My shoe size changes shoe to shoe and day to day it seems, so being able to try shoes on in-person is a necessity. The sheer number of shoes in the store is great! There are hundreds of options from huge brands and lesser-known designers. I would always recommend looking in the clearance section, too. The clearance section has a ton of great options for a discounted price (they even have some big brands back there sometimes). On my most recent trip I saw Crocs, TEVA sandals, Steve Madden, Betsy Johnson, and Birkenstocks in the clearance section! Whether you're looking for a casual shoe or a more formal option, DSW has you covered. I walked away with new tennis shoes and a pair of heels. If you're going on vacation soon, I noticed a ton of fun sandal and heel options! You can really shoe shop till you drop at DSW! The reason DSW loses a star, for me, is because of the checkout process. There always seems to be only one cashier when I'm there and it makes the line move pretty slowly. I wasn't in a rush so it was no big deal, but it has been frustrating in the past (especially when there's another associate nearby doing ... something else I guess). DSW has been our favourite shoe store for a long time. They have good deals on a lot of different shoes and this one in particular is huge and excellent in many regards. We come here whenever we can to look for the odd discount pair or something that we may not have seen in other stores. They are similar to the one in Pearland they will always be a regular destination for us and the staff here is nice as well. I've been to some DSW locations that were very dissatisfactory, but this one is one of the best.

Asked an associate who called into a remote handheld and then literally walked away with no answer. Went to the front cashier who couldn't answer but sent me back to hunting. Waited for 15 minutes at hunting for an associate to help 1 person. He asked if I needed anything but couldn't answer my original questions. Decided just to call it a day for this academy.

I asked her where the kids shoes were located and she said "on the back wall. Let me know if I can help." I said "great, i'll let you know." Literally 1 minute passed and she came back where I was acting like she was fixing shoe boxes (that were already neat!). So i moved down the wall a little more and she got closer. Who's been desiring to visit a real local urban sneaker shop. Hype Beast definitely delivers the drip for youth, men & women. Up to size 14 in men's. They also purchase Dead stock (brand new shoes) for market value. I personally love the security here, and the way these gentlemen was patient with my young man, on his first time experience visiting an authentic local shoe shop. He only tried a half dozen shoes on. Lol. They have a shoe event this month! With about 75 vendors attending. My teenager left here feeling inspired. Thank you both kindly.

However, the sales associates happily helped me search for it until we finally gave up. I then started looking for a large black bow tie, but they didn't have that either. The assortment of apparel on the men's side is good, but I wish they carried a couple more items. The service is great tho. Everyone from the sales associates to the cashiers were friendly and helpful. I ended up buying some socks and underwear which were at a great price. I saved about 30-40% of the original cost of the items. I'll come back again in the future when I have the time to really sort through the stacks.
