This place did nothing but lie to my wife. She went there for orthodontic treatment and went with Invisalign. We have really great insurance through Aetna, and they told us they could do her treatment for $2000 with our insurance. We've paid the $2000, on time, never missed a payment. We just received a notice that we owe them over $3000 and if we don't pay it, they are sending it to collections. DO NOT SEEK TREATMENT AT THIS PLACE. They sent me a text message saying I had a balance due even though I've never been there. I'm guessing it was because they acquired Woodlake Dental after Woodlake went out of business and they somehow think I owe them money from that. Everything I had done at Woodlake was covered by insurance or paid for up front so I don't know why now, over two years later, this office was asking me for money. I would say if you are going to send a request for money from someone that has never been to your office you should send some kind of note explaining why, and an invoice, not just some text message. It wasn't worth my time or effort to try to straighten this out so I just paid it, rather than risk it going to collections. If I get another request for money from them I might have to look into it more because maybe they are billing me for work done to someone else. In any case it is clearly a mismanaged office so I would highly not recommend them. read more

Awful service since day one. Terrible bedside manners, I regret so much ever going to this place. They reschedule/cancel your appointments and always for the same reason " family emergency ". The absolute worst is Natasha the office manager- couldn't be more rude if she tried. They lied about the savings plan and what it covers, and when asked to show me what I signed up for to see what exactly it covers they were unable to provide that information. I waited on 2 crowns for almost 2 months because the first set the color was wrong and didn't match my natural color. When I asked to have them redone I was told by the Doctor " well you chose the color " yes because no one took the time the first time around to color match me. I was given a tooth palate by an assistant to choose from. You're the professional, not me. When looking at my xrays, and he pointed out what the problem was, I asked what I thought was a general question "oh how does something like that happen" ? the snappy answer I got was "how should I know I just met you " Horrific experienc, and they will not make it right. read more

Wow, Wow, Wow, - was told by other dentists that I needed a replacement bridge and I decided to get a second opinion and I am so glad that I did. Went to Savannah Dental Care and met with Dr. Moon along with his staff and they were extremely helpful and at the end of the consultation with the Dr., turns out that I did not need a replacement. This has been such a relief and now I am looking forward to going back tomorrow for a cleaning as well as anything dental needed in the future. I would leave them zero stars if able. They are rude and they are over charging people for their services! Do not go here, it was a terrible experience!!! I received an additional bill so I spoke to my insurance co and they advised me that I was over charged and that the dental office actually owes me money. Liars and cheats!!! read more

I went to Savannah Dental to have a cleaning and found that I needed old dental work repaired. And while I enjoyed my initial time there, after my temporary crown was finished I still had pain, I went back and had it adjusted and didn't work. Then at final fitting I was told that my temp crown was put on incorrectly and overlapped my gum causing pinching and nerve damage. Ended up moving to another dentist who told me half the work Savannah said I needed was not accurate and it would take time for my gum to heal from the improper crown. Never heard from them again into today, 5/7 I receive a letter sent on 5/1 stating I had ten days to pay a balance of $66 or I would be sent to collections. No phone call ever from them in an attempt to collect, when my services were completed i was told nothing was due. And in the spirit of great customer service they sent my $66 to collections on 5/2 instead of calling me or giving me the ten days they stated in their letter. So no. I do lot recommend Savannah dental, the dental work may not be accurate, they will up Charge you after the fact and make no attempt to call you for balance, and will submit it to collections before the timeline and actual letter. With so many dental options to chose from on 380, this is not the one. read more

March 2021. I came back a second time to hopefully be reassured by Savannah Dental Care. I came and left with pain. I was in the chair for several hours doing uncomfortable x-rays & asking about previously, billing questions that my wife had with another company and they didn't get billing to take care of over two years ago. After, conversation with one of the worker associates, a friend I thought that I had worked with thereafter, I complimented her that she looks nice & lost weight because I haven't seen her in about 2 yrs. since my last ordeal with a previous Dentist, who stop on me in surgery on me in the middle of the root canal and I was in great pain to wait on another patient for over 2 hours. I gave them another chance because he was no longer a Dentist there. Finally, Dr. Moon approaches me in the office about an inappropriate comment I supposedly had made. I was clueless, hurt, and in pain. I indicated that I only said the young lady who is my associate friend who has known me for several years and that she look nice today. He didn't say who says what but indicated me to leave. I was shocked and still in pain. I didn't know what was inappropriate about a compliment. Well, after leaving and walking with another female dental associate, she said to me in response about what was said by Dr. Moon, that it's ridiculous that you cannot even compliment someone and this happens and the person, replied thank you for the compliment as well. I, therefore, apologize to whomever and entire staff being in unbelief that this just happened if in which I didn't think, I had offended anyone. It wasn't about a compliment, only. But the color of my skin is a Black Male came into play of Dr. Moon not providing service to me. Dr. Moon asked me to leave and didn't provide service to me as I left in pain. I then started looking for another Dentist's Office and I later received a letter in about 3 weeks or so about the same incident that had transpired, saying that he wasn't providing service to me. In which, he had already indicated that previously, so I didn't understand the Kids Written Letter, lol. The letter looked like it was written by a 3-year-old, with type errors, no letterhead, and on envelope written in chicken-scratch handwritten by ink pen. No, Professionalism at all! I have reported the Savannah Dental Care to Texas Dental Association & my Insurance company for pain and suffering because my service was denied, racism, and unprofessionalism by Dentists and staff. Now, remember I gave them 2 or more chances and they still didn't get it right. If you Black American please find another place to get service from and this is not the place. Very sad and upset with my experience after reading good reviews. I found them online and after read I reviews for emergency dentist I gave them a call. They got me in immediately. After explaining the situation going on they said they could help me. After going in I left disappointed that not only could they not help and I had felt lied to but they didn't address any of my concerns regarding not being able to talk because of so much pain. They said they would work on getting me a referral for an oral surgery center but that it probably wouldn't be until Monday (I was there on Thursday). Expressing my pain and concerns they offered to look around and find a surgery center to get me in ASAP. I told them I was willing to drive I didn't care. I was in desperate search of pain relief. I was told I would get a call the next day. It is Friday afternoon. Not only did I not get a call, I had to call them and they told me they only called one place and it was booked for the week and even the week after Thanksgiving. I can't live with not being able to eat or talk for 2 weeks!! I ended up calling the surgery center right down the street from them and BAM I have an appointment Monday. Went in for a special "new patient" pricing as I was between jobs without insurance and needed to get my teeth cleaned. While the experience was positive and the office was very nice with TVs over the chairs and pleasant staff, about a week after my cleaning I had awful plaque buildup on my lower gum line. Nothing I did could get it to go away. (And, knock on wood, I'm VERY careful with my teeth - I've never had a cavity, they're usually very white, etc. For 20 years I've been religious about getting my teeth cleaned on a regular schedule.) Two months after my visit, I had insurance again and went to my usual dentist in Dallas. They said it didn't even look like my teeth had been cleaned! They were very dissatisfied with the "results" I experienced and it took extra work to get the plaque build up off of my teeth and below the gum line. I called the office of Savannah Dental Care to inform them of what happened and cancel my six month appointment as I wasn't going to trust them with my teeth again. They hardly offered me an apology. The real "kick in the teeth" though, is that despite unsubscribing several times they now BOMBARD me with email blasts about specials and new happenings! Savannah Dental: I am not your patient. I never will be again. You could offer me free cleanings for life - I would not take it. You produced sub-par work and all of the decorations in the world don't make up for bad care of my teeth. I informed your office, you weren't sorry. I ignored the first several months of emails. At this point, you're getting two stars - you deserve one but you spent all that extra money on TVs. read more

My wife recently had a few teeth pulled by Dr. Asad Ahsan on two different visits, and she was VERY impressed by his skill and customer care. I, on the other hand was impressed by the facility - which is extremely family friendly. My three year old loved playing in the play kitchen and on the age appropriate Playstation games, and my two older kids loved playing on the two computers in the waiting area. I recently moved to Texas and was looking for a new dentist. I happen to come across this office as I was driving and thought I would try it since it is close to my home. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. I have worked in a dental office for the past 8 years and I was not happy with the way they do business. The front desk lady was not friendly, the hygienist was horrible. I had water running all over my face the entire time and every time she sprayed me with the water syringe to rinse my mouth it went straight down the back of my throat. When she polished my teeth she polished more of my gums than my teeth and she did NOT floss my teeth. Seriously? You go to the dentist for cleaning and flossing. My last cleaning was exactly 6 months ago and I had no problems. Today I left with a treatment plan of 2 crown build-ups and 4 cavities. That is impossible in a span of 6 months! Plus Dr. Asad Ahsan came in for 2 minutes and was moody and he did not even look at my x-rays. I will be getting a second opinion and getting work done elsewhere in the future!! read more

I will NEVER use this dentist again. Here are the many reasons.... 1. They are rude. I have issues breathing through my nose. Rather than taking it slow and being patient, the dentist was RUDE and yelled at me several times because I could not breather and I was wasting his time. Let's do not forget how much $ I was spending at his practice. Was i really wasting his time? 2. They over charged my benefits card by $846. I understood this was the way they have to do it because I have a primary insurance and a secondary. They have to charge you as if only one will pay and refund after they see what is left. I have called no less than a dozen times and still (after 6 months) do not have my refund. 3. They do not return your phone calls. When you call you get an appointment scheduler, they offer to take a message because nobody in the office is available. They NEVER return your calls. 4. The work that was done was less than stellar. They put a temporary crown on and after sitting there waiting on him to make adjustment for 2 1/2 hours, it still was not smooth and my bite is miserable. To say the least, I will be paying for another permanent crown (since they made me pay up front) because I do not want them touching my teeth. Stay away!!!!! read more

Still do not have the credit I was promised by Becca on Thursday 13th. Today is Presidents Day so I will wait. Its funny Dr. L, when I called the Savannah location and asked to speak to you Dr. Scott Leune, the owner. The lady at the front desk had no idea who you were. Don't get me wrong I know insurance is confusing I have worked in Insurance for over 25 years. This was not the case, the issue was that Becca was right and no one and no piece of paper was going to tell her otherwise. I had a copy of the same benefit sheet she had that was clearly marked at the top "Enrollee Co-pay" I tried as well as Delta Dental tried to explain to her that this is what the patient pays, she continued to argue that the "Enrollee Co-pay" is what Delta Dental was paying to your office. She couldn't even cough up a simple apology for her actions. She could only say that there was a confusion between the two offices (i see the dentist in LE and have NEVER had issue with billing, My husband saw the dentist in Savannah, his first visit) Becca apologized for there being a confusion between the offices, not for her lack of professionalism. FYI- Dr. Bray still has not returned my call. I would be more than happy to discuss this with you further. I've been here three times so far. They are fantastic and polite. They don't have you wait in the waiting room long and always ask of there is anything they can do to make you more comfortable. Highly recommended. They also text and email you your appointment reminders which is always nice. They also have TVs in the exam rooms to ease your mind while getting work done. read more

Awesome service! And the staff is even better! After all the bad dentist experiences I've delt with I was uneasy about going, but the second I got there that all went away. The staff are sweet and make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Also having a tooth emergency, I didn't have funds available to pay for it. They didnt hound me once about it like others have done in the past. They went out of their way to take care of me and set up a payment plan that I was comfortable with. This is a kid-friendly place that will work with you and your insurance to get a good deal. I was happy that they were honest enough to say, 'yes, there's a cavity on your child's tooth, but it's a baby tooth that will fall out in another couple months' - instead of putting the child through an unnecessary procedure.
