It's been awhile since we tried Yoshiharu Ramen. They're still fantastic. Located in the Crossroads Town Center, there are plenty of parking spaces in the front. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, Spicy Dragon Roll, and the Spicy Tuna Roll. You can add additional toppings in your ramen or simply ask them to remove certain ones. I recommend keeping all of their toppings because it brings out the delicious flavor. Service was great and friendly. The ambiance is welcoming and there isn't loud music playing. No avocado or cucumber inside, it was just spicy tuna. While our server was pleasant, the timing of the bill felt rushed. She asked to bring the check while we were still eating, assuring us we could stay as long as we liked. However, instead of a paper bill, she placed an active card reader on the table. We felt obligated to stop eating to settle the payment right then. I was a little taken aback walking in and realizing the restaurant is under new management, especially when I learned the menu had changed completely. They no longer offer the large selection of items they used to, which was disappointing -- especially for my daughter. Her disappointment grew when her California roll arrived. It was literally just imitation crab and rice, with no avocado or cucumber. Their rolls seem to be very basic. The calamari was decent; the spicy dipping sauce was actually the highlight. The spicy Tonkotsu Ramen had good flavor but the portion felt small, especially considering the price. On a positive note, the salmon roll was good. The restaurant itself is very pretty and thoughtfully designed, and the atmosphere is genuinely pleasant. The service was also decent and friendly. Under new management, I'm not sure when the switch happened but it's definitely unfortunate. I really loved the options from the old menu. New menu is a lot more simplified. They were out of the spicy paste so we couldn't order any. They forgot my shrimp tempura roll, I should've just cancelled the order. Even though it was only 4 pieces. They weren't worth eating. It was worse than commissary sushi. Gummy rice, the shrimp tempura was more of the panko fried style over traditional tempura. The crab mix was wet and mushy. We had one regular tonkotsu and a black garlic. The black garlic was only slightly better because it added more flavor. The broth itself wasn't very rich or deep. The food has changed with new management. The temperature of the ramen was also just barely warm. It's starting to get cold outside so if you're expecting to come in and get some nice hot soup that touches your soul, you might not find it here. The portion size is a lot smaller and the bowls itself have minimal toppings with of course an upcharge to add any additional compared to the old bowls I'm really sad because this was the only decent ramen place on the north side that was close by. Now I'll have to find a new spot. I don't like the menu enough to return. I will say, the noodle texture is great. But the broth really left me unsatisfied. We came in around 8pm on a week night. They only had 2 tables that were occupied, a few tables were dirty but with only 1 server who juggled multiple roles with patience and finesse. He greeted diners walking in, took phone orders, took orders from diners, bussed tables, and took payments. He's the only reason why this review isn't 1 star. Edamame: It's hard to not like edamame. But they just poured salt on this bowl of edamame. I had to scrape off all the salt. 1/5 Gyoza: Did it taste like it was freshly made in house? No. 1/5 Tonkotsu Miso Ramen: The noodles were hot but the broth was cold. Generous serving of chashu though. 3/5 Tonkotsu Spicy Black Ramen: Again, the noodles were hot but the broth was cold. This was my first time trying Yoshiharu although I live near this location. I ordered takeout and overall really enjoyed it. I'm not a huge fan of pork Chashu which can be a bit too fatty for me, but I did like the spicy tonkotsu broth as well as the shrimp tempura roll. I didn't love that there is a different price for the rolls depending on if you're eating in the restaurant or out of the restaurant and I don't think four pieces of sushi is worth 8.99 although the roll was delicious. Maybe it's just me, but I was pretty disappointed. The 4.3 rating really set my expectations high, especially for the tonkatsu ramen, and it just didn't deliver honestly closer to a 4/10 for me. I asked for spicy and there was no heat at all. The flavor profile was off, and the purple onions completely overpowered everything else that's basically all I could taste. The boiled egg was also a miss; the texture was very soft, almost flan-like, and it fell apart. I didn't even finish the bowl. To make it worse, it's pricey $46 for one ramen and two beers (with tip) is steep, especially when I usually pay around $32 max elsewhere for a similar order. New spot located off of Decatur & the 215. Glad they are opening new spots like this in the area. They have table and booth seating here, it's pretty spacious inside and not too loud. The staff was very attentive and kind, but there weren't too many options here with the allergies I have sadly. Of course I had to start with the edamame and the spam musubi! The ramen is too salty and not hot enough. When the ramen came out, there was no steam coming from the broth. A traditional Japanese ramen place has steam coming from the broth when it is served to you. The broth for tonkatsu and chicken were salty. They do give you a decent amount of meat with the ramen. The pork in my tonkatsu miso ramen and the st louis ribs were to die for! Some of the juiciest and fall off the bone meat I've had. The broth and spice level were just right for my taste buds (level 2). We also had the pan seared gyoza, which was pretty good as well. The only complaint we had was that upon entering the restaurant there was a strong egg/sulfur smell that almost made us turn around and leave. The food was pretty good, I feel like it's a solid 4.5 stars. I wish we could give half stars because I feel like it's worth more than four, but not quite five. They were out of about 75% of the menu when we went at lunchtime, and they're buying five star reviews with free menu items which I am not a fan of. If it wasn't for the shady practice of buying five star reviews, I think their rating would be a bit lower. I probably would've given it five stars if it wasn't for the inflated rating due to this. Yoshiharu Ramen NLV is a ramen restaurant located in North Las Vegas. Their flagship restaurant is considered to be the number one ramen restaurant in Orange California by the O.C. Register. They have over ten locations in California and one location in Ontario and this location in North Las Vegas. They opened in a previous failed ramen restaurant location. The good news is that this New Ramen Restaurant is many times better than the previous ramen restaurant that was in this spot. They make real pork bone broth here. The previous restaurant used a soup mix in their pork broth and it was horrible. The biggest downside I noticed here is that the menu does differ from the website menu. Anyways- We started off by sharing the Crispy Spicy Tuna. It was DELICIOUS! It was so much better tasting than the last crispy spicy tuna I had somewhere in Chinatown. My only peeves is that is was hard to eat because of the way it was shaped and also because the rice was a little too crispy today. But it was delicious. This is what Crispy spicy tuna is suppose to taste like. I planned to get a meal that was listed on-line but is not on the menu here so I went with the Tuna Lover Roll. It was a good roll with good flavors and some heat that sneaks up on you. The rice also held together so that is a good thing. My husband tried the Tonkotsu Spicy Black Ramen with extra added Pork Chashu. He said that the pork in it was very good. He didn't think that the broth wasn't spicy today. We noticed that the photo shows 6 pieces of Tofu but we were served only 4. We brought it up to the server just so he's aware that it's misleading and to let management know. My family and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday around 11:30. It was fairly busy inside. Victoria seated us immediately and we sat in a booth table towards the kitchen area. The restaurant was well-decorated and the ambiance was casual. Yoshiharu first opened in 2016 with their original restaurant in Orange County California. There are a variety of Yoshiharu Ramen restaurants in California, but this is their first location in Las Vegas! Yoshiharu's menu consisted of Ramen, Bento Boxes, rice bowls, and Sushi. There are some appetizers available too like Korokke, Deep Fried Tofu, and Calamari. When the team member brought over menus and waters, she had informed us that they just started the fryer and that any fried foods could take 15-20 minutes longer, than a ramen bowl. Knowing that, we decided to order two appetizers first, the edamame and the gyoza, grilled. For an entrée we had ordered the following Tonkotsu Black ($18.00) Tonkotsu Spicy Miso ($17.50 - level 3) Tonkotsu Shoyu ($16.50) Bento Box (Rib Eye Beef) ($20.00) We waited about 10 minutes for the appetizers. The edamame was good. It had a little bit of salt topped on top of the vegetable. My daughter and I split the edamame. The grilled gyoza was delicious! The soy sauce provided with it was a great enhancement to the gyoza. I had a few bites dipped into the sauce! I normally get gyoza deep fried, but I would get the grilled gyoza again! When we placed the entrée order, we let Victoria know to have the ramen come out at the same time as the bento box. With the fryer not fully operational we wanted to make sure the ramens came out at the same time. The Rib Eye Beef Bento Box came with [1] Gyoza, [1] Shrimp, [1] Egg Role, Rice, [4] Sushi rolls, salad, and the beef with cabbage/carrots. It was delicious!! The Rib Eye beef was so flavorful. We got the Octopus karaage, gyoza, and shrimp tempura. All were super good, hot, crispy, and fresh. My personal favorite was the octopus. My boyfriend really liked the tempura. When it comes to the food, the Tonkotsu Ramen was creamy and flavorful without being overly salty. The bamboo spoon helped with experiencing the flavor. Chashu was a little firm, but still easy to chew, and the flavor was mild as to not distract from the rest of the bowl's elements. Been wanting to try this place for awhile, had the opportunity today. Didn't know this was part of a California chain. Kuniko was the server. The restaurant was empty when we got there but several patrons came in as we were leaving. Service was ok. My dining partner had the vegetable ramen, I ordered the tonkatsu black and we ordered an order of pan fried gyoza for an app. Oh and tea as a beverage. On to the food.... The gyoza (5) were ok, nothing special. The veggie ramen broth was salty according to my dining partner and not very hot. The ramen noodles were ok. My tonkatsu black was unremarkable, the broth was warm not hot, a little fatty. There were two pieces of pork, not very tender. There was no soft boiled egg and the veggies were sparse. The ramen noodles were ok. Some other things to consider, We ordered tea, they don't have it by the pot, but you get a little plastic cup with a teabag, six dollars for two? Not even in a teapot for effect? Way overpriced even in this day of rising food costs . The wooden soup spoons are an authentic touch, but I wonder how they are washed and sanitized. Maybe the lacquer cover is dishwasher safe. (They were also stored wrong at the serving station with the eating surfaces upward). They do have a selection of beer and sake. Final opinion, overpriced, maybe more of a place for folks that like the idea of ramen and and some similar dishes, but not truly authentic to someone who has experienced real ramen in a noodle place or ramen bar. In a city like las vegas, there are many many better choices around. They did have one redeeming factor in that they give a military discount. Would I return? Probably not for a meal, but maybe with a group to have some beers and an app. At a place close by kind of thing. Think the "Panda Express" of ramen I.e. comparing Panda Express to a real authentic Chinese restaurant. read more

The new management is terrible. We used to love this place because the portions were big and they offered a different variety of ramen to choose from. The menu has been completely sliced in half. My ramen was luke warm, I let the server know.....they stuck it in the microwave to heat it up, which caused the noodles to become mushy. Ramen comes basic, you have to pay extra for any toppings including the Nori, which is crazy because the Ramen itself is pretty expensive for the portion they give you.The California roll was so sad looking, imitation crab salad rolled in rice and seaweed. They didn't even offer ginger along side either. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

This used to be our favorite ramen spot but the recent change in menu is a disappointment. Only 5 choices of basic ramen and yet they were out of 1. The ramen broth is now mediocre and barely more than lukewarm. Used to get a full egg, now only half of one. The noodles changed too, felt more like Al dente angel hair pasta. Over all, I'll just start trying new places as there isn't a need for me to go back here anymore. Bummed. read more

What's with the lousy rap music in a Japanese restaurant? What's wrong with nice, soothing, not too loud traditional Japanese music? Not too pleasant while eating. Good food quality. The $4 and $6 sushi rolls look like a good value on the menu but they adjust the size down by a third to half, to only 4 pieces, so not a value. Other menu items are priced ok, not great. Service is odd, there was nothing on table we didn't have to ask for: plates, chop sticks, soy sauce, ginger,napkins. Understaffed. Not a horrible experience but no need to go there again. read more
