We eat a lot of sushi being from SoCal and this place was amazing!! The Cajun edamame was the best edamame I've ever had! We will be back

We like this AYCE sushi place. They have really great selections and good pricing. We enjoy this restaurant about 3 times a year Get a reservation, We highly recommend.

Solid all you can eat sushi spot. They have decent selection of items. We ordered so many rounds. The service was excellent and the sushi was fresh. Not that busy the day we went and the server was really good.

Stopped in for AYCE dinner and were able to be seated immediately. There was one server handling the entire floor and he stayed very busy. The restaurant had some cute decor, but we noticed right away there wasn't any music playing, which was a little odd. We ordered a bunch of nigiri, some handrolls, and a few sushi rolls to start. The nigiri was good, not the best we've ever had but pretty good. The spoon shooters were probably the favorite thing we ordered. The hand rolls were drowning in kewpie and were a little too sweet. We got two rolls, the Salmon Lover and the Kamikaze. The Salmon Lover was good, lots of salmon and not a ton of rice. The Kamikaze tasted like the crab and eel had gone bad. It immediately turned our stomachs and made us nauseous. We would have ordered more, but it made us nervous. The server was nice, but messed up a few things. We ordered tobiko with quail eggs and it came out without the quail egg. We ordered sake and he forgot it until we asked again. We asked for some tempura veggies and he forgot to put the order in. For dessert we asked for fried green tea ice cream and affogato. He brought out regular green tea ice cream first, and then took it back and brought out two fried green tea ice creams instead of one and an affogato.

Got greeted and seated right away but no server came for a least 15 min. They apologized for the wait but still no service. They had only one server this women which I thought was moving kind of slow. She was the only server for the whole resturant. To take orders and deliver the food. It's not a very big place about 10-12 tables. Two guys making sushi. One of the guys brought us water, my husband asked for a beer and told him we were ready to order. He left and finally the server came took our order. We ordered a shrimp roll, Lisa Lisa roll and a fresh eel roll. All the rolls were fresh and tasty but they were very small in size.( I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of it. I was so hungry) This was the 2nd time here. My neighbor recommended this place. The 1st time we came I don't remember much about the experience, It must have been good enough that we wanted to come back. This time I notice how small the sushi was. My husband said we probably won't come back.

All the staff greeted me. The place is out of the way and a hole in the all place but it is nice. Will come here again

Had a good casual lunch here! The katsu curry and yaki udon (pictured) were very hearty for a lunch portion, and delicious! Someone else in our party ordered the chicken katsu without curry, and her chicken cutlet was more fat than meat...Not what we expected abd some pieces were just inedible. Service was fine. Ambiance was ok, music seemed too loud for a midday lunch, with few people dining in. But pretty good experience overall!

I've driven past this so many times. I finally popped in. It's located in cheyenne fountains. Its kinda hidden off into the corner of the lot. Open from 11:30 to 9. Weekends a smidge later. They have AYCE sushi lunch and dinner. I paid $26. Plus tax. So, about $30 bucks for lunch. 9am -4pm. They dont offer lunch specials on friday and Saturday. They have a all day special for $32. Instead You can ask for half roll if you like. I wanted the sasa sushi roll, but it had cream cheese in it, which i can't eat. So they took it out for me. Sasa roll was fabulous. Like i mentioned, i changed the roll a smidge. 10k roll was sweet due to the mango salsa but it is seared, so it has that extra punch of flavor. Thick pieces of fish are used for the nigiri!

Sad to only give it three stars because some orders were forgotten, I could barely understand or hear our server, and I was disappointed because their garlic fries were literally just fries with a bunch of garlic powder.. I wanted the real garlic fries. Their rolls were tasty, but my favorite were the spoon shooters! Although it has a little bit of a kick to it, I definitely recommend. Restaurant itself was small, but people seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food. It was nice trying a new sushi restaurant since I'm new to the area, but it wouldn't be my first option.

Ask the Community - Sasa Sushi

    Do you take reservations?

They do. We always call ahead. We usually eat pretty early in the evening, so it’s not busy anyways; With they said, I would call for a table if you are planning any time after 7.

    Worse customer service?

Good customer service everytime I've been

    Do they do half rolls?

They have half rolls available for the all you can eat sushi. I am not sure if they sell half rolls individually or ala carte.

My entire office building wishes they opened earlier, we would be there once a week. Does anyone know the owners can we make this suggestion?

Hello. Thank you for reaching out. We are working on adjusting our business hours, now that things are slowly back to normal (hopefully soon). In the meantime, please email…

Do they have Uni on the AYCE menu?

    Yep

    What time is Happy Hour?

Happy Hour is 2pm to 5pm on weekdays

The only thing that stood out during that visit was that our server made us feel like we were ordering too much while taking our order, which was a little uncomfortable. Still, I enjoyed the food enough that I decided to come back for takeout. Unfortunately, my second experience changed my impression of the restaurant. I placed a takeout order totaling about $70 and waited at one of the many empty tables while my food was being prepared. There were no customers waiting to be seated, yet a staff member approached me and told me that the waiting area was by the door. I found that unnecessary and honestly quite offensive. I wasn't occupying a table that anyone needed, and I was simply waiting quietly for an order I had just spent a significant amount of money on. Prior to being shooed to leave the dining area, she asked if I would just come back for my order. Lol! It's disappointing to feel like takeout customers are treated differently, especially when they're supporting the business just the same. Not sure if it's a cultural way of doing business but it was tacky and unprofessional. The food is good, but customer service is just as important. I hope management reconsiders how they treat guests picking up takeout, because experiences like this can easily overshadow an otherwise enjoyable meal. I give their food 3.5/5, price 2.5/5, location 2/5 (next to a donation place) customer service 1/5, and business ethics ZERO.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for either a casual dinner or a date night. I ordered the chicken katsu, and it was everything you want in a great katsu -- perfectly golden, ultra-crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy inside. You could actually hear the crunch with every bite. The tonkatsu sauce paired beautifully, adding just the right balance of sweet and savory without overpowering the chicken. The portions were generous (come hungry!), and I loved that the meal came with rice and fried rice -- because honestly, why choose just one? Both were flavorful, fluffy, and clearly made fresh. Across the table, the steak looked incredible -- cooked well, nicely seasoned, and plated simply so the quality of the meat could shine. Everything tasted homemade rather than overly commercial, which is something I always appreciate. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food came out quickly while still tasting freshly prepared -- a combo that isn't always easy to find.

I went with the 12 piece toku-jo sushi, which is essentially the chef's selection of their best offerings. The assortment was so creative and eclectic. I have been eating sushi for years, and there were some pieces I didn't recognize. But everything was downright delicious and so fresh, including one of the most yummy fatty pieces of otoro I have ever had! The staff are so sweet and attentive. There were several ladies who seemed to be sharing hostess and server duties. All were so kind and struck the perfect balance between ensuring everything with the experience was perfect, but not being too overbearing or obtrusive. One of the sushi chefs even came out to personally deliver a dish to the table next to me, and she made a quick stop to ask me if I was enjoying her creations. The downsides. I was by myself and arrived just after opening at about 5:20pm. The place was totally empty except for one single table. I didn't have a reservation, and the hostess was really agonizing about seating me. I was by myself and the place was empty! She even had to go in back and presumably speak with the manager or the chefs to get approval to seat me, which she finally did. But by the time I departed at about 6:15pm, only one other table had arrived and seated! I just find stuff like that annoying. But I guess they take their reservation policy seriously, so just call ahead, especially if you are a group. It appears they are closing soon for renovations. I sure hope that includes upgrading their air conditioning. Granted I visited on a 113 degree day, but the A/C system was not keeping up. I was sweating at my table, and actually accelerated my eating so I could leave and get back into he comfort of the cold AC of my car. It was that hot in there. A Las Vegas restaurant MUST be prepared to provide a comfortable environment on even the hottest of days. My waiter didn't quite do an eye roll, but he did tell me nigiri is sushi. My bad! Lol Ok so I asked if I could get 6 eel nigiri, and he said it was chef's choice. He asked my sushi chef and he said no, but he would do half. I thought that was generous of him and thanked him. I also ordered a side of kimchi. I was given a little tray of wasabi, ginger and marinated cucumbers along with my kimchi. The kimchi was surprisingly light and not spicy at all. It tasted fresh as did my ginger soy cucumber slices. What a perfect start! And then came my meal. It was stunning. Glistening eel with generous portions is what I dug into first. My other sushi chef caramelized the eel sauce on my nigiri last time. This chef did not. I didn't dare say anything as it was clear my chef was the senior, but the other fellow did a really beautiful job last time. It makes such a difference.
