I was searching for a whole chicken to put in the smoker when I ran across an ad from Safeway. Five dollar Cornish game hens (regularly seven dollars) if you purchase four of them. I decided to go for the deal, and when I open the app and they had a $30 off first time order for either delivery or pick up. Now I like to save money, just had to purchase $75 after all of the discounts. So I went through the app and ordered a bunch of stuff. New York steaks were on sale, Cornish game hints, bought a few different types of vegetables. The total was $160. But with the coupons and the $30 off, I ended up spending $48. It's nice to have them pick up the stuff, but the shoppers job is not to help you get the best items. My wife had to replace the salary and the carrots and the steaks. It seems like the shoppers job is too get rid of stuff before it expires and they have no issue giving you bruised or damaged fruits and vegetables. So even though the price was great , the steaks were completely covered with fat and gristle. The vegetables were on their last leg. I do not recommend this service.

I brought home a few steak bowls and Mediterranean chicken bowls. I did purchase a few extra a la carte proteins: grassfed beef and chicken. My kids are picky, but they devoured the chicken breast and grassfed beef. Everything was cooked perfectly! The meat was juicy and tender. I have never had a bad experience here and will pop in for a sandwich or a sushi roll if I'm shopping in the center or post workout before shopping at Costco. Their food is phenomenal all the way around. I'll have to try their ahi bowl next time I'm in. Thanks Sprouts for saving dinner for us the other night. The chimichurri beef bowl and Mediterranean bowls were amazing and exploding with flavor! These bowls will be on rotation to break up the monotony of my plain chicken and rice.

As usual for Costco, the value is insane as you get 5 massive chicken fingers for $6.99 and it comes with a big cup of sauce, but pictures don't really do them justice because these were pretty thick pieces of chicken. They were seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the sauce was perfectly portioned, it is the exact amount of sauce needed, and it is excellent and tangy. This is going to be a dangerous item for me, because not only am I going to get them again and again, but I might be getting them instead of Raising Cane's, which is insane to me. I also got a cookie, which honestly was good but cooked a little too much for my taste, as it was too crisp and almost burnt, and I prefer mine a little softer. But a nice addition is they added call in number for ordering whole pizzas ahead of time for pickup!

If you are buying your groceries for the week go to Winco, you'll save some money and your veg will last a bit longer. Toiletries: I frequently buy my shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash, toothpaste etc here. I'm not going to find the same brand/ flavor every time but I don't care. They carry good brands and I've been very happy with these purchases. Sauce: The sauce isle is one of my favorites. They have a great selection here of all kinds of sauces, marinades, dips, and dressings. Pets: I frequently buy my kitty litter, kitty snacks, and kitty dry food here. Overall with Grocery Outlet you can't go in there expecting to definitely find A, B, and C in the brand and packaging you are used to. Heck it's very likely you'll find A, B, and C it's just not a guarantee and it's also likely that it will be a different flavor or brand. You are guaranteed to find something amazing at a great price that you wouldn't have had the opportunity to try otherwise. Asked the gentleman at the counter about how much each crab weighed-- he had no idea. I asked for one crab and had to point out that he grabbed one with a missing claw. Any crab lover knows the claws are the yummiest part! But, the part that got me was when I asked him to please crack & clean the crab. "We don't do that." A seafood counter that doesn't offer to crack & clean a whole crab? That's a first. So it looks like I'll be cracking & cleaning my own crab tonight.
