I felt so bad for the gal working because they also hassled her for bags (nice reusable bags) much larger than their purchase required. People. This is a THRIFT STORE (not a swap meet or garage sale) where the profits go towards animal rescues. Do not do this. Pay the EXTREMELY fair prices or go somewhere else. It was SO tacky but the gal working handled it with grace. The positive here is I have a ton of reusable bags sitting in the garage that will now be brought here so they have plenty for peoples purchases. :) This is such an adorable little thrift store. It's clean and has some really fun items. Parking on the weekend wasn't bad either. I have been looking for a pair of over the knee boots. I found the perfect pair here and they were only $10! Pricing is extremely fair. Items are clean and in good shape. I am putting together my next bag of donations for this cute shop. I didn't notice much larger size clothing if any but I didn't look through every item. I absolutely love the support behind this store and I will absolutely be a frequent shopper and donator here.

But I left them there, and if I worked my way back to the front of the store and they were still there I would get them. I liked that the clothing racks weren't too cramped. I liked that everything was in its place, shoes all in one spot, same with housewares etc... the store is well lit. Very cute store and I could find myself definitely returning here. It wasn't that packed but the location that it resides in is always full of people during the weekend so it is pretty busy. This place is upstairs and some people may overlook this building just because it's upstairs go have a look you might find some treasure. The people here are pretty cool too. I was greeted when I walked in. I didn't buy anything but they did have some cool stuff.

This store is the sister store to La Tienda Thrift one building over. As you enter the store you will find clothing racks lined on each side. On top of the racks shoes are displaced on top. I bypassed the clothing so I forgot to check the pricing of the merchandise. I headed downstairs where you will find furniture, houseware, books and some radio, speakers etc... I was looking for some glassware to use for water storage when I do my watercolors. But, instead I found some small red/orange bowls I will keep in my camping trailer along with a nice medium size mixing/serving bowl. That will stay in my trailer as well. The price for those items were extremely reasonable! $1 for the small crate and barrel bowl and $3 for the mixing/serving bowl! I noticed that in thrift stores we visited the houseware were very economical! The service was very friendly and welcoming. Parking is a big issue down this entire street. Some of street parking has a two hour time limit. Some of the business don't have their own designated parking.

Pictures will verify this! Looking at some of the prices, I was surprised to see hundred dollar items, that should be (in my opinion) half of what they're asking. Many thrift shops have discount days, or colored price tags, for special special days where things are discounted. Sometimes there are dates on the pricing, and at the end of the month things are majorly reduced. I didn't find anything signage wise that indicated that the prices may change. Finally, after 15 minutes, the gentleman that also seems to be monitoring the door that's facing the register, acknowledged me. But he didn't ask if I'm looking for anything in particular. I usually appreciate it when they do because I did have some things in mind such as a vintage rain lamp, (it's an item from the 70s that one would put mineral oil in it and it would look like droplets of rain falling down) Haven't seen one for sale in a while.

Extremely Unprofessional…read more I walked into Uptown Cheapskate and within one minute of entering, some random lady suddenly yelled across the store: "Everyone get out, we fucking close in 5 minutes." At first we assumed she was an employee because of how aggressively she said it. When we realized she wasn't, we called her out on it. Her response? "Yeah, I'm kind of crazy." What made the situation worse was that the actual employees said nothing about her behavior. No one corrected her, asked her to stop, or even acknowledged how inappropriate it was. On top of that, no staff member informed us when we walked in that the store was closing in 5 minutes even though it was over a hour before the website said they closed, which would have avoided the entire situation. Overall it felt chaotic, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. Customers shouldn't be yelled at by random people in the store while staff just stand there and do nothing. Definitely not a great first impression.

You rock stylie lady with the mysteriously identical body, wherever you are!! I had to subtract 1for no dressing rooms. So if you check this place out for clothes you'll need to be ok with trying anything on over your clothes in front of anyone walking by. Wear slick yoga pants and flip flops to make it easier. Extra points to the two employees working when I was there. They'd recently changed their store hours but hadn't updated it online so they'd let me stay later in kindness for it.

The sales clerk was very helpful with pointing out the price of other items in the store as well - scarves, jewelry, bags - as everything was on special discount. I love the way they curate their selections. I found a couple of shirts in the men's section that I liked. Everything here is new or like new. And they often carry designer clothing. I had a great experience shopping in this store and I'll be back in the future!

That's where I was headed when I found this place last week. We went in, and its very nicely decorated and has a lot of fun stuff. Tried on a few things, and ended up buying three items, and spent about $50. The employees were very nice and helpful. The problem I have, is after going to the thrift store, and not finding anything, and walking around a couple times just looking at items... we left. We walked back to the car, and what I can figure is the owner as all questions go to him, break schedules are told by him, etc. he walked out behind us and followed us giving us the side eye in my car. I have spent money at both locations, but my friend and I looked at each other after this like wait, really? It was extremely odd and uncomfortable and honestly offensive. I will take my actual business elsewhere as it seems we gave you reason to feel we were suspicious. Which, I am really trying to figure out why.
