    Nice womens shoe selection

Hit or miss on prices. They price based on the expertise of the brands and perceived value. Examples below: $4.99 designer purse which is $1-2k online used...looks legit. I didn't recognize the brand but my GF did. $44.99 well loved Disney Loungefly dog mini backpack $4.99 bagged stationary; Crayola & Rose Art are the same price $5.49 POGS; do kids know what these are? $8.99 Men's dress slacks $6.99 Boy's dress slacks $27.99 JCrew jacket x $19.99 Shein jacket $14.99 Disney fans (reg retail $19.99) $7.99 McDonalds Happy Meal toys All in all I would come back. The clothes don't have the typical smell or grimy feel most Salvation Armys do but I think it's just a different demographic donating here. Women's selection was great, lots of gently worn & decent prices. My youngest got a new putter for $3.49, I forget but it was a reputable brand. I also snagged a new with tags pair of boys slacks for $6.99. If you donate, you'll get a 20% coupon for your next shopping trip. Sweet cycle.

This savers is a very big store ! Lots of clothes, toys, housewares ext... just lots of items. Some are reasonably priced while others are just very expensive. Also, you pay taxes here ! So I'm assuming it's a for profit thrift store. If you're looking for cheap clothes , then Salvation Army is cheaper. I like coming here for glasses, jewelry and miscellaneous items. Clothes I refuse to buy.

Aw, this Savers location only averages 2 stars. I found them to be A-OK! Have been to another Savers location in the South Bay a couple of years ago. Mom wanted to check this Lakewood location out. These folks are for-profit opposed to Goodwill thrift stores who are nonprofit. The Savers prices are significantly higher than items you would find at a Goodwill. Was amazed at how the clothing is organized by size. At other thrift stores, clothes are often not in size order. Store was clean and the employee at the self check out section was kind. I did get the cute, big Valentine's bear sitting on the couch! Mom scored an item that had an orange tag (sale color tag of the day) and got 50% off of 14.99. When mom and I are in Lakewood again, we're likely to stop by. 3 stars!

I finally was able to bring my step son here. His words? I love this place you need to take me back! He loved being able to find books of his liking. I loved the price! Love me some savers!

Had an errand to run in Long Beach and after checking that off the list and grabbing breakfast, Mom and I found ourselves with a lotta wiggle time still before her next appointment. So, I did a search for a Savers on the off chance there might be one nearby. 4 miles away from where we were?!? That's how we ended up here. Mom loves thrift stores, so this was a treat! I've been to the ones located in Lomita, Walnut Creek, Vacaville and Pleasanton (I know: that's a lot!) so I sorta knew what to expect. I know about the chaos that happens on Tuesdays with the Senior Citizen discounts, so coming through a Wednesday, I didn't expect much. To my (not-so) surprise, this place was CLEAN. Everything was clean and organized. I didn't even realize I needed stuff but they were so easy to find, I ended up making bargain buys! Mom stayed at the jewelry area for the most part of the time we were there and she, too, scored stuff. Kudos to the staff helping her out there - she was incredibly patient! In my carelessness, I forgot one thing on the counter I'd already paid for before I walked out. We were chased by staff with it! Awesome! Great first run! Will make a stop should there be a next time I'm around this 'hood!

These pencil holders are priced at $1.99 each, when they're sold NEW from Dollar Tree for $1.25.

Since that time it has remained one of the best go-to spots for thrifting in the area. Of all the thrift shops in the South Bay, undoubtedly Savers never ceases to amaze. As can be expected, this thrift store offers all of the things you would expect to find: clothing, shoes, books, records, toys, kitchenware, electronic items, and pretty much everything else you can think of. Plus, they are constantly stocking new items, so every time you go in to this business you're guaranteed to see something new. I know a lot of people talk about the prices at this thrift store. For pretty much all of the items I find them to be very reasonable. In fact, you can truly find some one of a kind items for incredible prices. In terms of the clothing, yes, they are a bit high in their pricing compared to other thrift store chains. For some people, they may not want to spend $12.00 to $20.00 for say a used shirt. Though this is not always the case, a lot of their clothing is fairly expensive. This is just something to keep in mind if you haven't been here before. If you're going to be shopping for clothing at Savers, you've pretty much have got to expect to pay the top dollar for it in terms of the used market. This is a necessarily bad or good, and it isn't a criticism, it's just the way Savers operates. Overall, this is a truly good shop. I can't say enough about this place and the staff here are always super nice and friendly. Overall, it's one of my favorite places to thrift. You never know what you're going to find. I know I have found some truly incredible items at this store.

This thrift store is very well organized. Perhaps that's one of the most interesting things about it. They even have their clothing organized by size. So, this makes shopping for that vintage piece of clothing much easier. This is something that few other thrift stores do. And, it's really appreciated. Because, it makes the whole shopping experience, not only easier but more enjoyable. Beacon House has far more than just clothing, however. This shop is stuffed full of all kinds of everything else, from electronics, to kitchen goods, to musical items, to LPs, cassette tapes, pretty much anything you can think of, they've got something. As is the case with all thrift stores, the inventory at this business is constantly changing. So, going in here one day may be very different from going in the next day. You will never know what you're gonna find. And, that's what makes this business a really unique shopping experience. So, if you're one of those people that enjoy going to thrift shops, seeking out antiques, vintage items, discarded items that nobody really cared about, or pretty much anything else, this is a great place to go. Of all the thrift stores in the area, this is definitely one of the best.
