New, beautiful campground! Large paved sites, bathhouse was immaculate! Club house was fitted with a pool table,, foose ball, outside area had horseshoe pits, nice pickleball courts! Beautiful pool with a hot tub and splash pad area, the pool was heated but unfortunately we weren't able to test it out during this cold spell! The entire campground was perfect! Great dog park! Friendly staff, we'll definitely stay here again!

    Our greeting upon our arrival.

You can pet and interact with all the farm animals including the horses which we love. Even though it feels like a very secluded farm experience, you are less than a 10 minute drive to the historic district of Savannah and an Uber ride is very easy to get. Highly recommend this RV park.

Honestly, you might want to avoid it at all times due to the relentless noise. Between the train tracks running right through the property at all hours, heavy traffic buzzing from nearby roads, and military planes and helicopters rattling the sky all day from your neighboring military airbase, peace and quiet simply do not exist here. Another reviewer suggested using earplugs, but trust me: nothing is going to save your sanity when a full-blown freight train blares its horn at 3 a.m. every morning! We booked way in advance online for a week-long plus stay, only to be placed in a spot with absolutely zero shade. When we asked to move, the head staff, Leslie's favorite catchphrase was "just call us next time." Good to know & thanks so much for this lovely help, Leslie! To cool down, you can always hike an eighth of a mile to their very nice pool. Just be prepared for the "gravel gauntlet" (similar to your site, by the way)--navigating loose rocks in flip-flops while carrying pool gear in the heat isn't much fun. Ultimately, we've stayed in cheaper, friendlier, and much more accommodating places. Unless you really love the blazing sun, constant noise and unhelpful office manager, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Located about 10 minutes away from Savannah, Georgia, this RV park in South Carolina was an…read moreabsolute surprise. The registration was a little weird at first because you almost had to know exactly which spot you were going to be in before you arrived, but once you go through it once it was so easy that it almost became preferable to what other parks make you go through. They do not take credit cards, so be prepared to have cash or a check on hand. We stayed here on Passport America and only ended up spending$25 a night. Otherwise, it's either $30 on other popular club plans or $50 for the regular rate--which given its proximity to downtown historic Savannah, is still well worth the cost. When we arrived, the staff member was friendly and accommodating as she explained to us where in the park we would be fit with our need for a Verizon signal and internet access. Once she had directed to a few spots, we were able to choose the one that best suited us. The cell signal in that area is a bit flaky, so a cell booster would definitely help but, we were eventually about to settle into a space that gave us a steady signal and a decent connection to their park's wifi--which had excellent speeds, even when the park was full. The utilities were also good, but unlike the wifi, the electricity would start to flake out as the park got fuller and fuller. To be fair, it was a very hot week, but as more and more people were turning on their A/Cs you can really see the drain on the lines. The water tasted clean and fresh but the water pressure was well over 50lbs, so be sure to hook up a water pressure limiter. The cable TV, which was also included in the rates had many channels and the connection/signal was steady throughout our visit. The one downside that I could see for many travellers is the lack of other conveniences. This park does not have public showers and restrooms, so you better come packing your own facilities. The laundry room on site is good to have and it include a small office area that allows you to make phone calls and send faxes. However, the laundry machines themselves leave much to be desired. Many are out of order and the rest smell very musty. But it's there for your usage in a pinch and the machines don't leave your clothes smelling bad. Finally, the park itself was very dog-friendly. They had constructed a very large fully fenced dog park off to one side that included places for people to sit, dog toys, and water bowls. Additionally, the park itself was large and well lit which made evening dog walks an enjoyable and safe. There was just enough nature and grass and trees between each of the spaces to make you feel like you were still in a natural environment. All in all, it was such an enjoyable stay that even though my husband and I only planned for two days originally, we ended up hanging out for well over a week. I will definitely be back and this place has now become my go-to destination when touring the Savannah area.
