    Deli Sandwich
    Robbie W.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I go get a deli sandwich or any kind of sandwich I expect it to be cut in half I've always thought that was just the general criteria that they do well as you can see in the picture once again because this is not the first time my sandwich is not cut in half. The employees there are pretty friendly their selection is good they do have a seafood counter and a butcher area and they do have the five for $25 deal going on there with their meet and seafood which if you don't know what that is they have certain cuts of meat and seafood that is $5 a package which is really good because the meat is absolutely perfect. If you live out in the Spanish Springs area it is definitely convenient it's in the shopping center that also has Burger King and a Little smoke shop well little pot shop along with a couple of gas stations and a 7-Eleven

Thanks for keeping a regular stock of hot wheels. I've been able to find many sought after cars. The display area is small but neat and easy to find.

This grocery store is located on pyramid hwy, and la posada in Spanish springs. The parking lot is huge and it is never a problem finding a space. The store is clean and well lit. It got a facelift when savemart took over Albertsons. I really like this store because it isn't crammed full of merchandise and you have to dodge endcaps full of whatever at the end of every isle. Like I said before, the store is clean, which is huge. The staff are friendly and helpful. There selection of produce and meat is also good. Produce is always fresh and there is a good selection.

I've always been perfectly happy with our local Safeway in Sparks. I love their selection of deli…read moremeats and cheeses, their fruits and veggies are always fresh and of good quality, and their meat counter has quality products with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I also utilize them for my prescriptions and the pharmacy staff is always friendly, helpful, and communicates well when I have a prescription that is on order or out of stock. You get what you pay for what you pay for with groceries, meat and every other consumer product in life and, yes, Safeway is expensive for what they offer, but it is of good quality and decent value. I always recommend Safeway for their groceries, pharmacy and positive customer experiences.

I was searching for a whole chicken to put in the smoker when I ran across an ad from Safeway. Five dollar Cornish game hens (regularly seven dollars) if you purchase four of them. I decided to go for the deal, and when I open the app and they had a $30 off first time order for either delivery or pick up. Now I like to save money, just had to purchase $75 after all of the discounts. So I went through the app and ordered a bunch of stuff. New York steaks were on sale, Cornish game hints, bought a few different types of vegetables. The total was $160. But with the coupons and the $30 off, I ended up spending $48. It's nice to have them pick up the stuff, but the shoppers job is not to help you get the best items. My wife had to replace the salary and the carrots and the steaks. It seems like the shoppers job is too get rid of stuff before it expires and they have no issue giving you bruised or damaged fruits and vegetables. So even though the price was great , the steaks were completely covered with fat and gristle. The vegetables were on their last leg. I do not recommend this service.

I have been a Costco member for 18 years; California and Nevada. I've never had a problem,…read moreemployees are always friendly, and Costco usually has what I need. I usually go to buy gas but now and then I go inside. I was at Optical recently and I am waiting for my new glasses. So thankful my Medicare Advantage insurance is accepted here. I am done with Walmart for my glasses. Costco has never failed me in the past and I am staying with Costco's Optical. They are very good at their jobs and that made my day.

Dear Costco Management,…read more I would like to share a disappointing experience I had on May 22, 2026, around 3:30 PM at the Sparks Costco location. I met my wife near the gas station area to transfer our children between cars so they could attend a party. While moving a car seat and helping our three young children (ages 5, 10, and 14), I briefly parked in an area that had clear parking lines across my other vehicle. Within seconds, a gentleman approached me and asked me to move the vehicle because it was blocking traffic. Since I was carrying a car seat and assisting the children, I immediately apologized and explained that I had not noticed it was no-parking (it didn't say anywhere). What disappointed me was the response I received. The employee called me a "smart-ass" in front of my children that I can't see the faded lines (see attached pictured how faded are they). I found this especially upsetting because: I was cooperative and apologetic from the beginning. No Costco employee should speak to a customer in that manner, particularly in front of young children. My wife and I work hard to model respectful behavior for our kids, and I later had to explain inappropriate language to my 5-year-old because of this interaction. I want to emphasize that this complaint comes from a place of disappointment, not anger. My family and I genuinely enjoy shopping at Costco, and we visit this location multiple times a week. We have consistently had positive experiences with Costco employees, which is why this interaction stood out so strongly. I understand that employees may need to address parking or safety concerns, and I would have completely understood a polite request to move the vehicle. However, the tone and language used were unnecessary and unprofessional. I hope Costco will take this feedback seriously, take concrete actions on this employee and train employees to communicate respectfully with customers, especially when children are present.

This is the best Grocery Outlet that we have in the Reno/ Sparks area…read more Produce: I'm starting with the not so great here - don't buy produce at Grocery Outlet as a general rule of thumb. Sure if you need something for tonight or tomorrow's dinner - go ahead. It's not bad produce, it's just got a little shorter lifespan on a lot of it. If you are buying your groceries for the week go to Winco, you'll save some money and your veg will last a bit longer. Toiletries: I frequently buy my shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash, toothpaste etc here. I'm not going to find the same brand/ flavor every time but I don't care. They carry good brands and I've been very happy with these purchases. Sauce: The sauce isle is one of my favorites. They have a great selection here of all kinds of sauces, marinades, dips, and dressings. Pets: I frequently buy my kitty litter, kitty snacks, and kitty dry food here. Laundry: Also my go to place for laundry needs. Frozen: Great selection. Thank you for always having my beyond burgers and big bags of frozen shrimp. Shout out to the odd selection of ice creams. Snacks: Sometimes awesome deals sometimes just ok. Always a selection of unique things to try. I appreciate the selection of nuts especially. Cheese: Don't sleep on their fancy cheese selection. If you are making a charcuterie board and this place isn't your first stop, you're doing it wrong and for too much money. Alcohol: Great selection. Discounts can be found on wine but are infrequently found on beer. Overall with Grocery Outlet you can't go in there expecting to definitely find A, B, and C in the brand and packaging you are used to. Heck it's very likely you'll find A, B, and C it's just not a guarantee and it's also likely that it will be a different flavor or brand. You are guaranteed to find something amazing at a great price that you wouldn't have had the opportunity to try otherwise. Note here: Grocery Outlet has a new store brand that is working hard to make it so that staple foods you expect to be there will be there.
