I went to the new location in Upland and will be the last. The girl that cut my hair doesn't know how to cut a blunt bob. I show her a picture of how I wanted the cut and she cut one side shorter and the other side longer. I can't believe that she even took pictures of my hair !! What kind of stylist does not check their clients hair before making sure everything looks good on the hair. This salon definitely needs to hire stylists that know how to cut hair. I'm not sure about this lady how can she say she has five years of experience. They have lost my business for sure !! Don't go to that salon because obviously they don't care about the clients hair . Last week was my second visit to Sassy Do's. Both times I did color and was completely satisfied. J did my hair and she does a great job. I'm 6 months new to the area and I think I have found my new hairdresser. I'm not picky but she knows exactly what my needs are to cover my stubborn grays and what looks nice for my age & face. I really like this salon. The first time there another stylist did an updo for my daughter. Pics attached. My only tip is to pay cash. The other stylist charged a CC fee. But a customer for another stylist didn't charge a fee. Nowadays everyone pays with a card. That was a small inconvenience. read more

What a ULTIMATELY UNPROFESSIONAL salon. I made 2 appointments for a mini makeover for my God daughter and self. Sent over photos of actual and our visionary look, to determine the amount of time the salon needs to perform the services. Ok cool all well up to this point, THEY give me the appt time 2pm... awesome worked out with our schedules as well cause we have an event to attend the following day. I get a text to call the salon, I speak to Araceli, she informs me that the am client was 1 hour late to her appt and therefore, they cannot fulfill my 2 appts today.... I have always been nervous about venturing out to new stylists so I'd travel over an hour to my usual gal & pay A LOT of money. It was urgent that I get my hair done today because I have something very important coming up in 3 days. I called Sassy Do's & they were more than willing to fit me in last minute to get my hair dyed, toned & cut. I scheduled my appointment for 4pm but realized I was able to go sooner so I called at 230pm & asked if it was ok if I came in at 3pm. They said of course & rescheduled me for 315pm. Everyone was very busy yet they were friendly and I can't say enough good things about Gabe who colored and cut my hair. Went in for a much needed treatment and came out w an amazing Balayage color from Jeannete! Thank you! I was so scared because I have always had dark brown hair and loved it. However, i wasn't very good at taking care of my hair and needed to get in ASAP. I was lucky to get a same day appointment, possibly because i booked it early on a week day. In any case when I arrived the staff was pleasant and fast to get me started. Jeannete sensed my fear of color and listen closely to what i wanted and advised me on what she thought would work best. I booked an appointment with Kirsten for a wash, cut, and style. I went from really long hair to a long bob and she perfected it. She made my hair look and feel amazing. I loved getting my hair done so much that I decided to come back again another day to dye my hair. Again, I made an appointment with Kirsten. She was very knowledgeable when I asked her questions about hair care at home, what products I should use to maintain the color longer, and helped me choose what color I should do. My lovely wife scheduled over a week ahead with Darlene and took off of work for the event and everything because it's the first time she's had her hair done in a long time. Darlene didn't want to work on a Friday night and told her "I don't have time to do anything like that" when my wife showed up for her appointment. Mind you she had selected both cut and color and that's all you can do, so it was basically Darlene. This review is on false advertising ,and false accusations ! First of all I dont appreciate receiving a phone call from Dario Zazueta just now in regards to a refund that was owed to me pertaining to the false advertising of a woman's hair cut for first time clients that was supposed to be $25! I originally had made a comment on how amazing the customer service was , but after this phone call I wouldn't recommend going there ! I went in with my little girl to get our hair cut and styled on thanksgiving eve! My hair stylist Lulu was amazing and very sweet . I dont have anything negative to say about my experience with her. I didn't appreciate that Jeannette my daughters hair stylist got bothered when i paid and asked why i was overpaying the price of what was quoted in the Facebook special "$25 first time clients only" it doesn't specify long hair or short hair! Regardless the fact of the matter is that she said , because my daughters hair is long it was more money! Just to clear up something i don't mind paying $50,$100 dollars if needed , but what i do mind is misleading customers especially first time clients of the wrong wording on the advertising of $25 special! Marissa the owner was very sweet and overhead the conversation between us at the counter. She then apologized for the lack of communication regarding the special and offered a free hair treatment for both of us! I thanked her and paid $50for my cut plus $10 tip and my daughters was $35 still with $10 tip! I left and appreciated her trying to make things better as a first time customer. But then Dario responded to a comment I made on Sassy Do's page about the overcharge and he asked me to come in and they would refund $10 for the overcharge because of there error. I thanked him and appreciated his attempt on correcting there error. I went in yesterday with my husband to pickup the money and a hair stylist asked if we had an appointment? I told her no and didn't want to really explain the situation so I showed her the message Dario sent for the refund and she said oh "I don't know anything about that" and called another girl. The other girl said hold on and after a few minutes she came back bothered and said "here's your ten dollars" I thanked her and left! Now this is why im upset I started the review saying Dario called Me today which he did and he was confrontational in the phone call and said " why did you come Into the salon making a scene yelling where other customers can here "? Well this is a false accusation And i dont appreciate a phone call accusing Me of something i never did ! With that being said I will definitely take my business else where! I like being honest and i never like giving a bad review but the phone call was really uncalled for! What kind of business calls a customer especially a new client and is demanding answers and accusing the client of something that's false! Well there's a thing called Karma and im a firm believer in that. Im a very nice person and i wasn't being rude at all in fact im far from being rude and hoped for an apology, but sadly i didn't even get that ! Also I read on the reviews of how they offered water , coffee, or mimosas and sadly we didn't get offered anything! Just wow that's all I can say! ! Please do yourselves a favor and get your stories right because you never called me at all like you said on your response here ! Also the photo I included says style ,wash ,and cut so I don't understand why your stating otherwise! And my daughter is eleven not ten that's why the stylist booked it as a woman haircut!
