This is the only place I go for my nails and toes. I love Kevin and Tracy! They are the best. Both very experienced, professional perfectionists. Manager is very sweet and you can most likely get in if you call ahead or come during the week. The salon is new and modern and they have tons of gel colors. In my opinion Sassy Nails is the best salon in Manassas. I'm not one to get my nails done every two weeks or whatever but I have been to a few salons in the area and I keep coming back to Sassy. My first ever manicure experience was with Color Nails and it was a nightmare... I will never forget my nails for my high school graduation. I've gone to Urban which was very friendly, and Tokyo which was also very friendly. However, with both places I was not satisfied with the result. The design would be obviously crooked or would peel/chip within 5 days (Regular wear and good care :-/ ). With Sassy, my nails have always been done exactly how I want them. I'll leave going goo goo over how good they look. I will say the only reason I don't give 5 stars is because they do lack a tad in the customer service aspect. I've gone in once and my tech spoke no more than 5 words to me and checked her phone constantly... That was annoying but of course that was once out of the many times I've been there. Usually they're just pretty quiet or only talk amongst themselves. That's fine by me, I'd rather have my nails done perfectly by someone silent, than badly by a friendly acquaintance. No one at work sees the experience you received, they see the work done on your nails and like I said, I have been more than satisfied with the quality every time. read more

Love this place! Stopped in around 5:30 on a Friday night and even though they were pretty busy, they seated me and began work right away! I was blown away by how nice and welcoming the staff was - everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. You can tell the employees take pride in their work based on how clean and organized everything was. They really go above and beyond compared to other salons; they even have different Bath and Body Works soaps at the mani sink! They also use a parafin wax I had never seen before but it smelled amazing and made my hands so smooth. The technician really took her time and didn't rush at all. I also really liked that they had a lot of variety in their nail color choices, both regular and gel. They had a ton of different bright and nude colors as opposed to only a few shades of red. I went in yesterday with my mom for a manicure and pedicure. Prices - about the same from any other place in Manassas. I think it actually is one dollar less. Cleaness - pretty good which is something that I appreciate because people who have a low immune system can get really sick when a nail salon does not follow hygine guidelines. Service - this is why I don't give then 5 starts and to me they are really 3 1/2. While, my nails and my mom's nails came out great what I didn't like is that at the beginning my nail tech insisted that I should get shellac or gel. At first I told her no thank you, but she keept in insisting (I hate when people do that because I feel like if I don't agree to what they want the service is going to be bad which in their defense was not true on this case) so I had to be very firm and said no, I don't like it. Then, the other nail tech ask my mom . At least she wasn't as insisting as mine. That being said, is one of the best places in manassas. In the future I would like to try their facials and update this review. read more

A great salon to go to anytime. The staff are friendly, they do a great job on my nails and always fit me in right away..even without an appointment. Recently I got my eyebrows micro bladed at the salon by the owner. She did an amazing job and the price was great! I was really nervous about permanent color but they look so natural and she let me watch her work the whole time using a mirror. I get so many compliments on my brows and nails. i have been going to sassy nails for over a year now. I've gotten manicures, pedicures, and my eyebrows ombred as well. always very inconsistent. The owner did my eyebrows and they looked awful. they were unevenly filled once they healed, and faded within 2 months. she has said if I needed a touch up o would have to pay full price again. The nail techs are all nice, but inconsistent in their work quality. The only nail tech who I trusted to always deliver was Rico, and the reason I kept going once I met him. He ended up quitting and moved to a different salon. I tried to stay loyal and went back two additional times. Helen did my nails and did a decent job. This last time I went, the owner worked on my fill, acrylic, two colors, matte finish. I have been charged always $45 for a fill. She upcharged me $5 just to use the Matte topcoat instead of the gloss. The nails are atrocious. Uneven, lumpy, thick, and streaky. It looks like they have already had a few days of growth and I just got them done yesterday, This was the last straw for me. i will no longer be going back and am looking for a new salon. read more

A few weeks ago, I went to this nail shop, in my business attire and wanted to talk to the manager about the issue my sister had with their service that day. I even asked if we could briefly and quietly talk face to face because this is her business, I am professional and don't want this to attract attention or make a scene. She said I "sorry I Can't resolve this issue with you so maybe the police can help you instead" and proceeded to call the police on me. The police wasn't convinced they needed to come but then she walked to the back, said some lie to them and they were in the way. It doesn't matter how much you make, your good deeds, or education... you are black and the police will handle you. I continue to Pray for this world we live in and advise people to avoid patronizing businesses that don't respect their customers when hey have an issue with the service they provided. read more

I alway thought nail salons are for woman, but after the great experience I'm convince it's not. If you want your hands and nails looking clean. The place was recommended to me by a friend. She said they would do a good price and that they were within a reasonable price. COMPLETELY WRONG. I came in knowing I wanted a gel pedicure. I was told to head to the back and then someone would assist me. I WAITED 15 min before someone even came to ask me what I wanted... once I got seated the women helping me kept trying to get to me change what I wanted to get because it "took longer." I thought to myself why would that matter? That I didn't care but she kept trying to get me to switch to regular. I told her "no!" But now I wish I would have agreed. Moments later another employee came in and told her that her next customer would be here in 10 min. Next thing I knew I was being rushed through a while pedicure in 10 min. I WAS ALSO CHARGED $75 just for a gel pedicure and it did not include what half of the other salons do. She barley scrubbed my feet, no massage and barley took off my old nail polish. OVERALL, STAY AWAY!! I wish I would have gone to my usual salon in the manassas mall. It's cheaper, better and they care about their customers. read more

Anne somehow managed to cut my finger open to the point of bleeding with a nail file! She continued with the service like nothing happened and when I said something about it she abruptly stood up and sent another nail tech to finish the service. As a cosmetologist, I know the blood safety rules when an exposure incident happens and this place does NOT follow it. I watched to see what would become of said nail file after it was exposed to my blood and when I noticed it wasn't disposed of, another nail tech said "we sanitize our files." !?!! Nail files are porous which means they are a DISPOSABLE implement and should be disposed of after each use. Here's to hoping I don't get an infection. Also, here we are a day later and my gel polish is chipped. I will NEVER return here and I hope Virginia State Board shuts this place down. read more

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this salon that I have been going to almost monthly for the last couple yesterdays. Two days ago I received a pedicure and the following day the polish was cracked and uneven, like when the nail polish is old or expired. I went back today to see if they could fix my polish and get a gel manicure. The lady who worked on my nails looked at my toes, touch the paint, and chipped it off and then offered to fix it. She never once mentioned if it would cost anymore or if I called saying they were messed up. When I went to pay she proceeded to tell me it was $50 for a polish change and a manicure even though I had just been there two days prior. Since she did not originally paint them, even though someone else at the salon did, she was charging me. As soon as I get into the car and look at my toes, again cracked uneven paint. I have now paid twice, for bad nail polish and will not be returning. read more

Upon arrival I was greeted and asked what services I would like and to "pick your color." They ushered me back in a timely manner and had a pedicure station ready. A first grade girl was next to my chair, her mother works at the salon. While I was getting a rough pedicure in scalding hot water, that I repeatedly asked the temperature be lowered, the little girl would not leave me alone. I was very sweet and kind to her but her mother should have attended to her, not me. She proceeded to tell me that I wasn't very smart because I wasn't winning "I Spy" and kept on the game for my entire mani/pedi. She also had to touch my toes to see "if they are dry yet." Causing them to be smudged. She also rocked my manicure chair for a repeated offense. I paid them $65 to babysit a first grader. I will not be returning. read more
