About a year ago, they told me I had "severe gum disease" and refused to do the basic cleaning covered by my insurance. I didn't know any better at the time and trusted them, so I paid $600 out of pocket for their so-called "special cleaning." Now, looking back, I realize they took advantage of me and stole $600 for something I didn't need. A few months later, they tried to charge me another $600 for more of the same. Instead, I went to a dental school, where I had nine hours of detailed professional cleaning done over three appointments. My teeth were spotless. Less than a week later, I went back to Little Elm Dentistry hoping to use my insurance for a basic cleaning and establish care with a regular dentist. To my shock, they told me I needed another "special cleaning" costing over $2,000, even though my teeth had been cleaned just days earlier. I asked the hygienist if they could simply do the basic cleaning covered by my insurance, and they refused. I asked to speak with the manager, and they refused to let me speak with her as well. When I asked to speak with Dr. Yates, they also refused until I said I would file a complaint with the dental board. Only then did he agree to talk. When I finally spoke with Dr. Yates, he claimed doing a regular cleaning would be "under-treating" me, even though I had no plaque or calculus because I had just completed nine hours of professional cleaning. He said it was "about bacteria," not plaque or calculus, which made absolutely no sense. After reading other reviews online, I discovered many patients have had the same experience -- being denied insurance-covered cleanings, pressured into unnecessary procedures, and blocked from speaking with the manager or dentist. It is clear this office is charging people for cleanings they do not need. Little Elm Dentistry is not about patient care; it is about money and manipulation. What they are doing is unethical and should be investigated. Avoid this place at all costs. They are a scam operation.

I have been so extraordinary impressed! In December 2019, I went for an evaluation of my breast implants (placed @ 13 years ago) because I had a concern of the shape. Upon Dr. Giraldo's evaluation, he explained that the 'Tear Drop' shape implants turned causing my shape and size to change. It made perfect sense! Dr. Giraldo further explained all of the types of breast implants and the implants he would recommend for me. I mentioned to Dr. Giraldo that I work out and he advised me on some movements to customize and sport bras to consider. Talk about a plethora of information?!? I left his office with more information than I had questions! Needless to say, I couldn't wait to schedule my surgery! I'm about 3 weeks out now and really haven't missed a beat! While I am being super careful with my upper body movements, I'm back at the gym. Actually, I went back on the 15th day after surgery and back to work on day 7! My recovery has been unbelievably quick and my follow up appointments have all been good. Scaring? No worries here because, Dr. Giraldo has some good ointments to help! Yes.
