I went here after binging food network cooking competitions. The not so good first. I got their rueben as this is my staple sandwich I get if I try someplace that offers it. I couldn't really taste the corned beef which is really hard to do. I opened the sandwich and took some pieces out that tasted just plain burnt. I also would have liked some fries with it or chips but you only get a tiny cupcake with some not so great whipped cream on top. Their cupcakes have a good texture and are moist but they fall flat. I got a Boston cream and red velvet cupcake and they both basically tasted the same. The Boston cream didn't have any cream in it which was dissoppointing. The red velvet didn't taste much different and had that same not so great whipped cream on it instead of cream cheese frosting which is usually the norm. Onto the good stuff I got their death by chocolate cupcake and would definitely recommend it! Their peanut butter and chocolate ganache is a definite repeat as well and had amazing flavor. Their lemon frosted cookie was also delicious and had a really good texture. What I would recommend to the owner is changing out the whipped cream and use a butter cream instead and come up with a cream cheese frosting for the red velvet. With the Boston Cream, I cannot be the only one who would be expecting the center to be filled with a nice vanilla cream or custard of some kind, so I would also make that change. read more

We like it all. My mom likes the Rueben sandwich, I get a veggie sandwich (turkey avocado minus turkey), my daughter gets a 1/2 and 1/2 combo and likes the chicken salad sandwich. Did I mention the sweets. The sweets. On your plate you get the tiniest two bite red velvet cupcake and it DELICIOUS. We get the giant homemade Oreo cookies pies, we like the lemon iced cookies and the orange iced. I could go on and on! The staff are very kind and friendly. Love it and will keep coming. I had the BLT sandwich and I was skeptical about the honey mayo but wow it changed the flavor profile of the whole sandwich. I didn't have bacon on mine but the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and delicious. Eggs were perfectly over medium. Bread was toasted golden brown. Absolutely devoured that sandwich! Hubby got the biscuits and gravy which he said were tasty and very rich and buttery. He also had the bacon from my sandwich which he determined to be microwaved, but still yummy. Filled him up quickly. Hashbrowns were a bit oily and we couldn't find any ketchup to punch up the acidity. The staff was obviously very busy but they were still attentive and performing their duties well. We were told our food would take 35 mins but it came out right around the 20 min mark. Overall we enjoyed the food very much. Service was 'counter service'. They were pleasant but not extremely involved. A nice little breakfast place! read more

This was our first time eating at this cafe. We went for breakfast and got off to a good start. Our food came out quickly and tasted very good. However, my son ordered the all you can eat hotcakes. One of the three hotcakes was undercooked. When he asked for his second plate, he was told that it would take a few minutes. After asking two more times and waiting at least 20 minutes, he finally got his second plate. They were all under cooked. It's a shame that poor service ruined what would otherwise have been a great experience. read more

We've enjoyed Main St location for years, and enjoyed this location a few times. I was a little worried when I read the more recent negative reviews but took a chance and am glad we did-food (French toast for me, cinnamon French toast for him) was excellent as usual. Servers were young-so what? The place was clean and service was friendly. Husband even commented the coffee (which other reviewers complained about) was delicious. Meal was expensive, but there's no such thing as an inexpensive meal unless you want to eat at home. We will definitely be back in the future. read more

Our Go to breakfast spot, always try to go here at least once a week! Weekends are more busy but always worth it! From the breakfast burrito to the breakfast deluxe blt always leave satisfied and full. Decent sized portions of everything! Will be back next week again! read more

I really wanted to love this place, it's got its kinks. Their sandwiches seem to all come grilled with butter rather than just toasted bread. It's not the healthiest method, and when I'm ordering a turkey sandwich I have in mind getting something on the lighter side. And too much butter. I feel it should come with a side as well for the price, sandwiches come with a tiny cupcake on the side rather than potato salad or fruit, etc. As for the staff, just young kids that are a little icy, not very friendly. Lastly, while I know we're on the other side of the pandemic, I would still prefer if people handling my food were masked, and no staff is masked there. read more

First time eating at this new location. Cheesesteak (with provolone cheese?) and Ruben sandwiches were mediocre at best - not very tasty and fairly small - light on meat. Two sandwiches with drinks (no chips) and tip was over $30. Lots of other sandwiches and salad on the menu but these were disappointing. read more

I went for the very first time on Tuesday this week at the recommendation of my daughter in law. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It was just awesome and the syrup excellent. Went again this morning (Thurs) and had the Senior Breakfast Special. My bacon and hashbrowns cooked to perfection. Other places bacon always overcooked. I love this place as you can see. They have bakery cases with cannoli, cookies, rolls, etc. Menu looks great and many appealing choices so I need to try some of the lunches next. Lady behind me ordered several breakfasts and lunches to-go, to take to her work. Location fantastic and parking available. It's a bit of a hidden gem here on Crismon!! read more

We decided to try Sassy's for the first time as we were looking for something new, quick and close by. Sassy's looked good so we stopped. We arrived at about 1:00. The dining room was fairly full but there was no wait at the counter. The service at the counter was fairly lackluster. Not exactly rude, but disinterested I suppose. It was a nice day, so we decided to sit in the patio. The food was pretty good. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the sesame chicken salad with a couple of dessert items. Sesame chicken salad had a very good dressing. The pork sandwich was well sauced and not too sweet. We enjoyed the food. The person who brought the food asked if we needed anything else. We didn't have silverware so we asked for it. He told us the it was inside but he would grab us some. Apparently you need to know that all the accompanying meal items are self-serve. We ended up getting them ourselves. Incidentally, we saw the exact same scenario play out at the table next to us. I don't necessarily expect 5 star service at a lunch cafe, but at least they should act like they care about your patronage. Maybe that's why it's called Sassy's? Ultimately the food at Sassy's was pretty good. Unfortunately the service leaves you a bit underwhelmed. I may come back but it won't be the first choice. read more

Stoped I today with friends to have breakfast. There were four of us total. Oh what a mistake!!! So sorry we dropped 30+ bucks for two meals. The place was filthy inside and out!! No one bussing tables you get to do it yourself if you eat in. If you eat outside you get to have birds and bugs join you. I can not imagine why this place is in business that the health department has not shut them down. Word of mouth advertising sometimes is the best and believe me this ad will not be one that the owner would want to see. read more

I am giving a 3 star for this review. My most recent visit deserved 5 stars. The time before deserved a 1 star, so I am averaging it to a 3 star. My most recent visit was positive. The lady who took my order at the counter was nice, friendly, and helpful. She was more than happy to help me. The food was very good as was the service! I'm glad I stopped in, however, I was hesitant to even come here again due to the experience I had here about a month ago. I came in to order a few menu items to take home. The lady at the counter seemed extremely irritable and annoyed. I placed my order and payed. The lady never asked me if the order was for here or to-go. After I had payed, she handed me a number and I was told to wait for my order. I asked her if she had marked me down for a to-go order because I didn't want the kitchen to be preparing an order for here, when it was a to-go (I didn't want them to be preparing my food and using plates, etc., when it was a to-go order, especially since when I placed my order, the lady working the counter never asked me if it was for here or to-go). She immediately snapped at me with an attitude saying, "You still need the number!" This is not what I was asking about - I simple wanted to clarify that the order was marked down correctly as to not cause the restaurant to be preparing a meal for eating in the restaurant when it was to-go. After being snapped at by a young girl working the front counter, I stood quietly in the restaurant waiting for my order. I observed her frequently taking sips of some sort of drink from the back counter and she kept staring in my direction. Like she was mad at me or irritated that I had asked to clarify my order. This young girl at the counter made me feel so bad with her attitude and snapping at me that I was upset the entire rest of the day and questioned why I even went to Sassy's in the first place. This young girl was definitely embracing the Sassy's name with her "too sassy for you" attitude! Luckily, she was not the one working the counter during my most recent visit! read more

Wonderful new location of Sassy's Cafe & Bakery. The Asian Sesame Salad was delicious and the 1/2 portion plenty large for a meal. Comes with Chicken. Save room for baked goods. While eating order of cinnamon rolls passed by, they looked and smelled so good. I ended up choosing peanut butter gauche cookies to take home. Which actually made it home. So rich and chewy good. Honestly, if you want a more chaotic village inn or Denny's this is your place. Food is average, the employees are clearly overwhelmed and lack sufficient training to do their job. Breakfast here is absolutely amazing!! You have to try the different types of French toast! We got the cinnamon roll French toast and Piña colada French toast and it was amazing! The syrups on both were delicious. We like the modernized look of the cafe, and the outside seating is very nice. The lunch menu also looked really good, so we will definitely have to be back to try. I usually don't write reviews but we enjoyed the experience enough to make me want to! read more
