8/2/26 First time visiting. After Baptism Breakfast with our friends Shane & Courtney both sets of their parents; with Courtney's parents traveling from Kansas City to be with them for their Baptism! Parking 5/5 Arrived at 10ish. Busy lot in strip mall with shared parking. No problem finding parking. Atmosphere 5/5 Lots of Country and Patriotic splash throughout. It may take you a minute to take it all in but it's fun and comfortable here. The place was bustling with patrons and the waiting list was growing with some waiting outside. The restaurant has multiple dining rooms and larger than you might think from the outside. With the assistance of the hostess we've took the room immediately to the right to accommodate our large party of 9. . Service 5/5++ Today's we were served by Madison our ambassador for our group today. She was all smiles and provided our large group with a superb breakfast experience. Our group all selected a wide variety of breakfast items and Madison had it all timed well from the kitchen which says allot about her but also the amazing kitchen getting the groups orders out! Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I chose their Mushroom and Swiss omelette, country style potato's, pan fried jalapeños with wheat bread toast. I thought I had published my review but, well, oops. Here I am now telling y'all that breakfast was yummy: the Canadian eggs benedict were delicious, and cooked to perfection! The hash browns were good, but I like mine quite crispy (crunchy food and eggs go so well together). Coffee and orange juice all around, and a temptation for pancakes made me taste a good chunk from the plate I thought we were 'sharing'. They were very busy, it was brunch time, with all tables occupied but still smiles were seen on the staff's faces. I hadn't been back here in a long time, but I think Cozy Corner will be on my rotation now See you next time! read more

I ordered the double hamburger. It came with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. The lettuce was fresh and crispy. The meat was plenty and tasty. They offered breakfast potatoes which were better choice than fries . The service was quick and efficient. Plenty of free parking. For a small place the menu was huge. read more

This little hole-in-the-wall Diner is by all means fittingly called the Cozy Corner Café with good reasons. Its cozy, its quaint, its comfortable, its folks are nice, its homey and by all means its tasty. We were there for breakfast and right off the bat I have to say, they put out one of the best grits in town. If you were raised in the South, you know how hard it is to get decent grits in Phoenix. Come and get them here! After getting our orange juices and Coffee, our breakfast consisted of simple dishes of a smooth and silky scrambled eggs, crispy soft hash browns and Grits and my order of perfect eggs over easy, with grits also and a side of ham. We came here on word of mouth and the reviews. I really don't understand what everyone thinks is so great. Had a full order of biscuts and gravy w 2 eggs, homefrys, coffee and water The food was absolutley disgusting.eggs were rubbery and and hard the gravy was way to salty and the mush they tried to pass off has homefys tasted like chemicals. Don't order the hash browns unless you like mashed potatoes. There was not one strand of grated potato that was brown. And there was no seasoning from the kitchen. The seasoning you see in the pic is from the customer. The coloring of the picture was not altered, that's the actual color of the potatoes. read more

Fast service, friendly staff and good food from an extensive menu. A trifecta. You may have to wait a bit as it a small place.

As soon as I walked in, I felt like I traveled to somewhere in the Midwest. I love their classy diner style decor. Food is also reminds me of my Midwest days. I tried their country style steak for my breakfast. I loved the flavor of the gravy. I also liked the fact they had apple butter jam for my toast. It reminded me how I used to love my mother in law's homemade jam and breakfast, and I felt like I was back in her house. Service was exceptional. My server was friendly but not only that, the entire staff worked so hard to take care of all the customers. In fact I couldn't remember which one was my server was because so many others stopped by to refill coffee or something. Price was very affordable. In fact, I felt like they haven't raised price for 20 years! They accept credit card but since I saw many other customers leaving a cash tip, I did the same. They were lying to people about wait times to get us to stay. They told me 15 minutes and an hour later I asked the host where we were on the list. We still had 4 customers in front of us. We left and went to Waffle House but they wasted a whole hour of our time on my 1 day off. I don't mind waiting but I don't appreciate them lying about wait times. I think they do it on purpose so you stay. If they told us it would've been over an hour I wouldn't have waited so I think they lie on purpose. Very dishonest and disappointing. Food looked good but I guess I'll never know. Please do better. read more

I came back after a long absence. Things haven't changed much. Still great food still crazy busy. I had a short wait before being seated and got my coffee a couple minutes later. 10 minutes I placed my order. I got a half order of biscuits and gravy, a scrambled egg, and hashbrowns. My food was out in 15 minutes. The biscuits were homemade and flakey. The gravy was thick and creamy. It's been experience that a lot of places use too much salt in their gravy. Cozy Corner Cafe is such a great spot! We came in as a baseball team and had an awesome experience. I ordered the Two Eggs Any Style with two strips of bacon and a pancake, and everything was absolutely delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crispy, and the pancake was fluffy and flavorful. The food came out hot and fresh, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Always in search for good chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy. Ordered the chicken fried steak with hash brown, eggs, half order of biscuits and gravy which was up charge (which was not bad). Ordered standard breakfast with pecan pancake which was also up charge. Biscuits and gravy side dish was pretty big. It was pretty good... Except I tasted little bit too much of the flower. It lacked in some flavor compare to some of the other places I've tried. But it was still pretty tasty. Chicken fried steak was very yummy, nice and crispy outside. Hash brown was one of the better ones I've had.. Eggs were cooked perfect to my liking.. Over all the portion was very good and tasty was also very good. Pecan pancake was pretty darn good. Slight chewy and doughy at the same time.. One of my top 3 pancakes.. Considering I'm not a pancake person but I couldn't stop eating it. Over all this place was well worth the visit.. Very friendly and attentive staff. Price is also very good.. 2 breakfast with upgraded sides and coffee cost $33 after tax. I would definitely come back here and try some other dishes. read more

We don't live in the area but were nearby for an event. Based on the reviews, we thought it would be worth checking out for brunch. The place is charming and the staff was warm and friendly. There was a bit of a short wait, but we didn't mind. The menu offerings were ample, but my husband & I thought the food was very average. The fries were also flavorless and disappointing. I mention fries because most places easily get this simple menu item done right. I'm guessing this is a place for locals/regulars that value the convenience and lower prices, over taste quality. Very pleasant experience. Came here with our 2 kids in on Saturday morning. The place was full but somehow they manage to get anyone seated in just a few mins. People consistently came in and they had a great system that definitely works for them. I was also impressed at them getting our drinks, orders and food out in a timely manner, I didn't feel like we waited long at all, and like I said, they were busy. Back in town and of course we had to visit this place. My favorite - the breakfast burrito- is still on the menu and that is what I got. My dining friends all got eggs and chorizo because, as all the locals know, they have the best chorizo in town. Everything lived up to what I remembered.
