be the delivery driver - Who I gave an additional five dollar tip - on top of the $2.50 delivery charge. I called back and spoke with someone else and the order got messed up as my daughter does not eat any spinach or anything in the ravioli and I asked for butter and cheese - it came swimming in oil basically submerged the mozzarella cheese which was baked on top of it and covered in parsley I think. Outside of the ravioli being under done or just hard because it was baked in the oven - it was impossible for her to eat nor could anyone else. (Although the filling was tasty - which is what helped to get at least one star). The pizza was supposed to be the 18 inch size and we got the 16 inch delivered - also it was literally room temperature and hard. More importantly the screens that they use which I am not a very big fan of cooking pizza on screens (just sayin) - had some oil on it as there are burnt patches all over it and literally tasted like burnt ashes - see the pictures I will attach! We ordered garlic rolls and apparently they have knots - but they were not really proofed too well - so they were kind of thick and doughy. Being from Coney Island myself and literally just being there and in New Jersey a week ago - made me feel so much worse as the name of the place was somewhat misleading as this is certainly not food from up north. Sad. $50 bucks for lunch - and we might as well as flushed our $50 down the toilet next to the wet wipes we will all need to clean up this greasy mess :( read more

Worst Sicilian pizza I've ever had. The dough was way over cooked and had no flavor. I asked for extra sauce and they literally drowned the pizza on sauce. The crust of the pizza was burnt. When we politely told the Slice app people (Edward) we were told so sorry for your experience but there is nothing we can do, we told Jerseys John's pizza and they will try better next time. The pizza wasn't edible folks. So we had to order from some where else for our dinner last night. Stay away from this place. They don't follow through and act like it's your fault for a burnt pizza. No worries, keep my hard earned money. Everytime one of our friends says "Hey let's get pizza" our reply will be "Anywhere but Jerseys johns!" I think we have written maybe two complaints in 20 year, we are pretty easy going people. Congratulations you guys are the 2nd one and we waited until the next day to write it. Oh.... Jersey John's has some of the best "pizza place" wings in town. There you go. I said it. I'm not ashamed. They are breaded, crispy, meaty, and delicious. They have a variety of sauces that are served on the side. I don't know if you can order with the sauce on, but I would prefer that. Onto the pie, because it is really all about the pie. I mean, this is a pizza place after all. The crust is good and crispy, the toppings are fresh and ample, and the cheese and sauce have good flavor. They have delivery and are quick about it. What else can you ask for? It isn't my favorite pizza in town, but it is pretty good and one of the better local places around. If you want a break from the Papa or Hut, try Jersey Johns. The sauce was actually oil/grease that looked like it came out of the fryer and was disgusting. I ordered a pizza which came with lots of toppings. When it arrived it was covered with black olives. The onion, green peppers, mushrooms were slices so thin you could see thru them. The sausage and pepperoni were non existent and the pizza crust itself looked as if it had been fried in oil before any cheese or toppings were added, very hard and nothing chewy about it. "New" owner Anthony has taken the pizza place a step-up. I don't know for a fact that he has changed anything but everything tastes better. The sauce on the pizza and in the chicken parm is delicious and tastes home made. The fries are superb. The crust on the pizza is authentic New York. It's take out for the most part because they only have 4 stools where u can have something quick to eat, but most people order in (they have delivery and Uber eats) or pick up. Prizes are fair and reasonable. All employees are helpful and very nice. They have all sorts of sodas (bottled only). The place can use a deep cleaning in the front where customers gather but it's not a complaint, just an observation. They gave great daily specials... call or stop by. My expectations were set high for Jersey John's Pizzeria because of the amount of reviews compared to other places, and because of the name of the restaurant of course. As any other person from up north would say, I am picky when it comes to my pizza. I ordered a white pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni on top. (Weird combo, but I was craving it. Either way, my choice of pizza toppings shouldn't determine whether the actual pizza was good or not.) My friend called the pizza in and while she was on the phone I asked her to change the pepperoni for chicken. She texted me and told me the guy on the phone was giving her an attitude about it so we'd have to stick to pepperoni. Well ok... the pizza arrives. I won't even mention anything about the driver who delivered it..... let's just say next time I have food delivered I'll my boyfriend open the door! first off, I asked my friend if she ordered a small or medium pizza and she told me it was a large! I would've never guessed but I didn't mind because the pizza was only for me. The pizza was decent. The crust was not very good. I ate it because I ordered it but I was really hoping for a delicious pizza that reminded me of back home. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! Where do I begin with this review.....I was looking into Pizza restaurants in the area for a large order of 12 Pizzas for a Foster Children's Home event. I called Jersey John's and the manager was super helpful and transferred me to the owner to discuss pricing. The owner, Dylan, was extremely generous and kind hearted in providing me a HUGE savings with the order as well as delivery to the Children's Home, which is outside of their delivery zone. I called so many places, chains and smaller restaurants and no one offered to help like Dylan did. Not only did he save us a lot of $ but he made sure the order delivered on time, which it did and followed up the next day to make sure all went well with the Pizza at the event. The service and generosity showed speaks volumes as to who this man and restaurant is and I encourage anyone who is looking for a good local Pizza joint to give them a try. In addition, the Pizza was GREAT!! The kids, staff and volunteers loved it!! Thank you so much for coming through with a huge savings, a good product but an even greater level of heart!!! read more

I am always up for trying new things. That being said I wanted a place that wasn't a chain, a place that supports the local community. But I was unprepared for the product that I would receive. The pizza I received was almost tasteless. Especially for a pizza that was twice the cost of two pizzas from dominos yet was almost the size of medium there. I couldn't find any evidence of sauce being present and the cheese was skimped on. At $11 for a plain cheese pizza and an extra $2 to add a topping I expected a lot more. Honestly the only bright side of this experience was the Jerseys Cheese Bread. It had good flavor and was fantastic. And to my amazement it wasn't overpriced. Also the employees in the pines location seemed as though they had better things to do then help their customers. So unfortunately I will not be returning to this establishment because no one goes to a pizza place for a side dish. Didn't know where to order pizza from, I turned to yelp and they were the second option. I saw they were real close to my neighborhood, so why not. I called them and was promptly greeted by Wendy, who took my order, great energy over the phone, unlike little cesars. She took my order exactly as I told her to and was told pizza would be done in 20 minutes. As my bf and I got to the place, we were immediately greeted and was told our pizza was just about to come out. We met the owner, super nice guy along with his girlfriend. We were told it would be the best pizza ever. Well, he was right. By far one of the yummiest pizzas I've had in a really long time. The flavor was on point, not too thick and not too thin crust. No overwhelming tomatoe sauce. It was PERFECT. The toppings on the pizza was just the right amount. Very generous, I may add. We asked if we can have double cut and it was just splendid. Finally got the pizza and when we got home it felt undercooked. As we bit into it, the crust seemed raw and overall, it was soggy. Not sure if they just didn't make our order when it was placed and then rushed it, or if this is how their pizza normally is, but we did not eat it.
