Subject: Formal Complaint - Discrimination and Unprofessional Conduct Let me start off with a positive and say I've never had a bad experience up until this moment I am writing to formally report a deeply concerning and unacceptable experience I had at your establishment during my recent visit. While interacting with one of your bartenders, I was met with repeated dismissive behavior. She continuously stated, "I'm only a bartender, I can't read minds," instead of offering assistance or resolving the issue. We even tried to have Management come and resolve the issue but the bar made got very rude loud rude and obnoxious and had us escorted out. More concerning, however, was that during this interaction, she directed a racial slur toward me by calling me a "Black bitch." This behavior is not only unprofessional--it is discriminatory, offensive, and completely unacceptable in any setting. No customer should ever be subjected to this kind of treatment. I am requesting that this matter be taken seriously and investigated immediately. Incidents like this reflect poorly on your establishment and create a hostile and unsafe environment for patrons. Additionally, if this matter is not addressed appropriately, I am prepared to make my fellow Black community aware of the type of employees being placed in your establishment, as no one should have to endure this kind of treatment. I expect a prompt response regarding how this issue will be handled. read more

Very friendly staff who were quick to serve and the food was fast too. Big dive bar but not trashy. Kinda like an upscale dive bar but not pretentious either. Really like the vibe here. Cushy comfy booths available. Wings were very well sauced with garlic Parmesan and the house mild sauce was basically honey with a hint of buffalo and quite tasty as well. The onion rings were perfectly crispy and the chicken nachos was a feast in itself piled high with plenty of toppings. In the mood for pizza last weekend, we stumbled upon a listing for Dina's on Google and someone mentioned Dina's is a Cleveland institution. So, of course, we were in. It was pre busy on Friday night and we asked to be seated at the covered patio-like space. It's pretty hot in there with the sunlight and no shades or fans, so we might rethink that choice next time! Nonetheless, the service was delightful and our server was great communicating and just in general. We ordered wings and a deluxe pizza. The pizza was amazing! It might even live up to the hype we read on Google. And our wings were pretty good but the garlic Parmesan ones are kind of left swimming in a ton of oil when they're served and it's not very enjoyable. So, that and the cigarette smoke on the patio subtracts from the experience a bit. Looking forward to more of that pizza in our future though! read more

First time stopping into Dina's and it was a great experience. They were packed, but they seated a table of 4 of us as quickly as they could. The vibe of this place is awesome, sort of a hole in the wall type of feel with lots of tvs and seating. They have lots of parking but even with the parking lot across the street we ended up having to find street parking which wasn't a big deal just something to keep in mind. I have heard great things about their wings and the people were right. these are awesome wings! nice crispy not too saucy where they get soggy or anything. Tried the BBQ, award winning house mild and buffalo parm. everything was hot and crispy. Also tried the deluxe pizza, really good sausage on this pizza it was so flavorful. it got a big soggy as the deluxe has a lot of toppings on it but thats not their fault it can get hard to eat but lots of choices for pizza and im sure they are all good. Everyone was so nice and the waitress even brought out an extra side of buffalo sauce and ranch for me. I will definitely be back when I am craving wings and want to support a more local place, just be aware that they do place a fee when using credit cards so bring your cash! read more

I absolutely love Dina's and the whole vibe but today the food was mediocre. My calzone was over cooked and my daughter had a burger with fries.. she said it wasn't the greatest. Love the energy in there, great to sit and watch any sports games, and the staff is always so nice and attentive. There's a lot to say about Dina's and not a single thing is negative. Starting off with the atmosphere, it is never dead in that place, and I am also a sucker for their vintage decor scattered around the building. You can either sit at a booth, table, or at the bar which has plenty of stools. Their drink selection is tremendous, I personally go for draft beer but they have many many many other options. The food was pretty good, and the draft drinks were good for happy hour! Very affordable. We ordered 2 pizzas and each of us got our own wings. The pizzas were really good! The perfect thickness & it was well made. I ordered the house hot flavor and at first it wasn't spicy, but after a few wings it got pretty hot. We live around the corner from Dina's and have been told that the wings are the best in town. So far, we've tried both the wings and the pizza. Pizza: a-ok - this is my favorite delivery in the area. Nice and cheesy, and when it gets to our doorstep it's always still piping hot, which I love. They have great customer service on their delivery team. Wings: seem to have gone down hill. I know that the wings have been named best in Cleveland for many years, but we were disappointed. The wings were just ok - and they had no crunch to them at all. I will say though that the sauce on the wings was stellar - its' just the cook on the wings themselves that leaves something to be desired. I'm hoping that we just had an off experience and that if we order wings again we'll get a better batch! read more

Dina's is a classic stand-by for us. Whether it's carry out or dine in, we are always excited to be ordering Dina's. My absolutely favorite thing that's been on the menu is the pickle pizza. It's salty, Cheesy, and dilly. We love the salads, the wings, burgers. We can make a whole meal out of appetizers. The menu is large and creative. Excellent prices and great service. Ordered for delivery a few Mondays ago. The person on the phone told me that it would take about 45 minutes for the pizza to get to my house. After about an hour and fifteen minutes I decided to call again to see when the pizza was going to show up. The person on the phone mentioned that they only had one driver in and that the pizza would be there any minute. After about an hour after that the pizza was still not delivered. After calling for a second time, the same person I spoke with earlier told me that the pizza was just now leaving the store. Almost 2.5 hours later and we finally got the pizza. The man that dropped off the pizza was very genuine and apologized several times. I know that it wasn't his fault, so I didn't give him a hard time. I ordered a half sheet pepperoni pizza. The pizza was warm but I was so hungry that I didn't mind. I would give this a 1 star but the delivery driver was beyond genuine and I really enjoyed his customer service. I want to give this place another try but waiting almost 2.5 hours for a pizza is unnecessary. I would have been understanding if they called to check in and mention that the kitchen was backed up or slow but having to call two times has put a bad taste in my mouth. read more

My wife and I stopped in recently for a quick meal before an event we were to attend. Had heard great things about both their wings and pizza so we wanted to give them a try. A booth near the bar was our table and we settled in with a few beers. We ordered a house salad, deluxe pizza and a dozen buffalo style wings. The house salad we shared was quite sizable; it had a nice, light vinaigrette dressing and a few veggies on top. Not that we got the "healthy" stuff out of the way...on to the good stuff!!! The deluxe pizza was medium thickness crust and a wide array of meat and veggie toppings, but the cheese was average and sauce was basically tasteless. Definitely not one of favorites. But...the buffalo style wings were crispy, well sauced with a perfect buffalo flavor and heat. Served with blue cheese dressing for a cool-off "dip" these were some of the best we've had in the Cleveland area, and believe me we've tried a ton of them! So...we will most certainly be returning for the wings and maybe some loaded fries. Glad we finally gave this place a try! read more

I had never been inside this place and today was no different. I had a craving for pasta for lunch and PJays did not open until 4pm so on Door Dash I found Dina's for pasta. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. The sauce did not have a lot of meat in it but overall it tasted pretty good. I was surprised to see the size of the side salad that came with the pasta. Nice size with plenty of veggies and croutons. I had to pick out the onions of course (yuck) and then put on what looked and smelled like Italian dressing. That ruined the entire salad. The dressing tasted horrible so I threw the salad out. But the portion of pasta was plentiful as well and I have nearly half of it leftover for another lunch later this week. read more

We ordered onion rings, basket of vegetable, hamburgers. garlic bread and wings. All food was just ok to good. The wings were so-so. Not the best. During fish fry season, pierogis come out as a main staple. But instead of having them on a boring ol' plate, eat them with caramelized onions and covered in cheese on a pizza crust. We carry out the pierogi pizza and not just in the spring, they have it all year round. Not a fan pierogis? They have a bunch of other tasty pizzas too.
