My wife had the special, grouper with shrimp. It was well plated and delicious. I ordered the seafood fettuccine, mussels, clams, shrimp scallops and whitefish over fettuccine. Again, tasty and nicely plated. Tiramisu finished off the meal. It's a little hard to find, so call for directions if you have any questions about where they are.

This was a good thing because my husband got the lasagne. The smallest piece of dried out looking lasagne was placed in front of him. I could not eat all of my ravioli. They were handed off to hubby. When we asked for bread, we were told 'they had a party that afternoon and she would look and see if there was any left'!!! It's a completely diff restaurant. Now they have a very small menu printed on computer paper of basic (boring) Americanized Italian dishes like spaghetti and fettuccine Alfredo and pizza, only a handful of wines (like basic red or white), no more after dinner liqueurs, a short basic cocktail list, and to be honest, service was not great. Our food took an hour to get to us and was cold. The kitchen looked like they were working without a head chef and was staffed by a couple of young boys who looked straight out of high school (no ageism intended but clearly they were misguided and are not professionals). The tomatoes in our Caprese salad were mushy and over ripe. The eggplant parm was dry and cold. We complained and were able to get some money off the bill but we are so extremely heartbroken by the drop in quality! For the prices they are charging they are smoking crack. We likely won't be back unless they go back to they restaurant they used to be. I won't be surprised to see this one go out of business if this is the route they continue to take. :(

Hubby got the meat calzone, it had one most beautiful crusts I've seen in a while and he said it was delicious! I ordered the chicken parm which came with a side salad and bread. The chicken parm warmed my heart! That's how it used to come at the restaurant I worked at and the bread.. I could eat 10 of them! Food is delicious! When our meal came out it was split into two plates because they knew we were sharing. A nice touch. And it was served steaming hot and delicious! I think it's the best dish they serve, and I order it every time when I'm in town in Athens once a year. Order this with a fried egg on top and thank me later. Being solo and from out of town, I grabbed an early dinner at the bar upstairs, which is, frankly, a lot nicer than the downstairs dining room. The bone-in pork chop i ordered was very good but not mind blowing, but I enjoyed it along with its accompaniments, those being mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. It appeared they staffed up for Valentine's Day this year. There were three bartenders working the food and drink orders at the bar upstairs. I washed both meals down with sweet tea as one does. The service was great. Cheers!
