We have a massive Chinese elm that was in desperate need of care. We had already gotten a number of estimates, but when I met Alex, at his booth at Walnut Creek Art and Wine, and chatted briefly about the tree, I was immediately impressed and decided to get one more. When Alex came to look at the tree we got a real education about trees, he was extremely knowledgable. He determined a plan to lighten the branches and open up the canopy without stressing the tree. We felt his estimate was very reasonable. Alex and his crew, who were polite and very efficient, did an amazing job on the tree, not only is the branch structure defined, but we now have some sun. It is just beautiful and adds a lot of value to the home. Our yard has a lot of plants and decorative pieces, including a fish pond and they were extremely careful about protecting everything. We also have two Chinese elms in the front and, when asked about them, Alex said he wouldn't do them until they were healthier suggesting aerating and fertilizing the lawn. Sexy trees came through for us quicky to resolve on urgent issue. Our tree rotted from the inside, and one of the huge branches cracked open and started to fall on our fence. At this point the tree was cracking down the middle of the trunk and was dangerously close to falling on our roof. That would have been an absolute disaster. I called and spoke with Alex, who was super knowledgable and friendly. He came over to our property that same afternoon to assess the situation, and sent a crew out to remove the tree the next morning. These guys were of utmost skill and professionalism. The team efficiently and safely removed this huge tree from our yard and eliminated the hazard. Not only did they not leave a mess, but they also even swept and cleaned up the yard to look better than it was before their arrival. Not one branch or leaf was left behind. Alex and his crew do great work. I go to school with Alex and so know that he is always trying to get more education under his belt and I know how hard he works and I trust him to do a great job. That applies to his tree service. Friendly, respectful crew. They work quickly and safely. Everything is cleaned up when they leave. I would, and have, recommended Llamas Tree Service to friends and family. I know the price is pretty much the best in town as I had several estimates and no one as friendly as Alex. Had an excellent experience with Alex and his crew. I had a big project of removing 4 very large dead trees with a risk of them falling and damaging our house. Removal of the debris was via a narrow space around the house and there were a few small trees surrounding the large dead ones which was tricky. Alex budgeted three days for the project and provided availability. His crew arrived on schedule, protected the house with plywood, carefully took down the trees without damaging all the surrounding smaller ones, removed all debris and finished the job on time. Had a great experience with Sherri and Alex! At Sherri's initial walk through she took plenty of time to review/observe our pepper tree and discuss possible reasons for its diminished growth. Their proposal included helpful information on the treatment and explained that it had psyllids and a girdled root. Their subsequent visit went smoothly and in the month or so since their visit, the tree has been regrowing leaves as they said it would! Fingers crossed she fills out more in the next year's growth. I found Alex to be professional, well informed, and personable. He was on time and his crew did an awesome job. They were polite and it was amazing watching them work. You could tell they have no fear moving around the tree to get limbs and mistletoe removed. I can't wait to see how the tree looks in the spring. Alex is very knowledgeable and gave me a good idea of what made sense to do given the age of my oaks, time of year, etc. He and his guys did a great job of trimming some oaks and taking out a few dead trees - the price was very reasonable (I got 3 bids and he was lowest for the most work!). This was an amazing experience! Quote was reasonable and it was explained to me that my very large oak only needed raising the canopy. Guys arrived on time and with a full crew of three climbers plus ground guys ... they were done in two hours! They knew their craft. They also took out a few crossing branch's that were in reach. Sexy Trees has done work for us twice now. We heard about them from a neighbor. The first job was removal of a mayberry tree, which was fast , the removal was clean and we've had zero issues. The second was a much larger job of trimming our very large Tulip tree (20+ feet). They did a beautiful job. Really excellent service! Alex not only came out to the house quickly for an estimate, but he got the busy crew over the next day to remove a giant tree limb that had fallen. Two other services couldn't send anyone for a couple of weeks. Even more, I told him I needed new mulch and he sent a crew a couple of days later with a truck full of nice chopped ash! We removed an 85 year old oak from our yard that was overhanging our house and a 30 year Japanese maple that we wanted to keep.
