Leveled up my sidewalk better than I expected and were prompt, thorough and professional.

Two of my large concrete patio slabs (about 8' x 8' each) had sunk about 2" at one end, creating a significant trip hazard. We contacted CRC for cement raising needed on our back patio. The salesman came out, and I explained that we wanted it all level, as there were a lot of tripping hazards. They gave us a quote for the raising and caulking, and said it will look great when done. They came and did the raising. I contacted them and sent pictures where there were still uneven spots where people could trip, and that was the whole point of having it done. They assured me that once they caulked, that would take care of it. After they caulked a few days later, it was still not level - there were a few places where the cement was still heaving. They said they could come out and shave it so that it's level, but they would charge us an ADDITIONAL $100! That sounds shady and very much like a scam. To tell a customer that it will be level and look great - charge us a LOT of $ - and then come back after the fact and say if we wanted it level it will cost more. read more

I hired CRC to level my walkway. They showed up on the scheduled day and completed the work. Here's how things went from there... The holes (which I was told would be hard to see) were so noticeable that it looked like I designed my walkway to look like a Dalmatian, and the crew made such a huge mess cutting into the cement that it took me a little over a week to wash away the debris and collect all of the chunks of cement they left in my yard. After only a few months the cement they worked on started to crack in half and sections of the walkway started breaking up (where corners met). I called the CRC office and after I finally got someone on the phone, I explained the situation and provided them with pictures as requested to clearly show them the problem. The lady I spoke to said they'd come back asap to assess the damage and fix the problem. After a few months of waiting I called in again (and again, and emailed them since they never pick up the phone) to see when I could expect them to come back and fix the damage. They said they've been busy and will stop by asap. Then winter hit... and they said they'd be by in the spring. Towards the end of spring they finally showed up... took a look at the damage, and had the nerve to say it was there before they did the work. Then shortly after I started pulling up before/after pictures - the guy stopped me and said that they could drill through all of the existing holes and redo the same job "but it probably wont do any good". At that point I said I'd rather not deal with another huge mess if he believes it won't do any good, and told him to take off. A total waste of time and money in the end, the walkway is now worse than it was before and it didn't take long at all. It was just slanted, now it's cracked and breaking apart. I had to use patching cement to coverup the really bad parts and even that's breaking apart now. Poor customer service and quality of work. P.S. The CRC guarantee is BS. The guy I spoke to when they showed up even said "you need to read the fine print, we're not responsible for fixing damage that we cause". Then why the whole song and dance and false promises?? CRC raised our patio and two front walks and did an amazing job. It's unbelievable how much they were able to raise our concrete. We were able to eliminate an entire step leading to our front door and our patio door. We also appreciate the time the sales rep took to answer our questions. Jon came out on a Saturday just to walk us through the quote a second time. He also pointed out other areas of concern that we had missed. They came back and did all the caulking after a few weeks and everything has held up perfectly. We asked them yesterday if I can have someone get an estimate in our back door stoop concrete problem and the response was so fast , they came here in less than 24 hrs ! I've never had work like this done before. The crew who came to do the work was seemingly quite experiences and worked together effectively and efficiently. The lead man took the time to explain everything they were doing. The work was done as promised and on-time. I found two unfortunate issues. The 1st person who came out estimated the cost at about half of what it was eventually quoted. That was disconcerting but we had the work done anyway. As an ignorant consumer, I didn't think about the "cause and effect" from raising the patio and sidewalk. Again, the lead showed me some additional things I could do to remediate the new issues that raising caused. I expect I'll be in a better position to comment further in a year or so. read more

The team with CRC was on time, professional and answered all the questions I had. Once the driveway and sidewalk were raised, I then scheduled to have them back to caulk all of the spaces to insure that water didn't flow under the newly raised concrete. Our concrete driveway had sunk due to poor drainage from the gutters and Adam came out and gave us a quote on the spot. He spent a good amount of time explaining their process and why concrete is better than using a high density foam or "mud jacking" company and really educated us on what we were spending our money on. I paid $1500 for CRC to mudjack my front/back porch. They were the most expensive in my quotes, but them seemed to be professional, with a four year guarantee. I needed calking as well. Was told by Adam I might not need it, it would be a minor addition. Please see CRC's calking quote of $800! This is no minor sum - it is called bait and switch! The owner's son called his father before the job was done and put me on the phone. I told him how disappointed I was with the gaps in the concrete and the owner said he would be out within the week to fix. He never showed up, but sent me the outrageous quote! His son promised to return to power wash the deck. I called again, my phone call was never returned. Very disappointed as they are unprofessional and dishonest. The deck, as you can see from my photos, looks worse than when they started! The job was left incomplete! read more

We recently had CRC do our sidewalk. Our experience was less than good. The workers started drilling and not using water, even though they told me to have a hose ready for their use. Our neighbors (and friends) walked over and politely asked them to use water, as dust was getting over everything on their porch/etc. They were a bit rude and went on without doing this. I eventually had to go out and tell them to use water. When they left, the did not clean anything -- if this is normal, they didn't tell us. The sides of our house and the whole surrounding area needs powerwashed. The sidewalk services was good, but the entire service experience was not good. They left without notifying us, so I had to call the office to complain. Someone from the office was supposed to call us to discuss, but I never heard back. Please work on your customer relations. I will hesitate to recommend CRC in the future. read more

Hired this company to raise a concrete step and they basically broke my perfectly good step and tried to cover it up. Then they said they would refund my money if I were to get the step replaced. I found a cheaper option (and by cheaper I mean $3,500!!) than replacing the step. They said the only way they would give me a partial refund is if I signed something stating that I would not tell anyone of my experience.
